We were traveling to Fredericksburg when our alternator went out late at night, leaving us stranded and unsure of what to do. We called Wembley Towing, and they arrived within 30 minutes--such a relief! I want to give a special shoutout to Mr. Stephens for his kindness and professionalism. He took the time to not only pick up our vehicle but also made sure my husband and I were safely transported all the way to our destination. In a stressful situation, they truly went above and beyond. Excellent service, quick response time, and genuine care for their customers. I highly recommend Wembley Towing! read more

Flatbed Towing from a public place. The dispatcher was polite professional listened well. I have a Audi TT 2004. It cannot be dragged behind a tow truck. Even though I have specified this on numerous occasions with other tow trucks on occasion, they have come with the straps for towing behind. Not this company! The driver, Emilio, called me when he was on his way, and told me almost to the dot when he would arrive. As I had to leave my vehicle, this was such a pleasure. He sent me pictures of it up on the flatbed, at the repair shop, and I found this to be out standing service by him ! Such a nice man so friendly and amiable on the phone. On the hopefully rare occurrence that I need a vehicle towed, I will request Wimberley and Emilio if he is available! Fabulous job, Emilio! read more

I've been quite busy but I'm getting to the review because my driver was awesome. After calling AAA the call got routed to these guys. They were quick to get a guy dispatched to me. Stephen Oberman was my driver and he was cool as hell. He chatted me up about bikes as he got mine loaded onto the truck and was able to get it delivered to a friend's shop. 5 stars these guys are awesome, if I ever have the choice these are the guys I'm choosing. Thank you! read more

I am so thankful for Wimberley towing. Emilio, the driver, was polite and helpful; and made my towing situation so much less stressful after my accident. After a horrible experience with armada towing, Wimberley towing came to the rescue. Emilio was very experienced, And getting the van on the truck was super easy. Wimberley towing does not try to take advantage of people when they are in a stressful situation. Five stars all the way! read more

BE WARNED. This company will not accept any kind of responsibility for any damage they do to your vehicle. Used AAA and Wimberley Towing was dispatched. Car had ZERO alignment issues before the tow. During the tow the car slipped and jolted back but didn't think much of it at the time. Car was sitting in driveway 3 days until it got repaired by a mobile mechanic on site and the first day driving the alignment was off and within 24 hours we took it to repair shop that said tie rod was bent. This is not something that happens over time. It is my belief (and that of the car repair place) that when the car slipped back while being pulled onto the tow truck, that caused the bend which in turn caused misalignment. It is incredible how this towing company can just say "it's not our fault" when there was no problem beforehand and all of a sudden after the tow there IS a problem which could ONLY be explained by what two people at the tow site saw (the slip of the car which hit metal which could have caused the bend or the improper securing of the vehicle). I really I wish i would have just paid out of pocket to get my car towed by a more reputable towing company. Now I am spending instead more than 3 times to fix a repair caused by this company's negligence. read more

My girlfriend and I were visiting Austin on a little vacation and we rented a car from Hertz to go to Fredericksburg. We were halfway there when our front tire blew out. It was very scary. We called for assistance and Mark showed up and was so nice and courteous and polite. He did everything he could to make our experience a happy one. He even stopped on the way back at a convenience store so that we could get a drink as we were parched from sitting in the car. It was so nice to have such a lovely human being help us. Thank you, Mark! read more

Was assigned this tow company thru a triple a call when my car stopped switching gears on the highway. They refused to come get me. It was 9pm and they said I would have to wait until the next day....I was stranded on the side of 290. Never ever ever have I had such a horrible dangerous experience. I had to pull the parking brake, leave my car and Uber away. I live out of town and had to return the next day. Terrifying to know I don't have reliable Triple A coverage in this area. read more

Extreme lack of professionalism and courtesy on both the roadway and in person. There are much better options in the local area

You Guys are came out and did what other companies wouldn't do Thanks Steven BMW made it Thanks to Wimberley They will get my business for life and definitely going to recommend them to AAA read more

Great company! Really helped me out with a hard situation, car dead in the garage. They have the expertise and the equipment to get it out and over to the Tesla service center. Not too many tow companies know how to handle the intracacies of Teslas... they are on top of it, and the best part.... so professional and easy to work with. Do not let them do anything to your car. I had Jason Morton come out to fix my tire, a flat tire. He dropped the car from the jack twice damaging the frame of the car and bumper and now this company is refusing to help me due to their negligence. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Talked with the owner and still wasn't willing to take responsibility of their actions. read more

Wimberley Towing has helped me twice, and both times they were the most affordable and friendly. The second time I used their services, they showed up earlier than scheduled and then my vehicle was delayed to be towed, and the driver patiently waited. Every time I have needed a tow they have given 5star service. Just had a massive flat up in Dripping and Jason was prompt, professional and so very kind. Far over and above the basic needs. I love these guys! read more

They charge the elderly and all others way more than the market does. Me you make your choice but I will never call them again.

