Being somewhat computer illiterate, I researched computer repair on my phone and Compucare had all positive reviews with the vast majority being 5 star. There is good reason for that. Eric checked out my laptop in front of me, ruled out some obvious problems and from his experience and knowledge of the manufacturers pointed out from induced symptoms that the problem was the hard drive. He kept me in the loop with many and timely phone calls as to the progress made acquiring the new bigger and better hard drive, Eric made the choice as to which hard drive be my decision. He spent much time making sure all of my data transferred and updated my software. Performed maintenance and operational sweeps with diagnostics. his operation is completely transparent and he worked to keep my bill low. I am one happy camper and I highly recommend Compucare for their professionalism, technical ability, speed of service and helping attitude.

Amidst lies in…read moretheir reply to my Google review (proven via the text and call logs attached) they have accused me of being "angry" because they couldn't get to my PC fast enough. The only reason I was "angry" is because he spoke to me like I was an idiot, claimed he did nothing wrong, claimed 60 degrees celsius was normal, and generally avoided accountability. He has also failed to communicate properly, saying he'd get back to me and never texting back, then becoming passive aggressive when I checked in. Additionally, he searched for my new CPU on Amazon, rather than using Newegg or any other dedicated parts search, and ordered a CPU that would be completely incompatible with my system AND the motherboard he had ordered. If I hadn't caught the incompatibility, I might still be without my PC. Again, I had no issue with the fact that a mistake occurred. In fact I would have been gracious had accountability been taken. It was his communication over the phone on Sunday that led me to take matters into my own hands. No matter who discovered the issue, Compucare Technical Services was blatantly unprofessional and frankly frustrating to deal with on multiple occasions. Additionally, he tried to offer me $100 cash when I said I would be changing my review this morning. And the agreement referenced in his reply states that I must allow them opportunity to rectify the issue before issuing a *credit card chargeback,* which has not happened. CTS has yet again contacted me, despite me specifically asking him not to, and continued to berate me as a result of my review of my bad experience. I will be forever grateful to the wonderful people at Epoch IT. My laptop was hacked and I…read moresearched for computer services and saw Epoch listed. I called and the woman who answered (second ring, by the way, no long drawn-out introduction message) listened patiently and empathetically as I went on, and on, and on, about how embarrassed I was and I knew better, etc. She assured me Epoch would be happy to make it all better. No pressure or hype, just bring the laptop in and Epoch will take care of getting rid of any malicious software that the hackers loaded onto my hard drive. I did that and in less than 24 hours (yes, a little $$$ extra for expedited service) my laptop was clean as a whistle. Matt and Doo Yen were wonderful. So pleasant and patient which is exactly what I needed. This hacking event spurred me on to get a new desktop and Matt came and picked up both the old and the new desktop and brought it back the next day with all of my files loaded onto my new machine. Matt made it easy for me to access all of my files which is amazing if you've ever had to bring all of your files over from an old computer to a new one. I am up and running again (I work part time for a lawyer) and I feel assured my machines are clean and running at peak speed and Epoch turned a very stressful situation into a happy ending. I told them that we could reschedule after the holiday. Much to our surprise, their technician came out and did a wonderful job. Our second was when Larry recommended a new service that was less expensive and had more options. Good stuff going on at Freedom Wireless.

After DROPPING AMC, Sundance and IFC some time back, I've been waiting patiently for Dish to come to some sort of ageement so its customers would be able to get these channels back. Apparently they have PERMANENTLY dropped these channels. The neighborhood that my family lives in cannot get any other service. We are locked into Dish if we want cable or satellite. So now I am going to have to pay to watch Walking Dead. I just paid to watch Breaking Bad as well. Replacing these channels with others that do not even come close to measuring up is unacceptable. I will not only NOT recommend Dish network to any of my friends or colleagues, but when we move I will NEVER return as a Dish customer. I WILL ALSO BE DEDUCTING THE COST OF HAVING TO DOWNLOAD THESE TWO SHOWS BECAUSE OF THIS DECISION. Greedy, corporate nonsense makes me sick. I have been paying for your service for a long time and to have these AWARD WINNING shows unavailable to me because of this greed is absurd and shows just how little Dish cares about its customers. Petitions have been sent to you, complaints filed, thousands of phone calls expressing the need for these channels to return, but obviously money talks and is more important to Dish than customer satisfaction.
