If you are in Moorhead MN stop by and try a beer. We stopped by just as they were opening. They were very friendly and the bartender even showed me around their new event space. There are now two stage areas. We had our dogs who were welcomed. The beer was good, the service was amazing. We got some beer cheese and bacon bread to go and it was also really good.

Popped in Thursday to check it out. Beertender Rachel was friendly. Being a warm day with an agenda I opted for a half pint of the refreshing El Luchador. It was a comfy sized tap room and it wasn't too loud. Small parking lot that they share w the other businesses but easy street parking. Thanks Swing Barrel

A quick hop from downtown Fargo is this nice brewery. Relaxing atmosphere, nice music (not too loud), and friendly staff. We love IPA's and they had several to choose from. My husband got the Tree Shaker and I ended up getting the Sweet Melissa because I love a good peach beer. The place is dog friendly out on the patio, but no shade in the afternoon, and well behaved dogs are invited to come inside which is awesome! We travel with an eleven year old pug so it's nice to have the option of bringing him inside when it's hot out.

If you're looking for a good solid variety of beer this is your place! I ordered a flight of 4 and had a lager, Oktoberfest, IPA, and Gose, and all were amazing!! They also have a large variety of hard seltzer's for those that don't like beer. The bar area is located above the brewery itself, which is fun! There also was an amazing bbq food truck out front and a blocked off area to play corn hole! Would highly recommend!

I imagine it'd be tough to open a new business amidst a pandemic but Swing Barrel seems to be handling it with grace. We visited for the first time tonight and I was impressed with the well-thought out plan for social distancing. Kudos to the team for their friendly service, solid craft beer, and spacious patio.

Very solid brews. Quality time and passion shows through what these guys are doing. Stopped through on my way across to ND. Pleasantly surprised with great IPA's. Cool setting with the kettles out front. Should be a must stop on your list.

We were devastated but decided to try this place out and man it delivered and MORE. I love sours, I cannot get enough of sours, and this place has SO many on tap. I was in heaven. I did a flight in the main brewery area, saddled up near some arcade games and enjoyed the vibe and feel of the place. It reminds me of so many of the breweries that I love down in the Twin Cities. The logo, simply amazing. This is such a fresh take on a brewery and to see in North Dakota is refreshing. After finishing our first round we ventured over to the brewhalla/market area? Can't recall what it was called but man we could've spent hours in that section. We did a little shopping, tried some other beers that weren't available in the taproom (more sours!!!) and grabbed some food to snack on as we walked. My husband was a big fan of the oysters - who would've thought? Having the hotel attached as well was genius. Next time we're in town, we're staying there! Can't wait to stop in when we're back in town.

There is nothing quite as refreshing and tasty as a freshly made lemon drop. No artificial anything here. What a wonderful example of the specialized Martini trend made famous through the 90s and early 2000s. We also sampled a Swedish and Danish delicacy known as aquavit. If you are a fan of licorice or ouzo, give this delightfully pungent and aromatic beverage a try. We sampled it straight up, they may have it as a mix in for a drink but I'm not sure. Overall this place is a great experience and really knows their stuff. It was a joy to visit here and I think about it frequently when I remember my trip to Fargo.
