I have had nothing but amazing customer service with this Verizon. The one at the Holyoke mall is absolutely disgusting with how they operate and use high pressure sales tactics to sell you stuff you don't need. Recently had my phone smashed and I got there and someone helped me almost right away. He got me a new iPhone because I had an upgrade available and got $110 for sending in my smashed iPhone. The sales rep really listened to my concerns about money and how I couldn't afford to pay much more than I was paying for my iPhone 8. He really got me a great deal, paying only a few dollars more than I was and I got a great phone in the process. For the customers that wrote bad reviews, you obviously don't understand sales. This is their job. If you don't like it, then just buy your own stuff online and skip the store. If you don't understand how to say "No" to certain things, that's on you. I've been asked to upgrade this and that and do this and buy this screen and blah blah blah but if you know your budget, say no. This is their job. They don't get mad if you don't get the stuff they are trying to sell you. This is my second time getting a phone at this Verizon because it was an emergency and they really do their best to accommodate what you need. Love them! read more

The manager Jesus was so patient helping my 70+ father move from Straighttalk to Verizon with my old AT&T phone that needed to be unlocked. #supercomplicated His new employee Alex was so smart and knew everything about how to transition from other carriers to Verizon. Buying the phone is easy, it's the other stuff that makes it complicated. No lines or (800) numbers needed. Head over to Verizon in the Longmeadow shops. You will be so happy. Listen to the warnings from myself and the other folks and DO NOT waste your time stepping foot in this store. They use high pressure sales tactics and will try to squeeze you for extra money any way they can. They need some serious lessons in customer service. They are affiliated with Verizon, but not an official Verizon store, so you'll be stuck dealing directly with this store and any decisions they make regarding your purchase / contract, so BUYER BEWARE...Much better off shopping elsewhere and taking our collective words of caution to save yourself much frustration. read more

Do not shop here I am not easily scammed but was here. I brought an old phone just for them to help me switch it to my account. They CHANGED the password so it could not be used but told me that it was outdated and just died right there on the spot. Suggested that i purchase a new phone only 75$ paid in full (I remember asking this specific question) Then next bill I have 24 payments until a 599$ phone paid off. Will be calling better business in morning and then verizon directly. I dont believe verizon will keep this place open for long if they have any control over it. Buyer beware!! I went to this store last October after to speaking with one of their reps on the phone regarding a jet pack. I was told they had them in stock so I went down later to get one. I explained emphatically that I did not want a contract due to probably not needing this for an extended period of time. I made this very clear to Jared during my interactions with him at the time. I also explained what I'd be using the device for so this should have been a clue to him as to how much data I would need. Anyhow, I purchased the device trusting that my wishes and needs would be met but this was not the case. First, for some reason Jared couldn't provide me with a receipt on the day of purchase stating the device I purchased was not logged into inventory so they couldn't give me a receipt. It took 3 calls to the store and 6 days to finally get a receipt and it was only then that I realized this sales person had done exactly what I told him not to and that was he put me in a two-year contract. Additionally when I got my first bill I had gone way over the data limit that I had expected to be ok based on my conversation with the sales person. And now since I'm not using the device I am out $175 due to canceling the contract I didn't want in the first place. Suffice to say I'm really not happy with the customer service I received from this store. I've called the store about this on multiple occasions only to be told I'd hear back from someone. That hasn't happened either. All in all this has been a really bad experience with this store. read more

Do not shop at this store if you are purchasing an iphone. The staff is completely unfamiliar with apple products and made no effort even to use or help us use apple support to solve relatively simple problems that they created when purchasing and setting up a new phone. In addition, they are very unprofessional, joking and talking among themselves in the background about how they "won't even go near an iphone" and that they hate apple products. They apparently have not made any effort to learn about apple products at all, so when we tried to trade our old phone in they changed the password accidentally and no one in the store had any idea how to fix it so that the phone could be unlocked and wiped for the trade in. We were in the store for over 2 hours with them trying to set up our new phone, a service which cost us $40. We ended up using the Apple Store App to fix the log in, wipe the phone, and transfer all the content in under 30 minutes once we were home. The staff is friendly but not knowledgeable or professional if you prefer the iphone to android phones. read more

Shysters. Daughter broke my phone. Went in to see about getting a new phone, and the cost involved. Said they were running an early upgrade deal for my model. Since I couldn't send my broken phone in, I'd have to pay the $150 early upgrade fee, which was OK because a new screen for my phone would've cost $180. Did the early upgrade, had to upgrade my plan, which should've wound up being the same as I was paying. Then, they gave me a FREE Ellipsis tablet, which they were giving away with new and upgraded plans. I asked them SEVERAL times, "this tablet doesn't cost anything, right? I mean, when you say free, you mean free, right?" I get my bill a month later... $60 for the FREE tablet, $10 a month for a new line for the tablet, and the early upgrade fee is $199 instead of the $150 they quoted. On top of that, they were promoting a shady Russian movie website to download "free" movies... Obviously copyright questionable. read more