I would have to start off by saying, if anyone could understand what kind of day yesterday had started out to be, you would understand what part Shawn and Emilio played in showing me that there are still great people in the world. At the time that we desperately was seeking for help, Shawn and Emilio were there. My friend/employee was broken down and Shawn and Emilio happened to pull into the same Auto Parts Store as he was broken down in. I just by happenstance walked in and broke down into tears because all of the emotions of the day had finally released and all I could do was cry. I am sorry Shawn had to be the one to receive this emotion and tears. Long story short Shawn jumped in to show Darius and I grace by giving us a tow around the corner. His Professionalism and Friendly nature is why I can not give this company enough stars. This company deserves so many more! As I later find out, the reason Shawn and Emilio were even there at the Auto Part Store, was because one of their other towing trucks was broken down. For them to take time from their own issues and trouble, to help us shows that these two gentleman have a compassionate/servants character, which is hard to find now days. Thank You Shawn and Emilio for that small act of kindness because you were the light that shined on our day. May you reap all of the blessings that you deserve. I will never go anywhere else except this company!!!!! Highly Recommended Thanks, Lynette and Darius read more

Fantastic customer service! Both Shawn and Robert were friendly and knowledgeable. I thought I needed a tow and I just needed a jump. Robert came and asked questions and went above and beyond! On a Saturday night, it did take 2 hours in Wimberley, yet I am grateful for this service and will use them again if needed! God bless! read more

I needed a jump today while running errands. Called Geico, I had roadside assistance and they set it up for me. I can't remember the drivers name but he was a life saver, got to me as soon as he could, great communication. Very friendly and gave me helpful advice. I will keep them in mind if I ever need their services again! read more

I would like to thank Wimberley Towing for coming out and helping tow my truck back to my house after 4 hours on the phone with triple A. They were there in no time and special thanks to Brian E the driver. They took care of me when nobody else would answer the phone. Much appreciated to see a good local business taking care of its people. read more

They were dispatched through my Allstate Roadside Assistance service. Alex did an EXCELLENT job of contacting me to let me know he was enroute and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in diagnosing my tire problem. Since his truck was equipped with a compressor, he inflated the tire, checked for an obvious serious leak, and hearing none, assured me that I would be fine driving over to Firestone for a repair/replacement. (Far better option than putting on the spare that came with my car.) read more

Completely changed the opinion I held that all tow truck companies are corrupt and horrible to deal with. These guys character and morals are unparalleled! read more

I just had an EXCELLENT experience with Wimberley Towing. After accidentally driving my husbands new car into the deep end of the back pasture and having it get stuck in pea gravel, I was under the gun to get it winched out in order to make an appointment. I called Wimberley Towing and the owner himself Shawn roared to my rescue, getting here within a record breaking 20 minutes of my initial call. He was as professional as could be, working quickly to pull the car out to a firm surface. After learning that Shawn also works full time as a Wimberley Fire Fighter, as well as running this excellent service for local residents, I just had to take a moment to sing his praises. His truck was top of the line, and he clearly knew what he was doing, making sure not to damage any of the fiberglass bumper when he winched it out. If anyone needs a good, reputable towing service in the Wimberley, Dripping Springs or Austin area, I highly recommend supporting this very nice man and his awesome company. :) read more

I slid off the road from gravel and crash debris and into a guardrail on Fitzhugh Rd. 9/23/2017 at 4:00 p.m. a mile from my work location on my way to work. Hays County deputy sheriff showed up and rather than allow me to contact my insurance co. for roadside assistance to tow my vehicle off the side of the road to my mechanic 5 minutes away he called Wimberley Towing who has a contract with Hays Co. Sherrif Office. Wimberley towing destroyed my vehicle rather than opening up the gate on the side of the road they drug it over the guardrail and a big wooden post and did massive damage underneath and to the body. They totaled it and then asked me for the title to cover the towing and storage expense. I am seeking legal recourse now. They are very smug and denied doing any damage although there are before and after photos. Be forewarned they are malicious. read more

Some friends and I were riding our bicycles in a law abiding and safe manner in the Kyle area on RM 150 this morning when a driver in a Wimberley Towing truck passed us. It should be noted that we were as close to the curb as possible; if we moved any closer to the curb, we would have been in the gutter. When the driver passed us, he or she came within inches of striking us. Wimberley Towing's driver was so careless and so impatient that he or she nearly seriously injured or killed three cyclists who were riding their bikes in a safe and law abiding manner. This towing company will never receive any of my business, even if I am stranded in the middle of no where and Wimberley Towing is the only towing company available. I will make sure to pass my experience to my friends, family, and fellow cyclists so they can also see the recklessness of such a careless driver who should be driving with the utmost professionalism. I am very disappointed in such behavior and hope that such actions are corrected as quickly as possible. read more
