Cell phone providers are the new used car salesmen. They lie about prices, add extras without consent, downplay fees/taxes, and you spend an eternity in the store. If I could give this store a 0 star, I would. Back in May we went in for new phones due to upgrades available. In the midst of that, the act manager Tarek Rida overheard we owned a business and told us about Verizon business and how it would "save us money" switching to a business account. Tarek added 2 extra lines to our account without our knowledge that we have been paying for months. After talking with customer service, (which I have all phone calls recorded) they stated this is fraud and he's been doing this. They said they could refund us credits from the amount we have been paying over the months but first had to go back to the store to have Tarek remove the lines and note in the account we may be refunded. This is because our account had been switched to a business account by him and only he could access to change things that customer service could not do. Went up to the store multiple times he wasn't there. Finally yesterday my husband went up again and Tarek was there. He said "he couldn't remove the lines" ?!! I went up today to have our account switched back to a regular account rather than business because it's been nothing but issues. Tarek got very hostile with me, said "I'm not doing that and I'm not helping you" and got up and walked away. He created fraud activity and refused to fix it. The police were called the the store today and a report against him has been made along with the fraud department with Verizon against him. Also have contacted my attorney and will be taking this matter against him farther. For any future Verizon customers avoid this location but especially Tarek Rida at all costs!! Also check your bills, do not fall for any scams in store when they tell you they can save you money, and never just hand over your devices to them. He added lines and an app on my children's iPads without us knowing and they've been receiving spam texts and calls and inappropriate messages ever since. We still are having trouble getting these lines removed and switching back to a regular consumer account from business. read more

i switched to Verizon from AT&T. This was the BIGGEST mistake i have ever made. At this point they have stolen my phone and i have never received the promo price I was offered. I've talked to 6 people and the phone spent HOURS, and also chatted online and still no one has solved my issue. Coming into the store with a lawyer is my next option. read more

This is the worst Verizon outlet I've ever visited. How management could possibly allow the store to remain with its current supervision is beyond me. All you have to do is read all of the reviews that have preceded mine to know how awful the service is here. Today I waited on the phone with a customer service rep by the name of Sherry for an hour. This was probably the worst costumer service I've ever had. Beside waiting to be helped as they stood around talking. Then having them change are family plan and not telling us. Too bad I didn't read all the lousy one star reviews BEFORE I went. I walked into Verizon to get their plan options available so I can get rid of the company I can't stand which is as we all know, AT&T. I had Verizon once before and I left them because they got too big for their britches. And I see that hasn't changed. I walked in and wandered about --eventually the manager with the beard checked me in and said there was only one person ahead of me and I knew who that was because I saw her come in right in front of me so I continue to walk around and wait and look and watch. I saw a 2nd gentlemen watching too and he had the same "foonja" face that I did. So as I was watching, manager number two, I guess, came walking through the center of the store to check in some more people that were walking in --he got stopped by someone and he asked if he was checked in and he said I just need help with something so he stopped what he was doing went over and helped this gentleman talk about what he needed and what he was going to buy and got him through the checkout took him to the kiosk and so forth and took care of him fully. I kept watch --yet another man interrupted him while he was on his way to the door, helped him as well so how was I next in line when two people went ahead of me so what's the point of checking in? I left. When I got home my phone rang and they said we're ready for you and I gave them this exact scenario over the phone and I said I'm done!!! So we can't depend on AT&T and I see Verizon can't be depended upon either, so where do we get our cell phone plan that we can live with and afford as senior citizens? read more

I went to this Verizon location looking to upgrade my phone. Alexander was the employee that the que put me with. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND HIM. Head down to Best Buy, right down the street from a much more pleasant experience! Alex asked what he could help me with today, which I replied a new one upgrade. After looking over the account he said I could save $20 by adding and iPad- I politely replied no thanks not today- as no one on the plan has use for an iPad. He said quite obnoxiously "okay if you don't want to save money" ... no Alex I didn't. Not for an iPad contact! As the interaction continued and the more I said no to bundles and accessories- it seem the more arrogant he became. He kept repeating okay if you don't want to save money!! ... Save yourself the trip- head on down to Bestbuy.. they can do the same things there! read more

