I called this towing company to help me tow my car to a mechanic for a broken wheel, and in the process the driver damaged my vehicle to the point where my car wouldn't turn on anymore (it was working fine before, ONLY my wheel was damaged). Afterwards, I received a quote stating the damages I sustained are between $6K-$9K to fix. I called the owner to let him know what had happened, and he yelled at me the entire time, stating he understood the driver had made a mistake, but they would only cover my bumper damage and nothing else. He refused to give his full name and was very rude, although I was kind and only asked for help. All I asked was if we could file a claim through his insurance because they cover these incidents, and he refused to help or provide insurance info. Very rude owner! I would not use these people if they were the last towing company in Austin. They took my vehicle to the wrong place tried to justify why the did, by saying if you put the address in manual it'll take you somewhere else, that was a lie. Then I had to call 3 days in a row to get it relocated to the correct location. When they finally dropped it off it was after hours no one was there and i didn't even get a text or call confirming anything not to mention the 3x I called someone said they would call me back each time and no one did. I mean literally a bunch of idiots. Then to top it all off ive never seen someone so interested in what was in the car. He went through everything, thought that there was nothing in there, but when the car was finally dropped off at the collision center he had went through all of my stuff, everything console, dash compartment, he found my husband's bank account information and tried to buy tickets in Las Vegas. I'd give 1 star, but not available. Simple, called Geice for a flatbed tow. Waited as they indicated for over an hour. Driver with flatbed drives by, does not even slow down, I wave and flash my lights. Thinking he is looking around, wait 2-3mins. Called tow service. Got informed "We called, Geico called, no answer, tow was cancelled, call back Geico". Very rude person in the phone. Obviously they have too much business to have customer service, or to even try to think outside the box... like maybe stop and at least roll the window down?? The tow company reported that the call DLA? Guess that means I left, and the vehicle was gone?? If you have a choice, choose someone else. Good service is remembered long after a bad experience. Bad service makes the experience unforgettable. When in the emergency auto service industry, remember, we are not vehicles calling, but people, with real life issues. My car stalled out and used my car insurance Roadside Assistance and Hector came to the rescue! They open at 7am and i put in the roadside request around 6:30am so the response time was great for the situation and I didn't mind having to wait til they opened at 7am to get a dispatcher out. Hector was polite, quick, thorough, and careful. He reassured where we were dropping the car off and is also a great driver and keeps his truck clean! We had the best experience with Hector giving the unfortunate situation we were placed in. If i could I would request Hector whenever any car needs to be towed. read more

Geico suggested K&S, they took between 1 & 2 hours to get to us, but decided not to tow the car because it was not advisable to bring their truck down the lane to get to us [ground was too soft]. Totally understandable, but the service was downright rude and disrespectful. Obviously we didn't get ourselves into this situation on purpose [and can't estimate a driveway length accurately in yards, sorry!], there is no need to belittle us and make us feel even worse in a stressful situation. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Women be aware with this company. My battery died so I called my insurance company who sent them out. They had to jump my car 3 times since it wasn't being done correctly. He wanted to tow my car and once he learned i didn't need that he started to leave. I asked for the technician to please stay for 10 minutes to make sure I didn't need a 4th jump. He said no he had other more important customers and I could call back my insurance company and he would come back later. Not only were they willing to take my money and not complete the job they were hired to do, they were willing to leave me stranded without know if my car was fixed unless I wanted to get it towed. Geico arranged for K&S to send the flatbed to pick up my sick little girl who flamed out on 360. K&S kept me posted on arrival updates, which included a delay. The driver showed up early from the revised time which was lovely. The drivers was very polite & knew his stuff. He knew exactly where to find the tow hook in my Porsche (great because I didn't) & had my car on the flatbed in minutes. And he got her to her destination quickly. No one wants to need a tow truck. Our 2009 Toyota Prius lost power and was at a parking lot needing a tow to our house about 7 miles away. On a Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m. I called K&S towing and they promised to be there within an hour and arrived on time. Mando was our tow guy and he provided very good customer service. The quality of the truck was outstanding. He had a very nice and modern flatbed tow truck. He hooked up the chain to pull the Prius in the right place. Unbeknownst to me there is an tow hook on the front bumper that has a pop out cover. The price for the tow $35 less than the first towing company I called. Would definitely use them again. read more

Damien (truck operator) went out of his way to ensure my car (lowered with a front bumper lip, side skirts and rear diffuser) was safely loaded up and even went so far as to text me pictures during the unloading process (since I was not at the shop) to let me know the car arrived. So I'm giving it a 3 just because Geico said that it was gonna be an hour and he showed up less than 30 min later. Now I see geico uses them quiet often. My driver said 3 sentences to me from the time he picked us up to the time he dropped off my car and us at the dealership tonight. Now I get he was just getting to bed when he got my call, so I would be a little grumpy too..BUT tows happen at all times of the day. I didn't find it very professional on the music that he had playing. It's not that I haven't heard it before but when you have customers in your truck either turn it down or find another station. And my last complaint is that when he dropped it at the dealership, knowing I can't get it to drive long enough to even get it off of the overpass and having cops push my car down off the over pass for safety, he didn't even try to straighten my car out. It wasn't the biggest parking lot ever but it looked like there was enough room for him to park my car properly and still be able to get out. So I hope the Ford Dealership isn't upset that I'm parked like an a**. I tried to straighten it and couldn't keep it running long enough too. read more

I have gotten super lucky with my Geicio roadside and been matched up with K & S every time. Armando "Mando" kills it and gets the tow done fast and worry free. When they pull up I know my car is in good hands. July 4th , Easter (while raining) any time they can get there and help get your frustrating day by making it go by faster is the best customer service one can ask for. If I ever have to get towed again (fingers crossed I don't) I hope I get matched with K & S through Geico. I got Towing K&S service through GEICO. When I requested the service, I got 90 min open window. I was like... I thought the towing trucks are very responsive?! Anyway, so I waited. After 90 minutes, I didn't get any update or call from the K&S, so I called the dispatcher center to get some updates. After 15 minutes, the truck driver called me and picked up my truck. I think getting it loaded took maybe up to 5 min? It was very quick and professional. Then, he dropped my truck at an auto shop while driving it very carefully and professionally. Had a pick up time for towing 90 minutes out. I had to call them 7 minutes prior to pick up just to find they were going to add an additional 45 minutes to the time frame. Got hung up on as I was trying to get the tow time adjust. Got a call from Geico saying K&S was informed I wanted the tow cancelled, when that wasn't the case at all.
