I have to send a shout out to managers Zach and also Rade for their TLC and incredible help when I traded in my Android for my first ever iPhone. I'm not sure if anyone can quite understand what a monumental task it is to switch phone systems. I was pressured into getting a iPhone by my family and completely overwhelmed in the process because I was afraid of losing from my android phone. My sales person was mediocre at best and Rade, despite being a store manager with sales, not her normal job, showed me kindness and patience, reassuring me that the transition would be smooth and helping me pick out my phone with complete honesty and transparency about the pros and cons. I was already warned that the two systems don't play nice and unfortunately, the transfer process got interrupted for unclear reasons. Rade understood my distress and gave me her personal phone number with instructions to come back to the store where we could spend more time repeating the process. Before her next working day arrived, I was becoming increasingly desperate, and texted her. She communicated my situation to her coworker and fellow manager, Zach then booked a special appointment for me with him. It was wonderful to come into the store and be welcomed by him directly. His employee got started trying to help me, but he was unsuccessful, adding to my angst. Zach dropped everything and took over. He showed so much patience, andkindness while he troubleshooted and investigated. He was polished and professional and unhurried and best of all, he was successful in creating a new transfer process. He told me to leave my phone and go get a bite to eat and then come back, reassuring me that he would personally oversee the transferring process. I came back to my new iPhone ready to go armed with all of my data! We fist bumped and celebrated together, and he told me to come back when I was ready to bring back my old phone. I was so grateful I brought the entire team donuts and he was so touched that I took the time to come back and thank him. Customer service is not dead and I'm grateful for hard-working people like Rade and Zach who truly care about the customer Verizon in Wyomissing is lucky to have them both and I will never go anywhere else. FRAUD. there should be criminal charges brought against this company. I had been paying well over $200 a month for 2 lines for a few years, Finally got good land line internet, and had no need for anything other than simple cell lines. Called in to get my exit pin numbers to leave Verizon and go to Xfinity.. Verizon store empty, Xfinity packed. couldnt finish that night, In an effort to evade changing all data and memory hassles changing companies, i called Verizon, actually signed me up for $ 30 a line for each line after first month of $ 35 for set up etc. renegged on deal, cut my service, because i hadnt paid the $ 200, now they have denied doing it, however, my bank account shows debits for the amounts ($38 incl tax) class action or criminal charges should be filed. read more

Absolutely awful service. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A53 to replace my A50 on 11/13. Once I started using it, I found that the Bluetooth did not work with my car. On 11/15, I went back to the store and was told my car was the problem. I then spent over an hour on the phone with Verizon until they concluded that there was a problem with the phone and authorized an exchange. On 11/17, I exchanged the phone at the store, but soon found out that I had the same Bluetooth problem. After doing research on my own, I found that there is a known problem with the A53 that prevents it's Bluetooth from working properly with some cars. On 11/18, I called Verizon and they told me to go back to the store and trade in my phone for another model of Samsung Galaxy (which would have been more expensive). I went back to this store for the 5th time in a week on 11/19. The store manager treated me like I had done something wrong (all I want is a fully working phone). She refused to exchange the phone or talk to Verizon. She refused to look at or accept messages from the Samsung website documenting the Bluetooth problem. She told me that I had to call Verizon on my own yet again and then proceeded to give me the wrong phone number twice. They also claimed that they are not responsible for defective products that they sold. This is legally incorrect. I should add that I was treated this way after being a Verizon Customer for 17 years and paying for 6 phones and lines. I have not exchanged a phone before now. Interestingly Verizon telephone customer service took full responsibility, was apologetic and has shipped me another model of Samsung Galaxy, which I agreed to pay slightly more for. So, please find another Verizon location to go to. This store clearly does not care about customer service and takes no responsibility for the products they sell. read more

My husband and I usually go to the one near Target in Wyomissing. We never had/have a problem with the store nor any of the employees. The one blonde girl, I think her name stars with a K? I try giving people the benefit of the doubt, but she's always so miserable and rude. My brother came home from NYC and desperately needed to upgrade his phone. The way she treated us and made us feel as humans was completely disrespectful. If you're going to work in customer service, despite what you're going through, don't let your words or actions hurt those who are just looking for help. read more

I stopped in here today with my mother she got a upgrade from her old flip phone from 3G to 4G they gave herba new flip phone. She had to stop at the store because customer service could not help her transfer her phone numbers to the new phone. When we got there they told us oh we are unable to help you here at this store no local store in our locations do that any more I asked them why did they not allow her to get the new iPhone cause she would be interested in that. And the latest commercial stage that any customer knew a customer new present or old is allowed to get the new iPhone on them. She then tells me that commercial is not true it is for certain customers not all customers.. What kind of racket is this Verizon running. Nope, never again. The "manager/supervisor wanna be an important person" is useless, incompetent, and should not be running the store or even a lemonade stand for that matter. When the customer is having an issue while at the store with an upgrade and the customer asks for the employee to call the corporate office support for help should never be told to call yourself. read more

