Let me preface this by saying, it's the Verizon Store and I knew what to expect. I am still waiting for one Verizon Store to come along and surprise me one day. By actually giving me prompt service, not having 12 employees in the store and only 5 of them working, not trying to up sell you on products you don't need, and for god sakes just give you what you need in a timely manner. Not too much to ask for. This one was just like all the others; was 4th in line on their check-in, but still had to wait 23 minutes to even be talked too. In that time I saw employees standing there. The iPhone 5 products were all out of stock, not their fault but just added to the bad experience. Driving out of the parking lot I drove by an AT&T, maybe it's time I made the switch... read more

I had a stupid, long, annoyingly complicated billing issue that spanned several months and to which my phone resolution was not satisfactory (to me). I thought maybe I could go in to the store and actually get something done. Through no fault of their own (as I understood and believed from the manager...) their hands are basically tied and only very small amounts of credits are allowed. So, I got a small bit of money back (not the $105 I still believe I'm owed and now know I will NEVER receive), but I was treated kindly, fairly, and quickly (shocking, for a Saturday afternoon). Let me just dogpile on Verizon. Absolutely ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Impossible to talk to anyone. They have done a wonderful job of getting you to run circles trying to resolve even the most minor of issues. Live chat? Hahaha no one will respond. Call the customer service number(if you can find it) get disconnected after being put on hold. Try and find an answer in the app? Sign in even though you've already signed in the last three times you tried finding an answer. Just wasted an hour chasing my tail. This is ridiculous. They have improved and straightened up the place! About a month ago I came into this store and was very disappointed with its customer service, which was very out of character for Verizon in general. About two weeks ago I was in the area and needed a replacement screen, Dillon not only helped me with that he also answered my questions about upgrading, my data service, etc...I recently went back in to make my final decision and noticed that the other representatives in there were also very helpful and patient with the customers. I had a great experience at this Verizon. I had to get off my family plan and switch to my own plan. Kirk was the sales person who helped me. He had a great positive attitude and was happy to answer my many questions. I told Kirk what I was looking for and he found me a great phone plan and New phone. Kirks customer service was so pleasant that I have talked my mom into driving down from north Scottsdale to get her New plan from Kirk. Overall wonderful experience. I was in need of a new phone. I old Iphone was hardly running and the battery died after less than an hour. Went into Verizon at Tempe Marketplace. I was helped by Sid who was fantastic. Even with the covid restrictions in place he was able to help me get a new phone while keeping safe social distancing. Cant speak for this store as a whole, but Sid was really awesome. Now that I have my cellular data turned back on, this store was beyond unhelpful. I came in multiple times within an hour to receive help transferring a phone line to a new carrier, a simple switch (or so you would think). They proceeded to first halfway port my phone and let me leave the store with no way of using my phone at all. When I returned I explained that my mom (the main person on the account) was out of town and had her call the store to explain what needed to be done. Their response was that "your mom is just gonna have to ruin her vacation" and left me with no service once again. I later went to a different verizon and they were able to switch my phone no problem. The employee at the new store also commented on how awfully handled the situation was. He also pointed out that they completely messed up the lines on my account and it will now take more work for them to go in and fix the initial problems caused by the first store. Beware read more

Well let's just start at the beginning. My experience was bad from the start. I walked in and was greeted unfriendly from Indian gentleman who was standing at front door. He asked why I had came in etc. I told him I was looking for 2 Apple phones for a business. He showed me the phones and seemed annoyed that I asked him the difference between phones. He barely explained as I was just supposed to know the answers myself. So I again explained I needed 2 phones and had to ask him how to get process started being that he was just looking at me like I came in for my health. He asked me did I fill out all info on line like it was a requirement before I came. I said no and he started asking the questions about my info as it was annoying him to do "his job". We completed that then he just said ok come back in 3days and we will let you know what we can do. He didn't say bye, thank you, have a good day etc. Very grumpy employee to say the least. Not to judge but it seemed very racist for sure but whatever. Verizon most definitely lost a potential long lasting customer. My colleagues were looking to do Verizon as well, NOT anymore. read more

