Staff was nice and friendly. The girl got is our clubs and we were ready to play. Ok first it's off season. So the fun stuff was turn off for the season. We played the drs course as the black was closed and blue wAs the easy course. The black was closed she did say why. So we choose red. It was a good course. Lots of ups and downs. Did look like they need to spring clean the course a little bit. I am sure by summer it will be all ready to go.

Great place to enjoy a round of mini golf. The courses are designed well and the equipment is in good shape. I really liked the variety of different scenery and obstacles available, including stairs, bridge, barn, and water wheel. With 3 courses available and discounts for subsequent games, this really provides a great deal for anyone looking to enjoy some mini-golf.

We were walking along Broadway when we spied what appeared to be miniature golf in a forested area. Mini golf IN the forest? Yes. To be clear, it's not remote. It's right off the main drag in the Dells and so the sounds of the bustle of Broadway can be heard. But, it is most definitely in an amazing forested area. Completely shaded, the course roams through the pines. It's hands down one of my favorite miniature golf (or, as my family calls it, putt-putt) spots of all time. There are three courses you can try (easy, medium, difficult). We went for the medium, which was great for our group (adults and a teen). Next time, I might even go for difficult. Nice to know there's fun options for small kiddos as well! Get to it!

As far as mini golf goes it was pretty good. Not a lot of interactive moving displays or walkways. Lots of stairs. Challenging holes. They offer 3 difficulties on the courses. We chose the medium. Each had 18 holes. We played with 3 children ages 7, 9, and 11. They all enjoyed it as did we. It took about an hour to play through. It's right on the water which is neat. Clean and friendly.

Like mini golf? Awesome! Timber Falls has you covered! Like amusement parks? They have you covered too! However, make sure you call ahead during the off-season. As we were really disappointed to find out that none of the theme parks or coasters were functional. I saw no mention of this on their website or anything. I'm a bit glad that all of the other things were closed, though. Their credit card and debit card machine is down (and according to the cashier, has been down for over a month), so they were only accepting cash. Which was only announced by a hand-written sign on the countertop. The Mini Golf itself is pretty neat. There are three different 18-hole courses to go through. One is beginner-level, one is medium-level (and offers scenic views of the river), and the third offers the hardest difficulty with lots of stairs. The beginner-level course is designed to be compatible with strollers as well - while other courses may not be. We ended up doing the medium-level course, and it wasn't kidding around. Most of the pars for the holes were 2 or 3, but they were designed to be hard. While there were no moving objects to deal with, but there were a lot of elevation changes. With the hilly terrain around here, it actually was relatively challenging. There were even holes that temporarily moved the ball to a new location on a different level of elevation. The course does a great job of directing you to the appropriate next spot as well. The course was in decent condition. Spiders around and some of the concrete was cracked, but nothing was super bad. However, there were quite a few wasps around the initial cashier booth. We had to avoid four on our way to just get to the course. Staff was...pretty bored. It was pretty clear that they were bored of their job, and since their job mostly just consisted of sitting in a spot and selling mini golf tickets, I can understand why. That being said, she wasn't rude. She seemed pretty nonplussed by the entire "cashiering" experience. ALSO, we got....bonus chickens. It was really weird. There were chickens all over the green. I guess they regularly get out of the "petting zoo" pen because the girl at the front desk was entirely unconcerned when we told her. They were actively walking around on the green, and it definitely added an...odd and unique experience to our mini golf attempting to golf around them. This is a decent mini golf place. It'd probably be a 3-star, but getting to play mini golf around chickens and the difficulty of the course (plus the ability to choose the difficulty) bumped it up into a four-star experience. Note: Trying to save money? In the 2015 season, look in coupon books to find a "Buy One, Get Another Round for $2" coupon. As one round was $8, it makes it $10 for 18 holes of Miniature Golf. That's totally reasonable.