My husband and I needed new phones. So we went into this Verizon store in Wyomissing, PA near Target and there was a long wait which was understandable. I just asked the lady if there were any sales going on and she couldn't give me an answer. She just kept saying that someone would have to pull my account up to check. So we had someone text us when the next rep would be available. When our text came through, we went back to the store and asked the rep what sales they had going on. She pulled up our account and said that we can get $800 off for the phones we wanted to trade in. I then tell her at that point that we would like to go ahead and proceed. She acted like we were an inconvenience to her. She was not very friendly. She said "we don't have any phones in stock and we will have to order them". I said ok then let's order them. She said "no, you have to do it from the Verizon app". I stood there and thought maybe she was going to show me how to do it but no she didn't until I asked her to help me with it. She told me to click on "upgrade" and that was all I had to do. I asked her what we did with the phones we wanted to trade in and she said that a box would come with our new phones to ship our old phones back. So we came home and I looked at my order and it just didn't seem right to me. So I called Verizon today and the gentlemen on the phone was so helpful and he helped me step by step on what to do because he said there was nothing submitted for a trade in and that I had to submit a trade in request to get the amount for the phones. This lady at the store was pretty much trying to rush us out of there. She wasn't paying attention to what I was asking her and making sure that I was clicking the correct things on the app to get the trade in amount. I am not very happy with the Verizon store we walked into and I will make sure I never walk in there again. It's employees like this that make a bad name for companies. My husband and I have been Verizon customers for a long time and this lady should be ashamed of herself for treating a Verizon customer like this. read more

STAY AWAY FROM PAPERMILL STORE!!! Horrible service!! The service tech "G****did not give me return mailing label for trade-in phone or paperwork to do so. They (store) closed a week later for two weeks to comply with company Covid policy. Tried unsuccessfully for two weeks to resolve this issue with Verizon was promised I'd be mailed paperwork/label/extension to trade phone in!!! Bottom line! I Still have trade in phone. Was billed full price for new iPhone. Am in discussion with my lawyer to sue technician and store/franchise owner. It will be a PIA but worth it to me to make the point!!!! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR ANY REASON!!! Went in for a new phone. After they realized I wasn't going to buy a tablet, a HUM, useless insurance, etc the interest in me dropped off dramatically. I stepped out for an errand, when I came back to pick up my new phone, they literally just handed me the bag. I didn't even know how to turn it on. Then I get it home and the genius behind the counter gave me the wrong charging cables. Now I'm going back again today because the same genius behind the counter turned off my caller id. I will drive further and even pay more just to not have to go back to this hole again. Run Run for your life... read more

Employees there just sit around and play on their phones while potential customers come in. Stay away from this place, they are rude and only care about commission. Unless you're buying everything Verizon has to offer and their top tier plan, they won't help you. Tried two get two regular phones there and the rep refused to help me. The manager there let this happen and didn't care. This store should be shutdown. read more

These guys are always helpful and courteous, no matter how busy they are. I've been in there a few times recently as I just switched from T-Mobile to Verizon with a business account at my job. I went in to look at and handle phones and Carlos was a huge help, even though he realized that I wasn't going to be buying anything at the store. Through talking to me, he made the perfect phone recommendation but I didn't believe him. So I ended up with a different phone. I went back to the store after having the phone for a few days because I wasn't happy with the phone. Although I walked in 15 minutes before closing, Jared (Manager) greeted and me, and again with knowing I wasn't going to buying anything was a huge help in exchanging my phone. He also made a phone recommendation, the same Carlos had previously made, based on my preferences. These guys really heard me out and truly understood what I was looking for. I don't know why I keep coming back to this store..always have had problems...Have to wait at least 15 - 20 minutes even during a weekday. Purchased a Zagg phone cover when I purchased my new phone. They installed it and I registered it when I got home (they have a life time warranty) 8 months later it is cracked so I call store and they tell me to go online to order another one since it is lifetime warranty. of course when I go online there are 10 different types so I call store and ask them which one I should order and they tell me which one...I figured since I read what was on my receipt they could help out..well received it in mail and it was wrong one. Instructions when I received it told me to go to store to have employee put it on. I go to store..wait once again...and they tell me Zagg sent me wrong one so they switch it out with one they have in store..but guess what...now I no longer have a lifetime warranty because they gave me no paperwork..So now after about 3 months it becomes damaged I take it back to store and they tell me since I have no paperwork for it I cant register it..so now I am screwed because they never gave me paperwork when they switched it out...What a bunch of idiots..So now I go back to store to BUY another one..so much for the lifetime warranty because I was screwed out of it by this store...and I pay once again for it and the employee gives me the WRONG receipt!!!! So now I cant register it once again!!!..I HATE this store..stay away..I will now drive further just so I don't have to go here!! So much for your customer service Verizon..you totally SUCK!!!!! read more
