This place is WAY COOL! I want to go as far as saying that this place is one of the coolest attractions at the Dells. There are 4 levels, and my favorite has to be the water element level. This place is loaded with beautiful art based on the level you are in. A truly beautiful place that has hidden compartments and spectacular art work with a great storyline. You will never be bored here, every time you play you see something you didn't notice before. Pro Tip: A) Wear comfortable shoes! When finding clues you will have to visit multiple levels so you are moving around a lot. It's also best to bring snacks for younger children (there is a place to buy food inside but it's snack options). B) Plan your time wisely. If you are with a group, your family or even by yourself...you only have two hrs with your tablet to figure out quests. This is actually not enough time if you miss a clue. You can buy time, but you have to travel downstairs each time which is tiring and also wastes time when you reach the earth and air elements. I advise playing first, then taking photos later (you'll be tempted to take photos trust me). The faster you finish the quests the better the payout. (You can get coins to get a % off at the store or you can also trade coins to get free stickers) Overall, this is a great place for groups, couples, or small families. It's about 30.00 per person to play and is well worth visiting the Dells.

I didn't participate in Wizard Quest itself but it looks amazing. I stumbled into their shop accidentally from the back route and you're transported to another time. I was especially impressed with their quill purchasing options, as well as inkwells. I'd forgotten my wallet in my hotel room and it was probably a good thing or I'd have probably bought $500 worth of stuff. They have adorable fairy garden stuff and wizard cloaks as well.

This place was really cool! We went on a Monday and it was kind of busy. There were so many rooms spanning multiple floors. The quests were engaging and fun! My kids loved it. We recommend for anyone looking for something fun to do. It lasted about 2 hours.

It is not inexpensive ($30/pp for adults or kids above 9, and really, this is best for kids in a 9-18 age range) but it is WAY worth it, you get more than enough fun for that. Bring people who are willing to move athletically -- you are going to be crawling through tunnels, going through narrow stairwells, and dashing repeatedly from floor to floor to get the quests done. This CAN be done by someone who's in a wheelchair or mobility limited, but there is no chance of completing most quests on your own. Think of it as an escape room, but huge and broken into mini-quests. Don't assume you will just be there for 2 hours. First, if you play well and make use of the shop function (there's a turtle who will sell you things, he's in the water realm, and just like any good RPG you can sell him useless stuff you are carrying), you can easily get 30-60 minutes of additional game time. There are a number of magic objects that add time. Second, there's a pause function, and if you are spending more than a few minutes searching for "where is this tiny person in this realm?", ask the staff 'wizard' to pause you, take the 10-15min you need to find the thing, then unpause. He's only ever about 2min away from wherever you're searching, so it's a good efficient use of your time. We would never have completed the quests in 2 hours without that little bit of help. (And also useful if you have to hydrate or use the restroom.) The quests themselves all have the same mechanic -- go here, talk to this person, find that thing, now carry it over here. Classic RPG fetch quests. Most involve searching for hidden objects or people. BUT, the setting is so immersive, and there is so much to see, and so many little hiddens, that none of them bore you. Our only regret is that sometimes we didn't realize that we were about to take an action that would get us the "bad" ending for a quest where we inadvertently harmed someone. We ended up a bit more chaotic than we planned. Some quests do benefit from a very involved adult. For instance, there was one involving searching for "Farrison Hord" that definitely was easier because I could flashback to my misspent youth of the 80s. Or the one where you were decoding the lyrics to a song by "Siren and Barnacle". But, assuming you are an adult who likes escape rooms, you'll love this. A flashlight (like on your phone) is also necessary in many cases. Some thigns involve finding objects in very dark dioramas. But, both I and my 2 kids (8yo and 12yo) agreed we are coming back. They say they're going to alter quests to create replayability, so if we're here in a year or so, we're questing again!