He did and we got a lovely girl that totally knew exactly what she was doing. We were helped very quickly and got in and out of there in 30 min(that was for 2 of us).I thought that was great! After I damaged my phone, I called Verizon to see if I could order a replacement. The rep set me up with a Motorola G6, and told me to wait 1 hour for the order to process before going to my local Verizon store to go pick it up. I was working that day, and got permission to slip out for a few minutes to pick it up, so I waited two hours just to make sure I wouldn't run into any problems. Of course when I got there, the order hadn't been processed, and no one seemed interested in helping solve the issue. I asked the sales associate Katie, if they could just grab the G6 and get the ball rolling because I had to get back to work. She said no. I asked to speak to the manager. Rebecca, the manager came over, and she also would not do anything without a processed order. I was visibly frustrated because I was going to have to go back to work, and get permission again to leave to pick up the phone. I stormed out of the store, and before the door closed behind me, Katie yelled very sarcastically, "HAVE A GOOD DAY!" I'm sure the scene was all very comical to them. When I got back to work, I called Verizon again, and requested that they let me pick up the phone at a different location, but the rep made a big deal about having to reprocess the order, which still wasn't processed. He assured me, however, that the order would be processed within 5 minutes if I went back to the store. This call literally took a few minutes, which they could have easily offered to do at the store, when they first checked on the order. When I returned to the store, I was assigned another Sales associate, Latrell. I was still upset by my last visit, and I tried to explain to Latrell that I was not satisfied with the treatment I received. I told him the situation including the part about Katie yelling, have a good day, while I was halfway out the door. Latrell said "What's wrong with that?" like it was a perfectly normal thing to say to unhappy customers as they're angrily heading toward the parking lot. At that point I asked to speak to the General Manager of the store. However, Jesse the GM was on a call, which he conveniently was unable to get off of, the entire time I was there to address my concerns. Go figure. Latrell seemed to be late for some important appointment, because he kept looking at his watch the entire time he was "helping" me. I asked him if he had somewhere to go, but he said he was just curious what time it was. Even after purchasing accessories for the phone, Latrell did not seem to think he needed to help me transfer my data from my old phone to the new one. "You have to do that yourself. There are apps for that." he told me. I am not very tech savvy, so I knew this was going to be a struggle. When I got home, I started the laborious task of setting up my apps, and transferring my data, when all of a sudden I was unable to access the keyboard on any app. The phone just displayed a prompt to give it a voice command. The next day, I returned to the store, and was told that the phone was defective, and they needed to ship it back to the factory. Although there was no way to transfer my data from the new defective phone, I did end up working with a sales associate who was finally interested in helping me. Ultimately I got the Pixel 3XL. I think I'm ok with the phone, but overall the service here was abysmal. Verizon should be ashamed to have people like these in customer-facing positions. I know for a fact that if I tried these antics at my job, I would be facing termination, for sure. Here you're treated like a joke. Well I'm not laughing. No wonder this store has only 2.5 stars. read more

I came into this store yesterday because my phone wasn't sending/receiving calls or texts. Kristopher helped me and told me it was probably a bad SIM card. He signed into my account using my phone number. He replaced the SIM card and then called his phone from mine to test it. He then asked "What's your phone number? 808...?" He seemed confused and was looking at my account. I then told him "No, it's 602-xxx-xxxx" Then he was like "Right, right well it works now!" and then I left the store. When I started using my phone, everyone told me my number was coming up as a Hawaiian area code number. (The 808 that he mentioned earlier) I use my phone for business and have my number on a lot of advertising material, so changing my number would be costly. I spoke with customer service, who told me my old number had been deleted and I couldn't get it back. They tried to say it was fraud and that someone hacked my account and changed it. I had to wait until today to speak with a woman in the fraud department, who was actually very helpful (she gets 5 stars for her service) and with the help of her supervisor, got my old number back onto my account. She didn't understand why it had been changed, but didn't think it was fraud. She said it probably happened at the store. She also didn't understand why customer service didn't know how to fix it themselves. I'm glad I got my number back, but am disappointed in the customer service at the store. It was pretty obvious by his behavior and reaction to my phone number that Kristopher knew he had messed something up. He clearly saw that my number coming up on his phone wasn't the same number I told him. He should have owned up to his mistake and fixed it on the spot. I have had bad service at this location before and will not be returning. read more

This is not a five star rating for the store as a whole but for an employee in specific. His name is Latrell. He went above and beyond to help me when the rest of his coworkers were too busy leaning up against the wall, disappearing to the back for over thirty minutes, or giving preference to their friends who had come into the store. I was in the store for over an hour and he was the only one who came up to me asking if I needed help when he was free. Others simply ignored that I was there. His professionalism and patience speaks louder than words. I'm extremely thankful he was willing to pick up the slack of others with a smile on his face. This store is horrible. I've been here twice and each time the reps are incredible rude and extremely unhelpful. My girlfriend recently got an iPhone 7 Plus and she actually went to a completely different store to purchase it because the reps were so lousy. Most recently we had to go to this store to turn in a phone, and the reps unwillingness to be assistive was mind boggling. First, they wouldn't take it without it being powered on, she asked for a cord to charge it, and they wouldn't provide her with one. We wanted to go to another store and leave it there when It charged and their response was, "oh it might get stolen and it won't be our fault." Like seriously? There's 8 of you working in the store with 1 other customer and your really can't take any responsibility or be a kind person and watch it? Pathetic. Finally it charged enough to turn on, we went in to wipe the device, and there was a Restriction Code on the device that she didn't remember. No biggie, not their fault, but the reps knowledge was atrocious. His response was "oh there's nothing you can do. You're gonna have to come back." You work in a top-tier, elite corporate cellular provider store and you have NO OTHER RESOLUTION than to say "oh, there's nothing you can do" and you won't even bother trying to find another solution or option? Incredulous!!!! I logged into Find My iPhone from her phone, hit "Delete Phone" then hit "Remove From Account." BAM! DONE! It was that easy and the Rep either didn't have the knowledge or just didn't care enough to do anything about it. Either way, unacceptable. read more

