Terrible service. I've been trying to cancel my service for about a month now and have hit every possible road block possible. But this last one tops it. I came into the Verizon store to have my last bill printed so I can take care of my last payment and the lady (didn't get her name printed it out for) once I got home I reviewed the bill and noticed it was not a detailed break down of the bill so I came back in the next day today and was told they could not do it. There were 6 employees in there standing around and 3 out of the 6 told me they could not do it. Mathew the manager said they should have not done it originally and they don't have access. I clearly stated they did because I was just done for me the day prior. Another male employee continued to tell me yeah it's policy there nothing we can do. His words exactly, basically with the attitude as that sucks for you. Kept telling me I can go to corporate. Of course I was upset because it is taking everything in me to get this service canceled and it really should not be that difficult. The part that is most upsetting is the lack of sympathy and customer service. I can understand having a policy etc but the respond I got right off the bat was not "help" or sympathy it was just nope can't do it go here good luck! Horrible customer service. I ordered a phone for Cyber Monday and it took 2 days until they confirmed they had the phone and then once they had it, they sent me a notice that I only had only 24 hours to pick it up...which was impossible for me to just drop everything and do as I was no longer anywhere near the store. Called their phone line twice to request that they would hold onto it longer and keep my phone and plan deal intact. The representative on the first call said that they would and I would get a call back confirming. On the second call I made, after I got a warning of pending cancellation, I was confirmed yet again that everything is fine and they would hold onto it and I would get a call back. Careful when trading in your phone! we traded in my mom's iPhone 13 Pro Max for the 14, and they gave her a ~$1000 "credit" which we didn't really realize what that actually meant (and of course they won't explain it to you and he made it sound like we were getting $1000 off the total of the new phone) but they won't take off $1k from the payoff/total amount left on the new phone, rather they give you tiny credits/discounts every month for 36 months to equal that credit amount and if you want to pay off your phone early then the credits won't apply at all to the toal and will need to pay full amount on your own! Leaving Verizon back to T-Mobile not worth getting tiny discounts when we gave them a nearly new iPhone 13. ¡Cuidado al cambiar tu teléfono por un nuevo! Cambiamos el iPhone 13 Pro Max de mi madre por el 14 y le dieron un "crédito" de ~$1000 que realmente no nos dimos cuenta de lo que eso significaba realmente (y por supuesto no te lo explicarán). Poor customer service. The employees never seem to have a clear answer to any questions or concerns posed. The wait time is always long because the employees would rather stand around and chit chat than help their customers. When you finally do receive help, all the reps here can't even do their basic jobs. I'd rather drive 20 miles to Sacramento than deal with this location. Being at this store felt like I was at some cheap, metro PCS or boost store. P.S last I checked masks were a requirement in Yolo county however apparently this location is exempt from it since none of the employees have masks on. read more

I own Yolo Plumbing, here in Woodland, Ca. And though I'm an excellent plumber, I'm horrible with computers and phones, and most anything considered tech. So I've needed to upgrade our company phones for a couple years now, but I've procrastinated because it gives me so much anxiety thinking about trying to transfer all the information from the multiple phones without losing critical data, so I have put off upgrading the phones for way longer than I should have, because my past experiences have been horrific. But I finally bit the bullet, and went into the Verizon store over by In-N-Out Burger, in Woodland, and I feel like the luckiest man in the world, because the person that helped me was named Alonso, and I swear to you I have never had anybody, so helpful, he was with me from about 2:30 in the afternoon until about 8:30 at night, long after they closed, or helping me get all of the company, phone set up, all the apps that we use downloaded and signed in, he went above and beyond, and I felt so lucky that he was the one that helped me, because most other people in the past have basically just sold me a phone and gave me a 30 second spiel, telling me how easy it is to do it myself, then leaving me (abandoning me), forcing me to suffer through 2 to 3 days of headaches, chaos and late nights trying to get the phones up and running so that I could keep my business on track and not miss the much needed calls. She provided me with an absorbent amount of helpful information and guided me through the process of setting up my new phone. In addition to her commitment to providing excellent service, she even stayed later to ensure everything was ready before she sent me on my way. An experience like this is one I have never had when purchasing a new device. This is a private Verizon location they aren't corporate. I traded in my phone to get credit for a newer model the credit was never received. When asked about it they can never help. They give a print out to call the toll free number. I couldve just kept my old phone now it's shipped off to wherever I'll never get it back. Not only that they totally messed up my account, specifically made sure certain deals and insurances would be canceled at a certain point was told it would, never happened. I normally anticipate waits. But this one made me wait for over an hour when there is only one customer in front of me and two employees were working. This is kind of ridiculous. They try to send me to TJ Max/Target to kill the wait time and say you can put done your number and we'll call you when it is your turn. This is nice. However, with how many people are in front of me and the number of the employees are working, something is wrong and things are not being done efficiently! This may be the worst service I've ever received from a phone retailer. I upgraded my phone on Saturday and was told I would get a $250 dollar credit towards it. What I wasn't told was all the fun stuff that comes after. I wasn't told that I had to upgrade my plan to a more expensive plan; I wasn't told that the 185 dollars I paid on Saturday wouldn't even cover the activation cost of the phone. They said it went towards "Fees and activations" then tried to charge me a $40 activation fee again! My $250 credit has yet to show up on my account; that remains to be see whether I get it or not. When I called them to try and figure out what I had paid for on Saturday, I was told that the 180 I paid was actually a dealer fee that they charge. Would've loved to have known that on Saturday. Safe to say this will be the very last time I ever deal with this company. Bunch of crooks. Wish I could give them 0 stars. read more

