The service was good, our waiter was very personable and nice. He gave us plenty of time to review the menu and told us all about that evenings special. I had the Mushroom Prosciutto which was AMAZING! I loved everything about it and all the different kinds of mushrooms that were used, my friend got the Mushroom Risotto, which he also said was very delicious but he said he would definitely order the Mushroom Prosciutto over the Risotto next time. I wish I would have snapped some pictures but I was too excited to dive into the dish!

**June 2025: Friday Afternoon Visit**…read more My friend and I were driving through Fargo and needed a spot to refuel. I found Spaghetti Western and saw many positive reviews regarding this little Italian spot. We hadn't had Italian so far on this trip so we decided to check it out. We made it at 1pm-ish which was a relief since their weekday lunch hours are from 11:30am-2pm. We were lucky enough to find parking right in front of the restaurant and get seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was super personable and made us feel like we were dining with a friend. We asked her for some must dos in the area, and she was so excited and thoughtful to share. She really took good care of us and it made our dining experience that much better. What we orderedL Caesar Salad ($13) - It had a nice nice anchovy bite to it and the lettuce was very crisp. Gnocchi $20, Cheese $2 - The texture of the gnocchi had a nice chew and the cheese gave it that rich smooth velvety taste to it. Lemon Ricotta $19 - The flavor was very light and subtle The food was outstanding. The pasta all had that al dente taste to it and you can just tell how much love was put into crafting these dishes. In summary, I really enjoyed my experience here. It's kind of a trendy casual spot, but the hospitality was on par with some fine dining establishments and the food was delicious. If you're finishing up your 50 states and heading to Fargo, ND as your last pitstop Spaghetti Western is a great place to celebrate!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind of place where you instantly know you're about to have a great experience. We ordered the seared halibut and the wild acres duck breast, and honestly... I'm still thinking about them. The halibut was perfectly cooked -- tender, delicate, and packed with flavor. The duck was incredible -- rich, balanced, and executed with precision. Every bite felt intentional. And the service? Just as impressive. Attentive, friendly, and natural -- not forced, not rushed -- just real hospitality that made the whole experience even better. It's been a long time since I've had food this memorable. This wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. I'll definitely be coming back -- and next time, I'm bringing people with me. Highly recommend.

Hole in the wall places where abeulitas are making the best molé ever with 37 ingredients, Pho with the perfect balance of fish sauce, lime and ginger without too much salt... You get it. When my daughter described this restaurant and cheese shop... formerly a bread and coffee shop, I thought it probably would be good but I was WoWeD. Now I've been there 4-5 times, mostly for dinner with family but also with a friends for lunch. Have always been pleased and proud of and for Fargo. The food has always been good and often exquisite! We usually start with their delicious mocktails and appetizers for the table. Yes, the popovers are wonderful as is the cheeseboard. The menu changes fairly often with some mainstays. The guys in our family often go for the Wagyu steak. Duck and various pasta dishes have also been favorites. I think there's always been a vegetarian option too. I've loved several. The staff is knowledgeable and servers excellent. The atmosphere is unassuming casual and cozy. Save room for desert! They do that well too.

This is because they're still recovering from the COVID lockdowns and everything, so it's food from the fridge and take home at the moment. The food is REALLY good though. We got the vegan lasagna (We're vegetarians and this was the only savory thing for us sadly), and it rocked! They make the noodles fresh in-house and you can tell. Then there's the main thing here: The olive oil. OMG! Go in and try it! Then walk out with a whole bunch of oils and balsamics because it's SO GOOD! I'm still amazed at the "butter" olive oil because it doesn't have any dairy in it but tastes JUST LIKE a butter/oil blend. This place was casually suggested to us after we moved to the area and I can honestly say it doesn't have enough love. GO THERE! ... Why are you still reading? GET GOING! BRING SOME BREAD!
