DO NOT buy anything from this company!!!..They lied to me right from the start!!.. I spent $1200 on a Vertical Door kit for my 2012 Corvette Grand Sport and the kit they sent me DOES NOT FIT Grand Soort, ZO6 or ZR1.!!!! Their kit is for a base midel only... They do not have a kit for the other 3 models.. Their Tech support wanted me to unbolt the oil reservoir tank that was blocking the passenger door hinge installation and jam it into the engine bay and then you self tapping bolts into my sub frame.!!! they lied to me from the start.!! they never told me any type of Fabrication like that was needed... they said easy installation... now they refuse to take the kit back.!!! stay away from these guys... read more

Bought my kit a little over two years ago. Just recently I went to get my shocks replaced. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and right away when I entered I was greeted by friendly employees. Even though my car was not worked on at the scheduled time the waiting room is nice and cozy with A/C at a good temperature. The Coca-Cola vending machine is reasonably priced at $1.25 a bottle but I choose to walk 1/2 to the small shopping center and after 2 1/2 hours my car was ready. The shocks worked perfectly and the squeaky noise I got from opening the door was gone. Nice experience. read more

I purchased the vertical door lambo kit for my 2011 Chevy Camaro. The kit came within a week or so of ordering and I installed the door kit last week. I am a mechanic, however I have never done doors before. The installation process was fairly easy and took approximately 2 days (4-5 hours each day) without assistance. The front bumper and side panels do need to be removed. Everything aligned perfectly and I did not run into any problems during installation. I really like that the kit allows the doors to be open regularly and vertically. The doors open with ease. These are definitely an eyecatcher, as my whole neighborhood came to see the finished product. I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend vertical doors. read more

have their lambo door hinges on my 05 Vette, only 46,000 miles. only 18,000 mile since they did the install, passenger door not used much, but 1 of the pivot 1/4 inch bolts fell out ,door opens all out of wack ,hits fender , only 1 other bolt holding the pivot point to the car,, we will see if they stand behind the product /workmanship /lifetime warranty , will re post after I find out how they respond ,will give it a one star for now, OK,, here is the first up date, talked to Nick at VD, he discussed it with his manager, come to find out they have a updated version of the hinges and will change mine out for the new ones FREE OF CHARGE, now I say that is great customer service and a company standing behind their product and warranty,, good job people, will update after the new install. now, last update, got the new hinges installed ,Nick, Autumn ,Rob [ the owner] are all great, Rob even helped the installer with the install, Nick even bought me lunch, Rob gave me a free T shirt ,car looks great, this company is a family business, Rob believes in customer service. go try them out,, thanks guys read more

I bought the ZLR doors for my C7 corvette from vertical doors. After receiving the unit, I was not able to fix it and the markings were for C6. I doubted that they sent me the wrong unit. After chatting with Nick, he ensured that despite the markings the unit is correct. However, he sent me a different installation instruction which again didn't match with the unit i received. So decided to return the unit and sent him an email. No response to that. So I called him and he indicates he hasn't received my email. But in any case, I am interested in making it work and requested vertical doors install this for me. In case the unit is not correct they can replace with correct one. Note that this would require me to travel close 900miles and stay in hotel etc. He said he will confirm with his management and about the rates for the installation. In the mean time I forwarded him the email again about my return intend in case he has not received. No response from him. Called him again, and he indicated that he will get back on the friday that week where his management will be back. Waited for a few days after the friday too and no response. So I decided to start a dispute over this transition through my credit card company. This time I get a response from him a few days later and with a confirmed date and price for the installation and agree to drive. So I drive, stayed in a hotel, reach the place before the appointment time (as per the request). The person who was installing (Manuel) was a real good guy and easy to work with. As per Nick, I would be getting my car by 2pm. Since I was not getting any update till 12, I reach back and understand that the unit they sent me has a problem and won't fit my car. They had to cut and weld there to make it fit my car. Seems like it will take more time to fix. I wish I was provided this update earlier. Nick gives me a new time of 4pm. So I wait there. In the mean time, Nick brings up the point of the disputed credit card transaction. Even though I didn't get the car back, I decided to call Amex and cancel the dispute as they were fixing my car. I cancelled it and Amex mentioned that the merchant will receive the money in a few days. At this time Nick started impatient and requested that I pay that amount also now despite our arrangement. He was even ready to keep me and my car hostage for a transaction that is already settled through the credit card. At this time the finance team got involved and asked the details and tried to get to the bottom of the issue. Both the ladies were very nice and cordial and tried to understand. They called the credit card company also and got the confirmation that they will be paid. I wish Nick was more trained in handling customer. Probably a novice. Anyways, Finally I got my car at 5:45pm. So, I drove a total of 900 miles (adding those miles to the car), stayed in a hotel (paying that cost), and the had to take leave from my job and took the pain to drive this long and even at night. I requested to compensate me by giving me some discount as a token of appreciation. But Nick was more worried about his staff where they had to work extra hours, that too because of a fault of him. He said he won't give any discounts. Well, I was just happy that I am getting my car back and driving back. About the hinge itself, I am having a mixed opinion. When sitting inside the car you need to close a particular way for it to close properly. Or else it will scratch the door lock area. May be its more about getting used to it. I shall provide an update if I start liking it. The looks of the car is definitely good. But still worried about the usability. read more

Horrible customer service. Polite, tentative and easy to get a hold of on front end (before they get your money). As long as everything goes right you are good to go, if anything goes wrong after you leave; good luck on getting them to make it right. If you can get them on the phone (after several tries) they will politely make promises to make it right but don't hold your breath. Doors installed on 4/1, all was great they were very nice up sold me on some other products gave decent price even bought me lunch since I was there all day. Installer forgot to connect driver side headlight assembly drove home (100 miles away). Called several times got run around even hung up on by receptionist 4 times; finally after persistence of constantly calling back spoke with Danny and Nick next day. Revisiting shop wasn't working out due to my work schedule and they not willing to open on weekend to fix. Finally i got it fixed at the dealer due to being pulled over and warned by local PD. Called again and they agreed to pay for the fix $200, said would put in back on credit card before end of week. Week went by and nothing, called again today 4/19 and got same polite will do today before end of day, and big surprise nothing. Disputing charge with my credit card company now. Stay away from this place. Not honorable people, very disappointing and I will be letting my car club and anyone else that will hear at all car venues I got to that Vertical Doors Inc does not make things right if anything goes wrong. read more
