Super fun place to find your dance shoes. I appreciated the fact that they had a great range of selection from styles to gender to price range. Great customer service. Fun to shop read more

Update: 1. Black shoe - I returned to store where they glued the bottoms. Will see how long this hold up 2 beige shoe- replaced by another pair- this time they recommended silk instead of leather Haven't work either one yet so will update if I have another comment 3. Third pair that I didn't complain about - unfortunately I am seeing tears in the fabric on the sized and need to glue the bottom after just a couple of months as it's starting to come apart as well but too late to go back to the store with this I guess read more

The employees aren't the most knowledgeable when it comes to dance shoes and sizing, so I would say make sure to talk to your dance instructor or a dance friend to get advice on what to look for in the fit and shoe. I will say all the employees were extremely helpful to the best of their ability and even stayed open late as I was trying on shoes. read more

This place has the most dance shoes I've seen! The selection is so big, they have a warehouse attached to the store front. Leticia was the sales woman who helped me. She was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed to make a decision and spent almost two hours in there. I went in thinking I wanted a specific type of shoe but after trying them on I felt like my toes were sliding out. With her recommendation of the "1620 satin heel" and trying it on I had a change of mind. I really love this shoe because it hugs the front of my foot without squishing my toes. She even recommend punching extra holes on the front buckles so over time you can tighten them if they become loose. (Which the other sales lady did for me in a couple of minutes). I can no longer wear high heels so it's a bonus that it came in a 1.3inch Cuban heel. Make sure you take a coupon with you because I was able to buy one and get one free which made it such a great value. So I got the same shoe in black and added more holes to the front buckles as well. They also have a good selection of metatarsal cushions which I purchased for both shoes for added comfort. There's so many options to choose from and you can even customize your own shoes. Definitely worth checking out in person if you can. Plenty of free parking! read more

Beautiful selection of shoes. If you're a first time customer you can search for a coupon.

I first purchased a pair of dancing shoes online. As it didn't meet my expectation, I contacted them and they agreed to exchange for me. As I also discovered I was living close to their location, I also request to extend my exchange time to save my shipping fee. So far, their customer service was pretty good. They have a very big office with large variety of choices besides shoes, they do have dancing costumes. As for shoes, it's hard to buy the right size unless we could try them on. They do have pre-owned shoes at a discounted price. My new ones really fit me good now. read more

I should have posted earlier. I went there on July 17 at 4:30 pm, yes before they close because traffic was bad and I needed dance shoes for that night. My dance shoes strap broke. All gratefulness is for Mai, her patience and helpfulness made everything happen and with the most positive attitude. I ended up buying 3 pairs. Yes I am set for a while. And I danced all night. Oh forgot to mention that their prices are reasonable. They always have deals. read more

I'm a beginning dancer who has tried to buy dancing shoes on Amazon. While Amazon shoes are cheaper ($30 versus the $108 that I spent), the sizing is off. My non-dancing shoe size is 5, and I just found out that my dancing shoe size is 4.5!!! I wouldn't have known that had I not come here. I came in around 9:30 am on a Friday and stayed for an hour trying on different pairs of shoes. Anne was very very helpful and patient! I literally did not know what I wanted or what to look for because these are my first pair of dancing shoes and I just started learning salsa again post-quarantine, so I was overwhelmed with all the styles and choices! Anne suggested a narrower open toe design to keep my feet from slipping out of the shoe, and we determined 2.5 and a satin shoe was more ~fitting~ (ba-dum-tss) for me. So...I walked out with completely different shoes than I envisioned but they were more comfortable, fit well, and were still cute! I have a salsa night tonight, so I'm excited to try! I will report back on the quality of the shoes after a few nights out dancing! read more

