Wow! The absolute best pizza in Texas that I've had in my 12 years of living here!…read more I moved to Austin from NY and If you like a NY style crust with the finest quality ingredients , than just like me, this is your place! The dough is thin with the perfect amount of chew to the crust . Even though these pies are all 12" personal sized , the pieces still fold like A Slice from NYC. The sauce is delicious , toppings are limited but amazing quality ! We had the pepperoni and sausage and the white pie and both were just incredible. The chef/owner is clearly passionate about what he creates and his Wife handles the front of the house friendly and poised. The Family that owns this place are just super cool. All In all Sylvia Pizza has really Great service , cool LA vibes with great NY Pizza. My only wish is that they made larger pizzas too! I highly recommend this place! Give them a try you won't regret it.

I wanted to choose my own toppings and assumed cheese would be on it so I didn't choose cheese. They sent a text asking me to confirm that I did not want cheese on my pizza. I didn't see the text because I was driving there, but when I arrived they had not made it yet, since I didn't respond. That really impressed me. That was great customer service! It's a small place back in a corner, so I see how I missed it before. While I waited they let me sample a small cone of their homemade ice cream. It was chocolate cinnamon. It was not bad, but not something that I would have put together. The ice cream was creamy and it they had another flavor I would have bought some! I ordered a small pepperoni, with onions and peppers. They don't use green peppers but they had red and yellow. It was delicious. Their pizza doesn't come with a ton of toppings but the sauce and crust are so good, you won't miss it. I will be back for more!

To start off the garlic knots were amazing, didn't even snag a pic lol!…read more The knots had great crust, good level of moisture and just the right amount of oil. Paired with some marinara it was perfect! Pizza 8.9/10! SO good, great crust, perfect balance of cheese and sauce and overall cooked to perfection! Toppings also were evidently fresh and of high quality! 1000% you have to get the hot honey drizzle on your pizza, it was incredible! The only bit of feedback I would give to management is to replace the cactus plant with something that doesn't have little pokies, sadly my wife brushed her arm past it and we ended up going on a 45 minute quest to get all of the little cactus pins out :( The plant was also in a broken ceramic pot- broken ceramic is potentially as sharp or sharper than a razor, and I wouldn't want anyone to hurt themselves badly! All in all, great experience and we will gladly be swinging by whenever we're in San Marc

Good, but not great. -I enjoyed their Maine Root fountain soda. I got the "Dr. Pepper" flavor and it was sweet, but didn't have a very strong cherry flavor. -The price point was really good. Cost less than $20 for a 16" pizza, $25 out the door with drinks and tip : ) Recommended.

I LOVE. GUMBY'S! I am a local Trasher and I Will forever be pn the Gumby's "Hype Train".....(As…read morethe kid's call it...) The pizza's are Incredible......Just a simple. Cheese pizza was breath taking. The employees are so Welcoming I feel safe. I would trust Them with my blind norwegian forest cat with Radial Hypoplasia. Hey Siri. I can't not explain the ambiance of this location but It feels like I'm in my wifes arms again......I love the interior design!!!!!!! I love Gumby's and I Love the mascot!!!! Hey Siri. Stop.

It has happened. You CAN split a pizza into two specialty halves. The prices of the two-topping calzone, garden salad, and 3pc tender haven't gone up, which is nice, and the tenders still include a wing sauce AND dipping sauce but cream cheese is no longer a dip option. Specialty items like t-shirts are still listed but at zero dollars and you can't select a size so....perhaps it's still under construction. I doubt it, since my email coupons have also coincidentally dried up recently although the revolving weekly text offers have continued (as of 30 JULY 2026). I hope they still have in-house delivery drivers, because they've always been great people. Perhaps nothing has changed within the brick and mortar, and I truly wish y'all a great time of it. For me, Gumby's was a frequent ritual of petsitting. Sharing pizza crusts with pups and treating myself to a mule and Mountain Dew wasn't fine dining but it was consistent quality and reliable delivery after a day of work and familiar as I settled in at any of several addresses across town. Still tasty, I'll just see them less now because the convenience of the former platform is gone for my typical orders. Time to find new favorites!

My spouse and I got dinner, and I got the veggie sub and Greek salad. It was an amazing…read morecombination. In the first place, the veggie sub had breaded, fried artichoke hearts that made a wonderfully textured and flavorful main to the sandwich, and of course, the bread is delightfully chewy -- which you can see in the bread machine that they have on site. But the star of the show was the Greek salad. It was amazing: a light, crisp explosion of Mediterranean flavors into my palate. Seriously, peppercinis, vinaigrette, olives, and artichokes give the whole thing a wonderfully acidic flavor, but not overly so, and the feta is a fantastic accompaniment. Seriously, if light and crispy are your Thing, you should have this salad. It's always great for a restaurant to have vegetarian options, and Valentino's delivers.

We were coming down to the last meals of his visit and Mr R absolutely lit up when I asked if he…read morewanted Valentino's again. He repeated his beloved veggie sub with its fried artichoke hearts and tried their Greek salad this time. I chose spicy mortadella and couldn't pass up the chance for us both to try the current feature, fried green tomato. The chips are back in the container with the subs (which can have varying results depending on how juicy your sub is, but they're undeniably tasty). Mr R was so happy with his veggie sub again and THRILLED with the Greek salad. At first I wondered if they used 'nduja but I believe I spied Calabrian peppers on the bread--whatever the source, a decent burn kicks in after a delay on the mortadella. A lovely cool slaw atop which proved pretty juicy. Very nice. If this is your first time with mortadella, know that frying it makes it exquisite and you should definitely try that sometime. But it was the fried green tomato sub* which had me sounding like a remake of When Harry Met Sally, the perfect golden fry on gently tart green tomatoes interspersed with chunks of feta and a light ripe tomato relish had me making sounds that would have been embarrassing if we'd chosen to eat at the restaurant. Mr R agreed when he got his half. That is definitely on the keeper list. Mr R said his real sugar soda was lovely. Outside of some chips and the last bites of spicy mortadella sub that became a cold morning snack, we cleaned UP and slept soundly on bellies full of the good stuff. Love, love, love it. *fried green tomato was their weekly special option; specials rotate out and may repeat someday or never be seen again. Have fun.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and open for business again…read more Stopped in a bit late and ordered a meatball sub to go before grabbing drinks and a few groceries next door. It was ready in exactly ten minutes as they advised, and it was beautiful. They give you the option of having your sandwich toasted. YES (I dream of being able to do this at Thunderclouds). Even after a cold few minutes' journey my dinner was still hot when I got home. There was more cheese, pushing into decadent, and I added green peppers as usual. A hint of garlic somewhere, bread's about the same, and right out the gate the meatballs are in the neighborhood of the best quality the original Sunny's offered in a decade's fluctuations. The price was still about the same; even with an add-on it was less than $9 cash and satisfying for a hungry adult. Staff were perfectly courteous and the place is spic and span as expected, having witnessed late night cleaners on premises several times over the weeks they took to reopen. I look forward to revisiting the rest of the menu again here, which includes bagels from the truck they recently ran on the other side of the convenience store.