What to do in the Dells when it's raining? Find an indoor activity, like Wizard Quest! Teams consist of the group you came with. Each group gets a Kindle-like tablet to guide them on the various quests. There are four main areas, Water, Fire, Air, and Earth. Pick an area and go to one of the displays, select the quest, and get clues to solve the situation. Quests are challenging combinations of puzzles, stories, and adventures. Admission gets each team two hours to complete their quests. My group did four, one in each area, during the time period. It was tough trying to navigate the areas, because maps are not provided, and locations are found through trial and error. One area that was essential to completing a quest was closed off for repairs, with only a small sign divulging crucial info. All told, this is a fun activity for gamers and non-gamers alike, but beware, there is a lot of walking and many stairs to navigate through the quests!

My husband, three year old son and I really enjoyed our visit to wizard quest. There is lots to see here, and plenty of things for both adults and young children to do. You get two hours to wander through and complete quests to aquire points. However for us it was less about completing the quests and more about exploring the environments and admiring all the hard work and imagination that went into this place. We had plenty of fun here, but the price tag is a bit steep in my opinion.

At first I didn't think all that much of this wooden coaster but after a ride I was like wow that was fun! During my ride I can see that Zeus has recently been retracked in several areas making for a solid fun quick and just smooth ride! This was a super fun and enjoyable coaster that's perfect for all ages so get the kids on it as you can just tell it's just that fun! This is definitely the second best coaster in the park next to Hades360 but this is more or less your standard wooden coaster of awesomeness! Overall this was a great ride and it took me by surprise with how much I enjoyed it so much so that I got about 4 rides on it! It's with that I hope that I can come back to ride again soon because this was a super fun coaster!

LIGHTNING STRIKES THRICE…read more Zeus was the 3rd CCI woodie to appear at Mt Olympus Theme Park and has the highest coaster stats of the original Grecian trio (the other two being the smaller Pegasus and mid-sized Cyclops). At 90ft tall and 60mph, Zeus bears decent stats for a wooden coaster and has much more oomph than you'd think at first glance. The track is 2,900 feet in length but only delivers a ride time of 1 minute 25 seconds, since the train absolutely FLIES through the course. No trim brakes, no slow downs. As with all the other coasters here, Zeus runs a single train operation. From the lefthand turn after the lift to the station brakes, this thing runs full tilt. There's enough negative G's to satisfy even the most airtime-thirsty riders, and forceful lateral G's absolutely SLAM you in turns. It has the potential to be unpleasantly painful, so watch out. Trains use individual ratcheting lapbars and a shared seatbelt with seat dividers. Like its coaster brethren Pegasus and Cyclops, the boxy PTC trains aren't the most comfortable and offer little protection from the unusually intense out-and-back experience. With regards to front row vs back row, I cannot comment on the former due to the unnaturally long waits associated with these damn 1-train ops. But I can say that the rear of the train provides ample negative G's and a thoroughly rough ride.....but in a good way. __________ Well, that just about wraps it up for me and this trip to Mt Olympus. Hopefully y'all enjoyed reading my ride reviews this year; this marks my 40th roller coaster review in 2016, which matches my combined total from 2014 & 2015. 2017 will hopefully see many more thrills + chills + spills for yours truly, since I moments ago purchased a gold pass for the Six Flags parks (hey, it was on sale for $64.99). I'll look to knock out another 40 coasters next year at Magic Mountain, New England, and possibly Hotlanta. So until next time...... Put those hands up...... And keep on ridin'.

But this time around, it was certain, I was going to do something EXTREME! Day 1: My party and I get there and we watch some videos and my boyfriend decides to take the jump. I dont think i have ever been so scared. Fearing he was going to die. Thankfully he made it out alive and we left. He was telling me how some of the workers have never even bungie jumped. Thats comforting lol. Day 2: I decided, i'm bungie jumping no matter what. I'm pumped and we get there and I'm just telling my self good thoughts. My friend went first and then myself. I get strapped up and lifted up. And am i getting lifted up in this cage i am just thinking "what the hell am i doing" the worker tries to comfort me and he was doing a damn good job. Kudos to him! Finally we get to the top and he opens the cage. He tells me " have your feet half way off the ledge and hold on to each side of the cage. then you are going to put your hands together in front of you and im going to push your ass off" so when i tried to let go of the cage i got freaked out and immediately grabbed back on. The worker said he got me and pushed. I dont think i have ever screamed so hard in my life. But it was amazing. And I will be doing it again.