I love this store! I went there to make sure I found a pair of shoes! I was literally there for two hours trying on so many pairs of shoes! The girls working there were so amazing and so patient with me! In the end I ended up getting these amazing shoes because they were wide enough for my feet and it was buy one get one free! I got two pairs of shoes for $96 and some change! One of the shoes was on back order for 90 days so the black pair I got lower heels however they are still cute! I recommend you go here for Salsa shoes ! read more

Their quality seems to have worsened over the years. I bought a new pair of Very Fine dance shoes sometime last year, and was very excited because they looked exactly the same as a pair I had bought years ago (also Very Fine brand, but at a different shoe store), which were very good. Unfortunately, I ended up never using them until about a month ago, and, to my surprise, the shoes broke that first time I used them. Also, when I started dancing on them, I realized that the support wasn't as good as the previous pair. Very disappointing. Service, however, was good. read more

Beautiful shoes and great customer service. However, last year, I bought a pair of shoes that are falling apart. Whatever the straps are coated with are peeling off. I'm not sure if that will affect the strap breaking off. I have worn them maybe 5 times. They aren't cheap. I'm very disappointed. read more

I wish I liked this place and the shoes, but unfortunately I don't. I was looking for flats or low heels, and I finally found a pair that looked good and felt the most comfortable out of all the others I tried on. I walked and danced around in them for a few minutes. All the other pairs plus the ones I was just browsing was just terrible quality, and even the fabric on some shoes in their clearance section were falling apart. Unfortunately after I wore them for a practice session at a studio for an hour, the top of both my 4th toes got scraped pretty badly and they're painful so I have to put Neosporin and Band-Aids on them, in addition to my left heel and left side of my foot. It kind of hurts to even have them covered up and wear regular sneakers. I bought these shoes for $108.90, and for a similar price I think I could have bought a pair of GFranco's, Sway'd, or Burju and not have my feet cut up badly. read more

Very efficient and happy experience :) Came in to exchange two pairs of Latin Dance shoes which I ordered online. I had ordered according to my street shoe size (7.5), but I'm very glad I came in to try these on instead of by mail, because I ended up getting one pair in 6.5 and the other in size 7. Staff were very quick and efficient, and were accommodating of my weird feet. Excited to take my new babies out dancing! These shoes are definitely the best quality shoes I've tried so far (vs Capezio and Bloch). The suede is super thick and durable, which is great because I run through my suede within 3 weeks with other shoes Still TBD how long the suede will last, but I'm optimistic! read more

Salseras and Bachateras, REJOICE! Same for the men. The greater LA/OC area actually has a real store for us! It's a week before Halloween and desperately needed something new. There aren't too many photos on Yelp, and website did not have pricing, so what do you do? You just go straight to the source - right here! Building looks like a warehouse, but the magic begins when you go through the glass doors. Their ad says they have over 300 different styles and 500k in stock, hence the warehouse building look. That is a lot more than any other store I've been to. And the best part, you get to try them on, walk around in it, mirrors everywhere so you can see your twinkle toes. Here's the real best part - they have shoes that look normal and sexy! Because let's face it, the whole rhinestone and bling thing, so 70's. I love bachata and salsa, but I hated the ugly heels and bling that I see most other stores carry. But if that's what you're looking for, they have those, too. Displays are arranged by heel height. They have flats, 1, 2, 2.5, and 3 inch. They might have had some higher but I probably didn't try those. They also do custom orders. Isn't that amazing!? Huh, almost forgot about Service. Excellent. I picked out 7 pairs to narrow it down. I was in there an hour. No salesman pressure, no stinky eyes, no impatient grumble when I asked for my size, and they were friendly in giving me tips. Honestly, I haven't been this excited being in a shoe store, Nordstrom included. If my son didn't limit me to buying just 1 pair, I would have walked out with at least 4. But alas, I got a Buy 1, Get 1 Free offer. Looks like I kept my promise... read more

