    Natural Canyon rock? (My guess)

Amazing, I really appreciate Ava, might be the best instructor, driver, and comedian, and I'm saying "might" since I haven't seen any other drivers.

This is my first time in a long time on one of these historic vehicles. They have an ample parking lot, which is free, for you to park and when you first arrive, you either buy your tickets or pick up your tickets that you purchased on-line at the ticket booth. They have a little tiki bar with bar seating and tables and chairs that is located right outside of the souvenir shop and zipline equipment shed that offers tropical frozen drinks and kid's slushies in souvenir cups. You can hang out there before or after your tour. I hung out there before I got in the line for the duck. This is their most flexible ride when it comes to scheduling. They had one leaving at least every 30 minutes when I was there. The ride is on a WWII ear amphibious duck vessel. The tour lasts about 30 minutes or so. Our tour guide, Audra, was very informative, friendly and had an awesome sense of humor. You could tell that this was not her first rodeo. You get a little bit of a history lesson during the tour and go from land to water, to land, to water, and end up on land thankfully. To be more specific they take you across one of the rivers on their property on a road, into a larger river, past a beach, under a bridge, and back on land where you then return to base. The seats are a bit cramped, worse than an old school bus. Even though you are in and out of the water, you should not get wet. I must admit that even with the awesome entertainment and wit provided by Audra, it was not a very exciting excursion and I found it kind of boring near the end. When you get off of your duck, they will offer to sell you some photos that they took of you against a green screen before you got in line to start your tour. There is no pressure to buy the pictures and you can just leave. I would suggest having some cash available to tip your guide if you so choose. The guide/driver also sells post cards and duck whistles at the end of the tour that kind of doubles as a tip, as well. All-in all, something neat, unique and different to do. This company is top notch and offers bundles with some of their other attractions including zip lining, jet boat, and ropes course. Even though I found it a bit sleepy, my little and I have another memory that will last us a life time.

This place was great. The duck tour surprised us with how great it was. The guide was funny and informative, and the sights were beautiful. My son and I did the ropes course. It was fun and challenging. You get two hours but we were smoked after an hour.

Great opportunity to tour the Dells, Lake Delton, and Wisconsin river in a unique vehicle. The abililty to take great landscape and nature photos is worth the price of the tour alone. The guide on my tour was very knowledgeable and hilarious -- as well as helpful with answering questions and helping with pictures.

$4 - and totally worth it!

If you are going on the Army Ducks, I sure hope you get Duff as your tour guide! This guy is hilarious! He sure made the trip fun for the adults and kids, too. I was not really looking forward to it, but his personality and choice of music made it. You will not get wet on this tour. Make sure to purchase the duck whistle calls on the tour, they are not available in the gift shop.

We had a blast with Tygh as our driver. Mom and dad were entertained by the fun and historic facts and comic relief while our toddler LOVED the splash downs! Highly recommended while you're in the Dells and ask for Tygh.

Rock you can Kayak though...watch out for spiders & bears.

We decided to take our boat tour of the Wisconsin Dells from the original boat company…read more Emma was our tour guide and delivered lots of good information (along with many corny jokes)! Chris was our Captain. I had visited the Wisconsin Dells with my family when I was a child. We often camped up in that area because it was so beautiful. The Wisconsin Dells are still a wonderful area to explore. We would encourage anyone who has the ability to go ahead and get on a boat tour. You won't regret it.

The…read moretour takes you along the beautiful Wisconsin River where you can see the famous rock formations of the Wisconsin Dells. Pictures really don't do it justice -- the cliffs and sandstone formations are much more impressive in person. The tour is about 2 hours long and includes two stops where you get off the boat to explore. One stop is at Witches Gulch where you walk through a narrow, mossy canyon that feels almost magical, and the other is Stand Rock where you can see one of the Dells' most famous rock formations up close. The guides did a great job sharing the history of the area, including how parts of the Dells were preserved from developers, which is why the scenery still looks so natural today. Overall it was a really relaxing and enjoyable tour. The views, the history, and being out on the river made it well worth it. Definitely recommend if you're visiting the Dells!

