That was back in 2000. Since then, I've gone thru many individual upgrades of av receivers, dvd recorder/players, even projectors, etc and now, in my 80's, its time for them to come back out and make sense of what I did to their beautiful system. Hope they'll agree to do so, what with new technologies like 4K and region 2 dvd capabilities, I need them to make my new components 'talk' to one another. After consulting with my local High-End Audio Store, I wasn't happy with my Customer Experience, and their complete lack of flexibility on $30,000.00 plus components purchase. I discovered Stereo Barn was not only an Authorized Dealer of the top brands, but could also handle repairs to audio gear that usually needs a return trip to the Manufacturer. After an in-depth consultation, I had some components sent for repair, came to an agreement on a trade-in and ordered several new units. My new equipment was delivered, unpacked and set up. The delivery was a 5-Star experience by a super-friendly Gentleman who took his time, answered every question, and even fixed an annoying issue I was living with, that I couldn't figure out on my own. He then took the almost 100 pounds of packing material and pallet with him. My new system is FLAWLESS, my repaired unit works like new, and the value I received left me with a huge smile. I could not be any more satisfied with my experience here. Repairs/ Trade-ins/ New Equipment, and delivery & setup are THE BEST!!

Great customer service today, so I'm pleased with Best Buy today. Our past is another story. No need to bring up old complaints since many years have passed, but I just don't get paying retail. If there's a deal to be had, I'll find it and have it delivered. Brick and mortar shopping hasn't been my preferred method for shopping for awhile, unless we're talking Apple Store. Haha. Not sure I'll be back for anything any time soon, but it was fun looking at all the new TVs and computers while waiting.

I was also there to buy a gift card for Mother's Day. While purcashing the gift card at Customer Service (which was a 10 minute wait in line), I mentioned to the counter person that I was looking to possibly buy a TV but no staff were around. She basically said "Oh! We are short-staffed" with no real sense of urgency to actually find a sales associate. I said that I will gladly spend my $1K+ elsewhere at a store where they value their customers. Amazing that this store must be doing so well that they literally turned away three customers who were potentially spending in upwards of $500.

The customer service was top tier--everything was explained clearly, they gave me multiple options, and made sure I understood exactly how the system worked before moving forward. No pressure, no confusion, just straight transparency. I had an automatic remote starter installed, and it was fully installed and ready to go within an hour. That alone deserves respect. The work was clean, efficient, and done right. The shop itself is clean and well-organized, and you can tell they operate with integrity. They take pride in their work and it shows. Poptronics did an excellent job with the installing of my sons security system. I did notice after dark fell that there was no security indicator light that flashes just for extra security and another layer of theft deterrent. When i called back up to the shop they were more than happy for my son to bring the car back in to have the light placed in the car which again they did a seamless and excellent job.