CHEATERS That's the best way I can describe my experience yesterday at this location. I was upgrading to an iPhone 5 and trading in my iPhone 4. They told me they'd give me $92 dollars for the 4 but I had to put that towards 3 accessories before the remaining balance could be used for the iPhone 5... I called Verizon Customer Support and it was confirmed that this was completely out of policy. The reps at this store were "upselling" me the second I walked in. The guy who was helping me actually brought out a tray of accessories with my new phone that he expected me to buy. I came here with my girlfriend to get 2 new phones. We were helped Promptly by a first person. He said, let me get someone who can help you better,that knows more about what you want. We were given a fabulous girl who helped us both with all of our needs. We got 2 new phones and everything switched over and out the door in less than 30 min. We were very happy and on our way home in no time. Why the 4 stars, when i got home i found my contacts were not put on the new phone. This is the worst Verizon store I have ever been too. Brandon was the worst in customer service. Verizon you have really disappointed me.

I went in to this location about two months ago to upgrade my iPhone 5 to a 5s. I had been to other places getting quotes on how much they would give me for my old iPhone 5 in regards to trade in and Verizon was the highest at 300$ so I decide to upgrade with them. The salesman first tried to sell me on their new Verizon edge plan which is fine I know thats what he is supposed to do, I declined and he then seem uninterested to process my upgrade which led me to believe he wasn't going to make any commission. He then disappeared to the back and said he was getting my phone for me and didn't come back for like 5 minutes. When he finally did come back all he had me do was sign his iPad and then disappeared again into the back to "activate" the phone he said. After about 10 more minutes of waiting he comes back and now my new iPhone is out of the box and he is going through the setup screens! So much for getting to open my own phone up for the first time. (I was actually excited about that by the way) Anyways he then comes back and grabs my old phone, has me erase it and then I decide to ask him about commission. I asked if it was true that he gets less commission on iPhones then Android phones and he tells me that because I was doing a cross upgrade (using someone else's upgrade on my plan but applying it to my line) and then trading in my own phone that he wasn't going to get any commission! Then I understood the poor customer service! I was fine with this figured he just wanted to get me done as quickly as possible and help someone else he was actually going to make money on, no big deal.. Here we are now two months later and I notice on my bill that I have been getting charged a 5.00 navigation fee charge on my bill that was added onto my account the day that I upgraded! What a coincidence! I am sure that he added this plan to my bill to make some sort of commission on the sale.. I now had to be on hold with Verizon for 30 minutes to get this credited back to my account and removed permanently. It is just a shame that I can't even trust the Verizon Sales people at this location anymore... This is just terrible customer service and as I type this I am on hold with the store waiting to talk to someone to give them this feedback so it hopefully won't happen to anyone else. I have been with Verizon for over 10 years and I almost always get great customer service but NEVER from this location. I go out of my way to avoid this store if I can. Best Buy had a deal on the phone I wanted but they were having trouble transfering my phone number when they were redoing my contract. I went across the street to Verizon and they told me there was nothing they could do...no suggestions...nothing. Their only suggestion was that I purchase the phone through them which was $90 more and she said they couldn't match their price. I asked her if I went to T-mobile & signed a new contract with them if I could keep my same number. She said, "I believe so." My response..."Merry Christmas" and I walked out. I went back to Best Buy and they were able to get Verizon on the phone and get it all worked out but seriously? ZERO customer service at this place. read more

They have a total of 6 employees here and one isn't doing anything! They said there is a recall on there note 7 today so there is a delay in the wait. Not helpful at all. The wait was ridiculously long, and after we finally got to speak with someone, the rep was rude. We were within a week of the upgrade date, and he was smug about the fact he couldn't let us upgrade a couple days early. He kept trying to sell us on the Edge program, which would ultimately double the price of the phone. Bad customer service and bad salesman. We left and went to Go Wireless. They upgraded us and were super friendly. I'd recommend them instead. read more

I purchased a Google pixel on an upgrade 1 week ago and came with two other devices including VR head set. I've since been in 3 times regarding shipping address of VR head set and they said the sales rep who sold me the head set would call me back, which she never did. The sale reps have been nothing but condescending and just frankly don't care about their customers after the sale is made. it's fine if the rebate on the headset is over, just have the courtesy to call me and say you made a mistake. I should not have to come in three times and say someone will call me only to have that call never come. read more

So I recently had to go to's Verizon store to get my iPhone upgraded. I had called this store around 10am to see if they had an iPhone 6 plus and they did. I left work to purchase my new phone, trade in my other phone, and purchase some accessories. I need to be back to work as soon as possible and Pasha (Verizon rep) was able to take care of all of this in less than 20 min. Service was amazing, he really cared about my time, and made the whole transaction remarkably smooth. Would definitely go back to this Verizon store and ask for Pasha. read more
