The delivery date and time has changed a total of 4 times. On the other hand, the device that was shipped UPS was delivered at the exact estimated time and date. My experience in the store has been stellar both times, but I wish companies would let us choose our own delivery services. I would pay extra to ship with UPS.

During the transaction, the employee informed me that purchasing iPhone insurance was required under a "new AT&T policy" in order to complete the upgrade. I was explicitly told that I had no option to decline the insurance at the time of purchase. I later learned that this statement was false and that device insurance is optional. Additionally, my wireless plan was changed from Starter SL to Extra EL, resulting in an increased monthly charge. This change was made without my informed consent and without disclosure that it was optional or that it would increase my monthly bill. Based on my review of AT&T's published promotion terms, neither the insurance purchase nor the plan upgrade was required to qualify for the device trade-in credits. The next day I received a call from what I presume is the employees personal phone. He told me he wanted to tell me what really happened. He told me he lied to cover up what happened because he was afraid of telling the truth. During the check over of the job the screen slipped forward and tore the wire that allows Face ID to function. He told me he would refund me the additional $60.00 out of his pocket because the shop was "already losing money" and to come in the following Monday, today, 4/29. Today when I went in the employee who broke my phone was not there but the manager was. He told me he was aware of the situation and gave me the money back. He told me it was the employees personal money. The owner was not there and I have yet to hear from him since requesting to speak with him since this occurred on 4/25. I left my phone number to hopefully receive a call back. They broke my phone and will not replace it. The "solution" they offered is to order a new phone and swap the insides of my phone for this one, they quoted $200 for this. Walking in to a nice shop was helpful. The car battery comes with a 2 year warranty where if it won't take a charge anymore, they'll swap it. I put the battery in myself, and the core charge was easily refunded to any card you'd like. The gentleman that helped me was nice, and offered to carry the battery out for me. They also gave me access to wash my hands since I did the battery swap in the lot. I WILL use them again for fair priced batteries, car key copying, and phone repairs in the future.

I brought it back for service under the store one-year repaired product warranty. From the start, the employee was dismissive and refused to honor the warranty, claiming the phone had physical damage and looked like it had been dropped. However, the bezel, display, and back were in pristine condition--no cracks, dents, or scratches whatsoever. No signs of dropping or damage. I asked him to point out the alleged damage, but he refused and just kept repeating that it was "damaged" and would not be repaired under warranty. I then spoke with the manager, who admitted there was in fact no physical damage, but still refused service claiming that screen bleed itself is considered physical damage. When I asked how they could determine the cause without running diagnostics, he simply informed me thats their policy. I requested to see where in the warranty terms it said that screen bleed is excluded, and he admitted he hadn't seen the terms in a long time and that I'd have to go online to find them myself. I took my phone to another nearby uBreakiFix location, where they fixed it immediately--no questions asked. This store's inconsistent warranty policies, lack of transparency, and unwillingness to stand behind their own repairs make it a place I would not trust again. While they did fine with the initial manufacturer warranty repair, it seemed they'd say anything to get out a store warranty repair. I can not recommend this location because they don't seem to care about customer support or honoring their commitments.