This place holds its reputation as one of the best dance stores in LA. I must have tried on 20 pairs of shoes before deciding on two. The saleswomen were very kind, patient, and moved quickly. I was in and out of the store in an hour, which is pretty good considering their immense selection of shoes. They offered to put extra holes into my straps which, as a result, made them fit better. VERY bad experience with my first order. The buckle of the dance shoes come undone every time I practice with them. I have followed the buckle instructions and they are at their tightest function. Rest assured, that as things are opening back up, Very Fine Dance shoes is as alive and thriving as ever! I called first and the gentleman was very nice and since I asked, he even texted me a coupon! When I arrived, I had to ring the bell, and once inside, was amazed at the selection and styles of ladies /and mens Latin Dance Shoes they have! They still have their discount $25 bins (Wow!) (the condition varys, but definitely some nice ones to be found), as well as walls and aisles full of heels and practice shoes of all styles, colors etc. It was SO fun to be inside there, comfy benches and red carpets with lots of mirrors and you are able to try everything on. The ladies were helpful getting the shoe and heel sizes of the ones I liked, and in the end they gave me a nice discount as I ended up buying...ah-em, 10 pairs! Haha. I couldn't help myself, I've been cooped up too long and these will help me get back in the groove! Thank you Very Fine! Also, don't forget your heel protectors! read more

I'm currently taking dance lessons for my wedding and while I intend on wearing my 4" stiletto heels, I need to learn how to comfortably and properly make my steps without the added anxiety of fearing I'll fall over as I learn. My instructor recommended I practice with at least some heel height to get used to it a little, but suggested I get a pair of latin dance shoes if I could for practicing at home and for our lessons. Now, I wasn't trying to spend an additional $100 on top of our already pricy wedding budget. She recommended Very Fine Dance shoes to us and I went yesterday for a clearance pair of only $25! Also, as I purchased, the cashier made it a point to show me why the pair of shoes were on clearance as they are final sale. There were some minor scuffs on the strap that I didn't even notice. I thought it was great that they disclosed this and I didn't mind this at all since they'll be practice/beater shoes anyway. I originally was going to do the lazy thing and buy some shoes off amazon for $60-80. Still not what I wanted to pay for a pair of shoes I'll never wear after the wedding, but it was great to research shoes from this brand, JUST in case I make the decision to wear these for the rest of the wedding night as a backup. To my surprise, *every* pair that I found online that were nude/ivory/wedding color friendly were on clearance at the store! It was worth going to although I hesitated since it was a little out of the way for us. There's also a BOGO free coupon on the internet, just in case you don't like the styles that are on clearance. Most of the shoes that aren't on sale seem to be within the $90-$100 range, so to get 2 pairs for about $50 each is still a pretty good steal considering that is still less than other vendors on the internet for a single pair. So DO NOT buy shoes online and come here for better value! read more

My first review. Bought two pairs of shoes today Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Three stars for good customer service, professional environment, and exceptional variety of dance shoes. An extra star for doing something extra - gave a discount without having to haggle. One star withheld for poor air conditioning on a truly hot day. Maybe I'm a bit critical but a five star rating should mean a perfect experience. Overall, a great place to purchase dance shoes! read more

I got 2 pairs of salsa heels, buy one get one free! I've been to a discount dance supply but it's nothing compared to Very Fine Dance shoes! I love how there were so many styles and different heights to choose from, AND they had my size. It was great to know that in any style I choose my Size 10 would be there, especially because they have more shoes in the backroom! The staff were very helpful and helped me with fitting my shoe properly. They seemed very happy to help the customers in the store. I'm not sure what the name of the lady was that helped me, but she was asian and probably older than 50, she helped me get the shoes I needed and I purchased a shoe brush and 2 pairs of heel protectors from her. And she gave me a free shoe brush cover, so sweet! I appreciate that she made sure my heels fit properly, how she put the heels protector on both pairs of my heels and gave me a free shoe brush protector. I would definitely recommend this place to all the salseros I know and would go back again when I need more salsa shoes! read more
