This company is awful. Told us we needed an appt so we got one at 8a the next day. Got here and no one here. Called and was told they open at 9a. Called back a few times to ask why we were told 8a. Girl on phone was rude, which turned into nasty. We called back to verify that we had a verified appt at 9a to get the car. She stated yelling profanities at us and told us they'll get there when they get there. We came back at 9a and no one here. There were other people here wanting to pick up their car and they called them and was hung up on and blocked. They had also blocked one of our numbers. We called from another number, they answered and proceeded to tell us that there was no one else here, it was only us. The girls in the other car are as mad as we are. I am A Army Veteran, That lives in an appartment complex that uses Will Tow to patrol and remove cars that are not authorized. I had a parking Sticker in my window. That towed my car and wanted $75 dollars to give it back. They where told that there was a parking sticker in the window and where showed. I took a picture and they increased the price to $116.00. I? called the San Marcos Police and because they are ontracted with San Marcos I would have to put in a complant with the Marshals Office online. This is Legalized car thift!! This place runs by their own rules. A car sitting at Highcrest OVER a year with 2018 plates gets to sit in the parking lot but one of my cars that I was going to give back to the finance company and had removed the plates due to them being handicapped and I will need to transfer them. They could have run the vin and I know they can but they took the car anyway. My apt complex allows that broken down car stay and they said they did not know what I drive? Gee they put up the handicapped parking sign for me and see me getting mail by the office I park in front of the office to get my mail. They stole my car from my daughters residence that she leases. It had the parking sticker visible on top lt side of windshield. They took it from her designated parking spot. They did not call San Marcos dispatch and tell them they were towing my car. Essentially they stole it and held for ransom. The pic is a pic my daughter took from impound lot with visible parking sticker. Owner Will Mannon not only refused to refund fee, after he accused my daughter of trying to "hide" sticker ...yep she must have wanted to get towed.... But also admits to violating correct towing protocol which is to call San Marcos police and inform them of tow. I have filed complaint and reported to towing enforcement and spoken to The Retreat manager about his unprofessionalism. Refuses to refund although admits mistake, he also threatened my daughter by saying he was going to be looking for her car to make sure she put the sticker somewhere else. The retreat has been informed that he is not to be near my child or my car or I will pursue a restraining order. If you have been illegally towed by his company make sure to file your complaint and take it to court. Towing is a crime against college students. 3 times I've been towed by this place. That's 300 dollars worth of towing fees which is half my rent. I've done everything possible to prevent it but they still select mine to take. I've had visitor passes on my dashboard that were approved by the office, still somehow managed to get towed. Spoke to someone on the phone hoping to somehow work something out cost wise and no passion and sympathy was shown (shared personal reasons as to why this is too much). I've seen them adjust pricing for guests but it was refused to be done for mine (made up some reason as to why she couldn't) Absolutely terrible place. Targeting and towing college students should be a crime. At this point I might as well send them my rent bill since they want to take that money from me. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Everyone was so rude to us when we went. Me and my boyfriend went on a date and I had left my car parked in the wrong parking for 1 hour. When we got back it was 7pm and my car was towed. Yes unfortunately I parked in the wrong spot but for them to have such attitude is disappointing. My bf called them to see if we could pick up my car. They first said in one hour we could go and then they called 5 min later saying we could go then. First they are unorganized and do not communicate well with each other. I then asked the guy straight up if his job was just to tow cars and play video games since he just sat in his chair unbothered at work not even working. He got very defensive and started rudely saying maybe I should go back to working at my military base because I had previously asked if he had a military discount. My fault for asking I guess. As I was driving from San Antonio back to Cedar Park my car started going haywire. I was able to get it to the Toyota dealership in San Marcos. My car is a Honda Crosstour so they couldn't service it but told me that the Honda dealer was about 2 miles away. Because my car was going haywire I didn't want to risk it. Will came to tow it but said that it was probably just the battery. He said that he would follow me to the Honda dealer and not charge me. We did and I just got it there. I was out cycling on Old Bastrop Hwy. on February 8, 2022 around 2 pm. when Will Tow diesel tow truck came up alongside me "in the shoulder" of the road and rolled coal (diesel exhaust) in my face. Driver then drove back out into the road and turned onto Centerpoint Rd. where he did it again apparently to prove what a badass he is. This was extremely reckless and not to mention unbelievably childish. This shows a total disregard for the rights of cyclists to be on the road. He also violated the 3 Foot Law in the State of Texas requiring drivers to stay three feet from cyclists. Incredibly stupid thing to do this in a vehicle clearly marked with your company name "WILL TOW". I would not recommend anyone using a company that does not respect the rights and safety of others out on public roads. My daughter's car was parked at her sister's apartment without a sticker so it was towed. Not the problem. The problem was the towing company insisted I make an appointment to pick it up. We got there at the designated time. The front door was unlocked and the only person in the office was passed out on the couch in a very compromising position talking to himself and doing other things that I cannot describe on this forum. We called dispatch and we waited another 40 minutes for someone to arrive. Dispatch advised us to not wake him and to go wait in our car. A man and woman arrived to give us the car. The entire time the first guy is passed out on the couch visibly tweaking out on some kind of drug and the owners were just blowing it off like nothing. At one point he stated that the man was his cousin and had mental health issues and was not supposed to be there alone. Uhmmmm, ok... The other woman who came with him had a horrible attitude and was laughing under her breath. It felt unsafe and super shady. I truly hope you do not have to use this towing company. read more

These bums came to the cottages at san marcos UNINVITED, walked around just to find someone to tow, they took my car while I was visiting my friend. They had no right to tow it as visiting parking is allowed for 1 day, they came to the cottages by themselves just to find people to tow. These guys are certified losers. No one disagrees that the process of getting towed absolutely blows. However If Will Tow is the tower, as it was in my case, consider yourself lucky. San Marcos only has 3-4 towing services and of them all Will Tow is the best hands down - you don't have to worry about anyone rummaging through your car, or your vehicle being damaged because it is in good hands. Their office is in a good location, 5 minutes from down town, just on the other side of I-35. MAKE SURE YOU CALL FIRST in order to ensure someone is at the office.