We went to rent three WaveRunners with our group of friends. Outside, they had new WaveRunners…read moreavailable, but they gave us the older ones. When I asked why, they gave a ridiculous excuse, saying they couldn't give us the new ones because we were a group, and they would only give them to solo riders. Despite the illogical reasoning, we took the older ones without causing any issues and started riding. Ten minutes before the end, I was swapping the passenger behind me with another friend. Both of us stopped, and there was a distance of about 4 meters between us. The friend behind me jumped into the water and went to the other WaveRunner. Just at that moment, one of the employees was coming towards me at high speed. Unable to control his speed, he tried to veer to the right to avoid hitting me head-on but ended up colliding with me. The 16-year-old employee said we needed to return to the shore, so we did. He told everyone that I had hit him, even though myself and two friends witnessed the incident. I explained the situation, and two female managers came. Surprisingly, both of them accused me, as if they had witnessed the whole thing. Their only argument was that we shouldn't have been that close. I understood that point, but their employee shouldn't have approached me with such speed and shouldn't have hit me. Despite my efforts to explain, they blamed me unjustly. Then, another employee on the shore, who was more than 200 meters away from the incident, claimed to have seen me hitting the employee. This was an obvious lie and deception. Later, the girl at the reception inside the establishment claimed that I had asked her a question: "What happens in case of an accident?" I asked her to show the footage because I knew I hadn't asked her anything like that, but she said she didn't have the authority to access the cameras. When I got home, I saw that they had charged $1030 to my credit card. This is a robbery, a lie, and a slander. I strongly advise staying away from this place. I will do everything I can to get my money back. The document I signed does mention that I will be liable for any damages to the WaveRunner I rented, but there is no clause stating that their employee can come so close and even collide with me, and I have to pay for their expenses.

We had a bad experience renting a pleasure boat here. We arrived at 8:00 for our 8:00 reservations…read moreand they unlocked the door about 8:03. We filled out the paperwork and were sent to the dock to head out. After we waited 10 minutes, I went back in side to tell hem there was no dock boy yet. She got on the phone and turns out he was a no show for work that morning. After promising someone else would be there soon, we waited until 8:45 and went in to cancel the whole transaction. We may try them again as their facility and boats appeared to be in decent condition, but as others reviews state, they are poorly managed, and don't always provide good customer service. One star.

We had such a wonderful ride on the train today!!…read more The train follows the original 1850s rail bed, through beautiful Wisconsin forest land. If one wants an interior view of local flora & fauna, this is low energy, fantastic way to explore it! Children & adults (esp those who are children at heart!) will thrill at riding the small scale train. We loved watching the engine be turned around on the hand-operated round table. Our favorite part of the visit was the personal attention we received from Conductor Greg! We visited on a late summer Thursday afternoon when the rail was not as busy, and he treated us to a personalized narrated tour of the history of the railway as well as the fauna, flora, & major attractions of the area. Thank you so much, Greg!! All told, this & the Wisconsin Dells Boat Tours were the highlights of our trip! From a nature-loving local's perspective, some other great places to visit: Devil's Lake, Pewit's Nest, Parfrey's Glen, & the Chapel Gorge trail. If one is interested in Native American culture, there are mounds found at Man Mound Park & Kingsley Bend at Devil's Lake.

First visit on 5/25/2024 (Sat), Memorial Day weekend for our family (2 kids, 2 adults)…read more $17 adults $12 kids $14 seniors Expect to spend 1.5 hrs here. The good: - If you have kids up to age 12 yrs old, this is a fun place to visit. You get to ride a mini train with a real steam engine. - The train conductor is very knowledgeable of the train's mechanics and history. He is a wealth of knowledge. - They have a mini train station where one can board, then the train goes towards the woods for 1.5 miles. Then, you stop, and the conductor tells you a bit about the train's history and mechanics. Then, the kids get to help the conductor turn the engine, and you go back to the train station. - They have a toy train where kids can play back at the station. They also have a snack shop (pop corn, donuts, drinks, chips). - most of the staff are volunteers. You could really tell that they are passionate about trains. The needs improvement: - The sign to the entrance is easily missed. Keep a look out for it. - Land terrain is not paved. It is not wheelchair or stroller-friendly. - Not much shade. The kids' play area and tables have no shade at all. Be warned when you come by in the summer months. - The place needs landscaping. Lots of down trees. I understand they may be cleaning up after a storm in the place is run by volunteers. This place can use some TLC from gardeners, horticulture experts, and designers. We hope to go back in the fall when they have their pumpkinfest. I hope the place will be improved by then.
