He then sent us over for an air check, where we discovered that one of the tires was completely flat. Our truck has dual tires on each side, which makes it even more concerning that the technician failed to notice such an obvious issue. It's frustrating and concerning when you bring your work vehicle in expecting the technicians to know what they're doing, only to discover that a tire is completely flat after being told everything was fine. This raises serious concerns about the quality of their inspections and their attention to detail, especially when it comes to work trucks and safety. I expected better service and a more thorough inspection. I hope management takes this seriously and makes sure their technicians are properly trained to inspect tires before telling customers their vehicles are safe to go.

Saul brought the correct replacement tire, removed our wheel, mounted the new tire, checked pressures on the inside tire, and put the new tire on our RV in about 17 minutes. (The day before, a different company near Lubbock took about 2 hours to just put the spare on the inside, because they didn't have the right jack or longer socket. Ugh!) The most recent reviews were negative for this location but I thought I would try them again. I met with Daniel the service advisor at my 7:00 am scheduled appointment. Daniel gave me a complete estimate for the services I requested and followed up later when my truck was finished and ready to be picked up. I was very pleased that the estimate and final invoice was exactly the same, and they did not try to up sell unnecessary services or parts. My truck was ready on time, and the multi-point inspection identified some services for my next maintenance appointment. I would recommend this location, having two successful appointments completed for maintenance services.

Before even driving down, I specifically called ahead to ask if they could perform the alignment *and* recalibrate the steering angle sensor. The employee on the phone assured me they could do both and quoted me prices for both a single and a lifetime alignment. Based on that confirmation, I booked an appointment for the same day. After sitting in the waiting room for over an hour, I overheard the technician telling the front desk clerk that while the alignment was done, he couldn't recalibrate the steering angle sensor because "it wasn't an option on any of their tools." I immediately confronted the person behind the counter. This is completely unacceptable. Anyone who knows trucks knows that without recalibrating that sensor, you will still experience issues with the steering wheel not being straight, pulling, and improper tracking. The employee then went into the shop to help the technician. A few minutes later, he came back and claimed they just needed to "renew the subscription" on their Autel scan tool. So, I sat there for *another* 45 minutes. Finally, I watched my truck get pulled around to the front. They walked in and admitted that even after updating their subscription, they **still** couldn't recalibrate the sensor. **The Bottom Line:** While they didn't charge me for the alignment since they couldn't finish the job, they wasted two hours of my day and left my truck unresolved. If you own a 2018 or newer Chrysler, Ram, Jeep, or Dodge, consider this a warning: **Do not bring your vehicle to this Firestone.** They do not have the necessary equipment or tools to properly service your steering sensors. UNACCEPTABLE!

The "More" is the BEST part. I went to multiple tire stores around town, and one actually tried hard to sell me tires that were the wrong size, and didn't offer to put them on. None of the others offered any service other than tires, and didn't have them in stock, or offer to find them. I called Jesse on their day off, and he gave me information on when they're open, even quoted a price. I came in when they were open and dealt with Edward, and he made me feel like a friend right off the bat. They didn't have my tires in inventory, and within minutes he ordered some online. He didn't charge for that service. The tires will be in tomorrow morning. Alignment prices are good, and he was very knowledgable about Toyotas. He said come in tomorrow morning, and the entire job will be done in an hour or less. When I got there, he was working on a Mercedes, and that customer also says he loves the service at this location. It doesn't matter to me really, but the 2 men I talked to did speak excellent English, if that matters to some people. The location is excellent, right off 35, around restaurants and gas stations, on your way to Walmart. Very easy to find. Also the building is professional, and comfortable with chairs and AC. Truly a great find, with amazing customer service, good prices, and knowledgable people **HERE IS THE KICKER** My 2017 Corolla, I had never used the spare. It had a hole in it, and was unusable. Edward not only sealed the tire so I could get home, he also put it on at NO CHARGE. I will refer this to anyone. It is the best tire and more shop I've ever seen. I highly recommend it.

Yesterday, I rescued a tiny kitten from the side of the road, but after putting her in my car, she seemingly vanished. My family, coworkers, and I searched everywhere and couldn't find her. I assumed she had escaped. To my surprise, the next morning she suddenly appeared on my center console before disappearing again into the car's interior. I brought my vehicle to Goodyear, and their team took the time to help me search for her. After some careful investigating, they found the tiny kitten hidden underneath the glove box near a vent. The staff was patient, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping me rescue this little stowaway. Thanks to their efforts, the kitten is safe and on her way to getting checked out by a veterinarian. I truly appreciate the kindness and extra effort they showed during such an unexpected situation. Top that off with discounted gas at the pumps and a a swirl yogurt cup, and this is one of three places during my San Marcos trip yesterday that made me happy.
