    They are organized. If you show up they try to come out and try to answer all questions and if you need a person. They schedule an appointment or you can wait in line. The only draw back about waiting in line is that it could be 30 minutes or it couple be 2 hour wait. They can not tell you the wait time. But they give you the choice. My first time was great. We must have picked the best time to just show up. We waited in line and got in within 15 minutes. Staff help was great and upbeat.i wish I would have gotten the guys name. He was awesome I guess my only draw back is that they sign you up, take your money, give you your phone and send you on your way. I have never had a cell phone so I did not even know how to make a phone call. That would have been nice for the guy to just show me. It probably would have taken 30. I'm just saying. Help is limited. My 2nd visit was not great. We showed up. Long line. Guy finally came out and tried to answer quick questions. Then he tried to set up appointments. Ours was 7 hours later. Not great. Service was OK but the girl made a point to tell us at the end to make sure we gave her a great review. Anything under a 9 was viewed as bad. Haha. That must be her manager telling her to say this stuff. We went and did the same exact cellphone set up and it doubled in price. This was within a week. Something smelled fishy this go around. I liked our first salesman. Bring him back. We got a way better deal with him helping up. he was professional and printed out all my transactions and the second appt with the girl. We got nothing. Just her telling us to make sure we gave her a good review. How about this Give got service and the same deal on the cell plan like the first guy. I'm still shaking my head about the big price difference . I felt like I was dealing with a used car sales person and got a bad deal the second time. It should have been better service since we were returning customers. I guess businesses like this just don't care. I would have given them 4 stars if I had only gone in that one time. Now they only get 1 star because something is not right with the price jump

    This was probably the best service ever in a Verizon store. I did everything online, while chatting with a Verizon rep. My order was put through, all I had to do was pick it up. I walked in, it was ready to go. I was out of the store in 5 mins. I mentioned to the worker that this was the best experience with Verizon. He said that this was a recent feature, and was glad I was able to have great service. Good job Verizon, keep it up.

I visited today with my husband to switch service into my name and we were assisted by a really helpful associate named Kelly (a male) with beautiful blue eyes. He really took his time with me and went through all the options since we had to completely shut down my husbands cable and put it in my name. We looked everything up and down and even pulled up YouTube tv to compare their bundles and prices Bc I was considering cutting the chord. It turned out their platinum bundle with gigablast Wi-Fi and cable was gonna be best for me. Kelly was helpful and friendly the whole time and answered all my questions and helped me decide what was going to work for me. He explained to my husband what he's going to have to do with our old equipment and said if he came back with a line just to leave it with him and he'd take care of it. I was pleasantly surprised by this experience and we brought it all home and swapped it ourselves. So far no issues. The inside of this spot is clean and well kept with numbers and couches to wait on and some equipment for purchase and viewing and demonstration. There was no line when we arrived but about 4-5 people waiting by the time we left. Waits can get long but they had 3 employees working so it seemed to go quickly.

I will not bore you with the details of my experience, but instead , I will warn you in summary. The staff is incompetent. They sub out their repair work unless it's insurance or warranty related. They had my sons Xbox unit for 2 weeks, and after 3 phone calls ( 2 of which they thought my item was a phone) and finally visiting the store, they advised me it was repaired, but at a subbed out repair shop 10 miles away. Upon pickup. I was told the repair was completed the next day. The owner, Jason, had nothing but excuses and complaints about his incompetent staff, along with the simplest inability to even update me on my repair until I showed up in the store.     This AT&T Store is located in the Red Mill Walk Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. The place is…read morepretty easy to spot from Upton Dr. as it's on the end cap of that shopping center. My visit here was on August 31, 2025. The exterior of the business is pretty easy to see. One thing to note is that they are an AT&T Authorized Retailer, but don't directly work for AT&T (think of it more like a franchise). Once you come inside, you can see that the place is pretty big. They have areas to speak with associates, as well as info throughout on what they have to offer. My reason for coming in was to turn in old phones as I had just switched to them. It would take a while to speak with an associate there, as there was only one available at the time of my visit, and there were others waiting too. While waiting quite a while, I went around and checked out the inside of the store, but it ended up taking about 20 minutes before I was finally able speak to the associate about the reason for my visit. There was an error on the paperwork for the phones to trade in, so that's why I came in. This is so I could ensure the right info was being sent to them for the phone trades. She said that because they are just an authorized retailer, they can't make those changes, so I would have to go to an AT&T owned location over at Town Center (which they told me this could have been done there). I did feel a bit rushed in the end because they were busy with one associate only. Overall, this wasn't the best visit I have had at any phone company store. Hopefully in the future it will be staffed better for the volume of customers that come into the business. Depending on what I need to do in the future, I may just end up taking the longer trip up to their Town Center location.

I called in the other day again to check in and the associate was rude and protective of manager info to escalate. The manager left and went to another store. This has been a nightmare and still not resolved. Something nefarious is going on. Warning-do not use this store.

The store was not busy when I arrived, and a representative named Derrick (or Derek) assisted me, hope I get his name right or else it may irate him more! Right away, the interaction started off poorly. When I told him I wasn't sure which iPhone model I had, without asking for permission, he abruptly took my phone from my hand and began tapping through it. I found this incredibly rude, it's basic customer service to ask before handling someone's personal device. He told me the screen protector wasn't in stock and would need to be ordered and shipped to my home. I was fine with that. Then he asked for the phone number associated with the account. I gave him the number we've always used for the past 20 years, our primary line. He said it didn't come up and asked for a different number, which did pull up the account. I expressed surprise, since we've always used the original number as the main line for our account. Instead of helping me understand the change or looking into it, he insisted (with an irritated tone) that the second number is the primary number, that it can't be changed, and that calling customer service would be a waste of time. He spoke to me in a condescending tone, repeatedly interrupting me, talking over me, and making me feel like I was stupid or didn't know what I was talking about, all this in front of my 12-year-old niece. At one point, I had to raise my hand and repeatedly say "okay" just to get him to stop. He then rushed me to fill out personal info, didn't explain anything about when to expect the delivery, and refused to give me a receipt, saying they "don't give receipts" anymore. When I asked again, just to be sure I wouldn't get charged, he bluntly said no. As I was walking away, he loudly said (so everyone could hear), "That's why you gave your email to get the tracking info," to which I responded, "I know what tracking information is." I left the store feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and frustrated. I understand he may not earn a commission on a warranty replacement, but that does not justify the dismissive and unprofessional treatment I received. I'm a long-time T-Mobile customer for nearly 20 years and this experience left me feeling like that loyalty meant nothing.