This store is absolutely atrocious. My son and I cane in to get his phone fixed. We were in the store for. Lee than 20 minutes. The ONE agent that was there (when I could hear other in the back laughing) not once did he say "hi sorry for the wait, be right with you, nothing!! On top of all that the store looks dirty and half of the products on the floor are in horrible condition. Looks like they haven't been wiped down to some time. I'm not from this town. Fantastic Service. Diana Fernandez is an incredible employee. I watched her as she was helping some very tech challenged people and she was so patient. In the middle of helping them she always let the people who were coming in the store if they had any quick questions because she is was going to be with this couple for a bit. When it came to our turn she was just so great, fixed our problems and had a great attitude. Well worth the wait and we are all set with our new phones. The most absolutely rudest person I have dealt with in a very long time!! He had no understanding of what I was trying to accomplish, even had him talk to my Verizon rep on the phone and proceeded to yell at him telling him he was wrong and did not know what he was talking about even after I had made sure everything was in order before I left to go down there!! I have been with Verizon a very long time, I went down there to help my daughter out and when I went down I brought her a new phone because we were adding her to my account. All we needed to do was to port over her phone # to her new phone. My Verizon Rep here where I live set everything up so I could take advantage of the promotion to switch my daughter over from another carrier which it stated I had 14 days from the time I bought the phone but he kept insisting that I could not get the promotion almost like I needed to buy another phone and do it all again with him. I left there realizing I was not going to get anywhere with this guy and went to Davis and walked in to a Verizon Store by my daughter's school and the two guys were amazing and awesome!! had everything done in 20 minutes, they were polite and willing to help. I wouldnt give this place any stars. We spent 2 hrs there trying to get 1 new phone. There were 2 customers in front of us and 3 behind us. There was one guy working that we thought he knew what he was doing, and there was one trainee. The trainee had to keep interupting the other guy so nothing was getting done. Then another trainee showed up and it got worse as he too had to keep asking questions. Come to find out, the smart guy didnt know all of the answers either. Everytime we asked a question, these 2 guys couldnt answer them. After another 90 minutes went by, another employee showed up. Only to find out, she has only been working for 2 weeks and couldnt figure out how to connect our new phone. We bought a prepay phone, but verizon doesnt sell pre pay phone cards, you have to go to Target to buy the card and activate it. It took them 30 minutes to figure this out. DUH!!! I had a copy on my phone and a Verizon rep provided all the data to the store via phone. Not good enough. I was sent to Sacramento where they printed my receipt from THEIR system and proceeded with my return with no hassle. If Sacramento could print my receipt, why couldn't Woodland? read more

I went to this location wanting to buy a new phone on verizons edge up plan, when I asked the employee about upgrading to an iphone 6 plus however he informed me that I was unable to do so and could only get an Motorola android phone, and only that one kind of phone. I left feeling that that there was just something wrong with that explanation and that I couldn't buy the product I wanted. I went to the best buy in the same shopping center and sure enough they were able to get me a new iphone on the edge plan. It took 30 min and I was satisfied with best buys helpful employees and service. I cannot say that about this location that supposedly sells verizon plans and phones. Verizon wireless.. where do I start. I guess first I would like to say that they are in fact great. As far as having a signal all the time goes. But when it come to the way they do business. Well its just that. They only want money they do not care about customers. I was a Verizon customer for many years with my husband and we have paid them thousands of dollars. Unfortunately we will be leaving them. We have a wireless Internet box through them and cell phones. However the Internet malfunctioned somehow or had a virus. And ran our Internet usage up sky high. Verizon had no interest in helping us as our bill was over a grand. My husband spent hours on the phone and drove all around to different location and not one person at Verizon would help or even look at our Internet box. I don't recomend anyone use there service because I believe that they are a huge scam and are just out to get money. read more
