We went here for our kids, 10, 10, and 12 to rock climb. We were met by Easton, the owner and his sons. He took our kids up to climb and repel down 3 different rock formations. He was awesome with the kids! He was patient, a great teacher, and a great all around person. Had we known about this gem earlier we would have booked the kayaking trip with him as well to experience the Dells on a more up close and personal experience. If you come to visit the Dells book something with them, it is completely worth the money and time. read more

I came to the dells for my birthday weekend, and wanted to do zip-lining.There was a few other like hotels that you can go zip-lining at, but for me VI was convenient option. The whole experience was very close and personal. Our guides Alex and Dwayne were the SHIT.(excuse my language) Just two real ass people doing something that they loved with a smile on their faces the whole time. Thank you two for being so patient with me and saving my ass multiple times because I am not the not as fit as I once was. It was a great wholesome time and I like the fact that you can upgrade to another part of the course if you're confident in your zip-lining skills. Amazing Guides! Harry and Evan were amazing! We went on the 1:00 pm zip lining adventure on a very very hot day. Despite the sun, heat and nervous seven year old we brought with us they were so friendly, helpful, patient and energetic. It was out first time zip lining and we felt so prepared and safe with all of their instruction and assistance. Our daughter thought she wanted to do this ahead of time despite my explaining to her that maybe she's a little young she watched the video online and still wanted to do it. Of course we got up there and she went down the first couple lines and got upset and scared. Harry and Evan jumped right in and were so fun and patient with her. We even have pictures of her smiling! Thank you so much for making this a great adventure and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to the Dells. read more

By far one of the best things we have done on vacation. As a family of 5 ranging with kids from 11-20 years, we all had a blast together. Evan and Gabe were fantastic guides. We went for zipline. Justin and Mika(sorry not sure if I spelled right ) were our tour guys. It was a windy day. They brought extra costs and gloves for us in case anyone might need it. Justin was such a great photographer ! He knew that we all wanted to capture our moment while zip-lining . So he tried his best capturing every precious moment for us . He took pictures whether he was as hanging on the cable or giving instruction, etc. I was really scared at the beginning, but with their presence, I felt secured. You know they will try their best to protect you and reach out to you wherever you are . I highly recommend anyone who is interested in zipline would choose to come to them ! They gave us free cd with all the photos inside. I will come back in summer ! read more

So glad we were talked into going here. The zip lining was amazing. Our instructor Justin really put us at ease when we started out which helped us have a great time! We enjoyed going tree to tree and seeing new sites! What an awesome experience with the snow frosted trees! Be prepared with gloves though! My husband and I completed peak 1--14 line Eco-Tour and a hike throughout the beautiful Chimney Rock Park, and it was phenomenal! Matt and Elizabeth were our guides and did a great job teaching us how to zip line, took pictures throughout the course, and even showed us how to do tricks and kept us safe. The zip lining course was set up nicely through woods and we had great views of Fridnship lake Canyon. Definitely will be coming back! read more

I had such a great time rock climbing this weekend. Our guide was great dealing with my group of rather inexperienced climbers. We were able to climb a relatively easy cliff and a more challenging face. Next month, we plan to come back to do a rock climb and either a kayak or treetop zip line excursion. read more

We had an awesome winter adventure on the Zipline for our anniversary! Bri was an excellent guide and made us feel safe and comfortable. The course is set up so you have plenty of time to learn skills during short runs to start. The longer runs let you get going fast and have some great views. It was a blast! With weather in the 30s - we were very comfortable in winter coats, hats and the helmets and gloves provided. When booking, keep in mind that the ziplining is actually about a half hour drive one-way from the facility- esp if you have other plans afterward as we did. At the end, we were excited to receive many pictures from the day and for no extra charge no less! We're planning to come back again to see how the views change in the season. read more

The team knows what they are doing and they have their own land that they use for zip lining and rock climbing so we took our girls back the next day to rock climb as well. It was the highlight of our trip! This isn't zip lining over a parking lot or rock climbing on a fake wall / this is the real deal but also appropriate and safe for beginners! Awesome! Did the zip line thing and had a total blast. Nothing like zip lining through the trees. Easton (I think) was our guide. His love for nature, the area and his interest in the native- american history of the region really comes through as he guides you through the course. He makes it easy and exciting. My bro-in-law and I balked at the price but upon completion of the tour, were glad we did it and would gladly do it again. Well worth the trip to the Dells and well worth the money. Initially, there was a slight snag with the schedule; on their end, but it was handled and we got going at our scheduled time; hence the four stars instead of five. We have a zip line out here in Vegas( Boulder City, actually) but I am not so sure I want to even try it after doing the Vertical Illusion lines. Definitely recommended. read more

The guides were very personal and they love what they do. The owner started the business from scratch and loves what he does and provides. Took the family zip lining and had an amazing time. Micah and Kailey were our guides and they were great, especially considering a thunderstorm rolled in halfway into our trip... I have a eight and ten year old and both guides were patient and made sure the kids were comfortable and well informed on every line. The views were beautiful and the thunderstorm and pouring rain added to the memory. We did Peak 1 and 2. There's about a twenty minute hike through forest to get to the top of the peak. All lines run through the forest with many views or the surrounding lakes... They also include a free thumb drive full of pics. read more

Very fun experience! Considering I don't even like to climb a ladder! My boyfriend and I took the plunge...the $120 plunge and did the 1st peak. Preparing for the experience we decided to go on a wild goose chase to find a Go Pro near Wisconsin Dells so that we could capture the experience and share it with everyone else!! What better way to break in a Go Pro than to take it with Zip Lining. Long story short, we weren't allowed to bring it nor any camera. I almost gave it 3 stars because of it but the guides with us were pretty cool, calm and relaxed, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time, so I gave it the extra star. Supposedly the owners won't allow Go Pros. Which if you're following the safety rules so tightly as they say you guys do then there should be no problems with bringing your own camera to capture your experience. I'm sorry, the 30 photo snap shots given to us at the end, just don't do justice. read more

I took my six year old Chandler for the rock wall climbing. HE LOVED IT. The guides were Riana and Micah. You guys were so patient with Chandler. He was afraid when he got up a little high but you guys were the best , Riana you were backing up on the rope to give him more room and Micah you were on top watching and taking pictures. GIving Chandler a pep talk to keep going. You guys ending up taking him to another spot and that was great. Thank you guys sooo much for giving him a great time. We had an amazing time! This is the best zip lining course you will find. We had the pleasure of having the owner be our guide and he is one cool dude! We couldn't go on the tour at their standard times, but they made it work so we could go a little later in the day. They were more than accommodating. They are very educated and passionate about what they do. They really make sure that you have a great time and they also take pictures for you to capture the awesomeness. The views on the course of Peak 1 are breath taking, and Peak 2 is even better. We decided in the middle of the course that we wanted to go on to Peak 2, and were so glad we did! Safety is a huge priority for me and I felt so safe while out there on the course while having a blast at the same time. You won't get any views like this with any of the cheap cookie cutter zip lining tours in the Dells where you just zip from one metal platform to the next. With this tour, you will be swinging through the trees and seeing some amazing views....so don't skimp out....pay just a tad extra and go to Vertical Illusions.
