To be honest, I hate Verizon tech support, they're the slowest, un-comprehensible, useless group of…read moretechs who've never solved any of my phone issues. But, their incompetence is not reflected by the staff at this establishment. There are always ample number of knowledgeable and friendly staff who'll address all of your tech questions to the best of their capabilities. The store is quite large and contains all of the newest technology. Warning though, if the staff does not know the answer to your question, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! I just spent 40 min in the store today while two different assistants tried to solve my back-up issues. The Verizon house staff were very patient with me, and it wasn't their fault. At the end, the Verizon Tech Support people just hung up, and left my issues un-answered....god verizon sucks. ...but, this place is worth looking into if you're not tech savy or if you're interested in seeing all of the new phones. Of course, don't get the accessories here, as you can find much cheaper alternatives online.

Tried calling customer service multiple times, going to my local retail store, all to no avail. The local retail store staff suggested that I try this W. Springfield location as it's a corporate store. So today I stepped in for the first time, and politely asked if I could speak to a manager. A man by the name of "John" claimed he's the manager and asked what I came for. As soon as he realized he's not making any money off of me, his whole approach for the entire 10 minutes or so I was there was deflect and dismiss. The first thing out of his mouth was something like "I can't help you here, you have to call customer service." I politely asked if he could hear my experience not being able to get my phone unlocked by customer service. His response was "you can tell me, but I'm not going to be able to help you." While I understand there might be limitations as to what a store could or could not do to help, it's this person's condescending and dismissive attitude that is unsettling. At one point, he said something to the tune of "why don't you get a new phone." I quickly realized that this person had zero interest in helping, but I still politely asked for his business card, to which he responded "we don't have cards." I then thanked him for his time and left. The entire interaction lasted less than 10 minutes. I have to say, this was one of the most unpleasant experience I've ever had from a customer-facing person. Throughout the interaction, he was disrespectful, dismissive, inpatient, and outright rude. This was the first time I stepped into this store, and I imagine this might be one of the biggest Verizon stores in the area. I don't have experience with other staff in this store, but this first experience with this one person, although short, has left a extremely poor impression. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone I know.

Meet Manny, Avoid Amanda!!!!!!!!!…read more Just as a disclaimer, these 5 stars are ONLY for Manny R. This location used to be a Sprint but it was turned into T Mobile after the acquisition. My family were Sprint customers and wanted to upgrade their phones so we came to this location. We were lucky enough to work with Manny who did everything in his power to find us the best deals and discounts to lower our monthly bill without us even asking. He is a huge credit to T Mobile and I really hope they appreciate him. My family ended up switching from Sprint to T Mobile and upgraded all of their phones with Manny, and he made the entire process super painless and fast. Fast forward to the next day, I actually came back to the store to change my phone because I wasn't happy with it and was unfortunately met by Amanda. She was extremely rude and seemed very uninterested in what I was trying to do. She was very negative and offered no solutions to my problem. It actually seemed like she was trying to get rid of me as soon as possible without helping me, which is maybe not the best approach if you're in customer service. I eventually asked to speak to Manny since I knew he would not only do his job, but would go above and beyond. Amanda provided the worst service I've ever experienced. After my less than stellar interaction with Amanda, Manny is the only reason I will come back here.

AS I suspected there was a $30. upgrade support fee that was NEVER mentioned. I have been a theatre artist and actor for years. I have even taught others how to be authentic. I am sorry, but the no eye contact and the non -sensical answers when I brought up the fact that I was going on 6 hours of working with SPrint now at T mobile to activate a loaner phone. The whispers, the fact that you swapped out my sim card to a mobile one without asking me, when online you are given the choice, then made it sound like you were doing me a favor by not charging me for it. The funny thing is if you had told me there was a one-time $30 fee, I would have still gotten the phone. So try honesty the next time around. Make a customer feel welcomed. Include them in the process. I am now going to figure out how to get my contacts and such off my broken phone with no screen. I asked you about that too, but you basically said I was out of luck. You did give me a free USB adapter thing. It didn't work. The whole vibe in the store is hushed whispers, and one gets the sense that you are being bamboozled and scammed. Cell phone salespeople are the used car salespeople of the 21st century. You should all get greasy polyester suits and finish the homage to that time in the 70's.