I stopped in tonight just to purchase a phone charger. No one greeted me upon my arrival. I selected my charger and then stood waiting for one of the customer service persons to assist me. I eventually sat down to wait. After about ten min it occurred to me that Best Buy was 2 min away and had chargers as well. I replaced the charger and was walking out the door when one of the customer service persons asked me if I had been signed in yet. I laughed and said I just wanted to buy a charger and your the first person to even speak to me. And it's while I'm walking out the door. Wasn't crowded at all. I'm going to avoid if at all possible. I tried calling three times to see if they had a certain type of headphones, but no one ever picked up. Ironic for a phone company. I then went to the store and had to wait ten minutes to get an answer to a simple yes/no question. Not my first poor customer experience at that store. read more

We have been here 4 times today... for a total of 4 hours in the store and a total time of 8 hours dealing with multiple issues. I had to tell them which plans they offered and which worked out to be cheapest. They couldn't get the phone to login to Google. They gave us the wrong version phone. They sent us on a wild goose chase to find the rebate form. We are still not done. I did the same thing several months ago in a different Verizon store in under 30 minutes and only one trip. They did not apologize and they have not offered anything to compensate us. This is the worst retail experience I have had. read more

One Star is a lot! This is a store really sucks, with lines out the door. They have no management system set up to organize traffic of customers. Best way to deal is to know you will wait at least one hour to get assistance, and let's hope you will have a chair to sit! Avoiding this place unless I have no other option! read more

Terrible waited 1 and 1/2 hours before getting waited on, while employees wandered around store and went into the back room. Only one employee waiting on people after first hour 3 more emerged from back room. Finally got waited on. All the guy wanted to do is get me to upgrade my phone and service. Not why I went to the store. Finally bought a new phone. Now after paying $30.00 for to activate my new phone I no longer have text messaging. Had to call Verizon was told text was turned off during activation, they turned it back on. Won't be back to that store. read more

Rude with a condescending demeanor. It was very obvious the person I went in to speak with about my problem could care less. Conned me into purchasing two Hums in order to get a discount on THREE brand new phones! Found out later this was NOT a stipulation for the promotion. Now I'm stuck with two Hum devices for two years, something I do not need or want and which caused electrical problems in my car. I've since taken it out and car is fine. Please research before plugging one of these in your car!!!! I was scammed by this store after giving them my business of three lines on a family plan and three brand new phones. I just bought the S20, had to purchase online. When I went to add a phone case they only had 1 option so I sent the phone order through figured I'd get the case when I picked up, or call and see their options at Verizon. First off Verizon didn't even answer the phone, they never even called to tell me it was ready for pickup. So I waited 2 days calling the store 2 times a day never getting an answer. When I got fed up and went to the store to see where my $1300 phone was a lady ran out to meet me at my car asking what I needed when I told her I had a pick up she asked if I received a call to come pick up, of course I said no. She asks my name then 15 minutes later a gentleman comes out with a bag asks to see my ID and card I paid with handed me that bag and said bye. I asked him if I could purchase a case for my phone he said not in the store I would have to order online. Verizon, and Samsung I am extremely disappointed in both of you. Went there to upgrade and sign a new contract and was treated horribly from the start. Spent about 5 minutes with this old lady named KAREN ( a real see you next Tuesday) and couldn't take it anymore because she was so rude about everything so I went out of my way to go the Brunswick Verizon so that I didn't have to spend another second in that store. I will never go back there but if you do go stay away from KAREN, she will absolutely ruin your new phone experience and your day. read more

I went to Best Buy and they were able to help me and provide me with my upgrade in 10 minutes. Save the frustration and just go to Best Buy instead of wasting your time in this store. read more