This ride is in the parking lot of Timber Falls Adventure Park. I give it four stars, because if I were into thrill rides, I would say you get your money's worth. I have been on this bad boy once and once was enough for me! So if anyone sees my husband looking on wistfully, please go on this with him because I have retired. You sit, harnessed into your seat and are lifted 160 feet into the air going around and around at 60mph. If this is your thang, by all means do it. I could see Jesus from the top of this crazy ride.

So it begins........

Great putt putt courses. Beautiful landscape, and a nice little petting zoo. Greens could have been a bit cleaner but overall a great place.

The mini golf is pretty average, but it's included in the day pass so you might as well get your moneys worth!

We had to walk almost 10mins just to get to the door. Once inside, the lockers were easy to navigate and for $15 (small one) it wasn't overly bad. The wave pool wasn't too bad. The waves came crashing for 5mins probably and it was a lot of fun. The only thing that I didn't like was how hot the water became later in the afternoon. It just made it less enjoyable when it is 95 degrees outside. The lazy river seems shorter than I remembered. It was okay, but definitely not too deep because I found myself scraping up against the floor. They do have a lot of water slides, which is nice because there is a nice variety for everyone. They even have a little tadpole section for younger children that may not want to do waterslides but can still play with the water and a shorter slide. The food was outlandishly priced, but I guess that's too be expected (kind of). Paying $12 for a regular funnel cake, $8 for a pineapple soft serve, and almost $5 for a bottle water was kinda crazy. The tickets getting in are already expensive plus $15 for the locker and $25 for general parking that spending that much more on food is just a bit much. Lastly, you can tell the water park is a bit dated since they made limited updates since I've been here as a teen.

We just got back from a fantastic family trip to Kalahari, and it truly is a "park once and forget…read moreyour car" kind of place. If you're looking for convenience, this is it. There is a massive selection of water slides both inside and outside. Even in the middle of winter, the indoor waterpark is kept at a very comfortable 84 degrees, so you never feel that "shiver" when you get out of the water. They do provide towels at the park, but it's a "check-out" system. If you are staying at the resort, it's free using your wristband, but you must return them before you leave the waterpark area for the day or you will be charged. The RFID wristbands are a game changer. They serve as your room key, your park pass, and your wallet. It's incredibly convenient to be cash-free--you can just tap to pay for lunch, drinks, or arcade games. A word of caution: definitely keep an eye on your tab! Because everything is a simple "tap" away, the spending can add up incredibly fast. It's easy to lose track of the total until checkout. Yikes! You honestly don't even need to leave the resort. We loved that everything is connected internally--no walking outside in the Wisconsin weather required. * Tom Foolerys & Movies: There's a direct hallway that leads you right to the indoor theme park and the cinema. * Dining: There are several restaurants right there in that same connected area. They are definitely on the pricey side, but the convenience makes up for the price. Even though you don't need to leave, the resort is in a perfect spot right off the interstate. There's a gas station immediately nearby, which is super handy for a quick pit stop on your way out of town. Overall, a 5-star experience for family fun and pure convenience. Just watch those wristband swipes!

I drive by this place all the time when I am in the dells, and have always wanted to go in there…read morebut was always afraid. But this time around, it was certain, I was going to do something EXTREME! Day 1: My party and I get there and we watch some videos and my boyfriend decides to take the jump. I dont think i have ever been so scared. Fearing he was going to die. Thankfully he made it out alive and we left. He was telling me how some of the workers have never even bungie jumped. Thats comforting lol. Day 2: I decided, i'm bungie jumping no matter what. I'm pumped and we get there and I'm just telling my self good thoughts. My friend went first and then myself. I get strapped up and lifted up. And am i getting lifted up in this cage i am just thinking "what the hell am i doing" the worker tries to comfort me and he was doing a damn good job. Kudos to him! Finally we get to the top and he opens the cage. He tells me " have your feet half way off the ledge and hold on to each side of the cage. then you are going to put your hands together in front of you and im going to push your ass off" so when i tried to let go of the cage i got freaked out and immediately grabbed back on. The worker said he got me and pushed. I dont think i have ever screamed so hard in my life. But it was amazing. And I will be doing it again.
