The zuppa de pesce was watery, sauce was like ketchup aka no seasoning, no flavor, no garlic, no nothing. Chicken Alfredo was disgusting too, the chicken tasted overly charred like the grill hasnt been cleaned & the Alfredo was sub-par, watery with excess oil, and fettuccine was overcooked. The salads that came with the meal were literally lettuce only -- 1 small grape tomato, 1 cucumber slice, few carrot shreds. Had to doctor up the salads with our own tomatos & cucumbers from home. Garlic bread was not garlic bread, it was a pita with herbs on it & no butter, no garlic. For the price Vetranos charges for literal slop, we will not be returning. read more

I recently gave them a one for a couple of pizzas I didn't like. They contacted me and gave me two free pizzas of my choice which were excellent. We dined in for a pizza. the pizza came out and was lukewarm warm at best. I ordered a glass of wine, $9.00, per glass and the waitress poured less than a half glass of wine into the smallest wine glass I've seen. when I asked for a proper glass of wine, the waitress said I had actually received more! I've always enjoyed the food at Vetranos, with the highlights being their chicken parm dinner and their pepperoni pizza. Tonight was different. As a person with a new gluten sensitivity, it's been difficult to find a decent pizza. I was confident that Vetranos would knock it out of the park. I was SO wrong. First of all, it was almost $30 for a gluten free pizza? It's 6 slices and 12inches. That's UNREAL. If the pizza was amazing, maybe I could somehow attempt to justify this, but that was not even close to how I would describe the pie I received. The crust was mealy, soggy, and somehow tasted exactly like the box it was packaged in. There were maybe 10 pieces of pepperoni on the whole pizza. I get it. Gluten free flour is slightly more expensive, but DANG. Not only do I have to pay more for my food, but I have to sacrifice flavor too? Yuck. read more

The pizza is good but service is not. Went in there a few months ago to pick up my order and I just waited. No one was in front of me I finally said, bc I saw my name on the box, is that my pizza? and she said yes and gave it to me. I again went recently, I gave my name she put the pizza on counter and she walked away! Friday evening I was with a party of 22 and Marisa was our server. We had the most wonderful time, as always the food was excellent, every one of us was delighted! We stopped in for dinner on a family member's recommendation and they did not steer us wrong! The fresh bread brought to the table with garlic olive oil was warm and delicious. We tried the calamari which was a generous portion, perfectly cooked. The veal sorrentina and parm were both extremely tender and flavorful. Our waitress Nicky was a delight and very attentive. Vetrano's Rigatoni A La Vodka is creamy and plentiful. They don't skimp on the portions at all, leaving me a great amount for leftovers. Their bread is moist, squishy, and flavorful. Not satisfied at all. A couple years back- my teenaged son and his gf went here on a date. Among some of the things they ordered was the New England clam chowder. While eating his soup he bit down and his tooth had chipped on a clam shell fragment. He showed the server and the manager came over. They verified it was a shell and a piece of his tooth. They apologized. They also still charged him for the whole meal. After he came home he told me what happened. I was in disbelief when he said they didn't try to compensate in any way. I called them up and was upset that they'd take advantage of young kids like that. They took advantage that they were naive and they got them for their money. When I spoke to a manager he apologized that they still got charged - yet made no offer to reimburse us. He said his lawyers for the insurance company would contact me. I waited a whole year. I called them again. I said his lawyers never contacted me. He took down all the information again. He assured me that someone would call me. 3 years later..... still waiting read more
