I work from home and my Spectrum internet constantly loses connection. Today again it went down. Today I spoke with a Spectrum rep and again complained this has been an ongoing problem for several weeks. He checked my outages and said there were none at my home. Liar. Her checked again and said Yes, ongoing outages due to "work being done in the area". DO NOT use Spectrum. They constantly raise your rate and the service gets worse. read more

We are paying all this money for Spectrum and can only use it on one TV and can only use use the Spectrum app!!! They came out cut all the cable cords in the house said that was the issue even though they wasn't being used! No change! 80 bucks a month JUST FOR internet service?! Are you kidding me? And oftentimes, the modem and/or service just doesn't work that well, with no connection! I'm getting sick and tired of re-booting my modem and PC over and over again! Executives at Spectrum, if you or your managers are reading this, you must improve your internet speeds and pricing that you offer people. From my experience, the speed is never even close to what we are paying for (even late at night with only my PC on), and I am very close to leaving Spectrum and going with another provider. read more

After many years of TV and internet service, plus the accompanying high, ever-increasing subscription fees, I decided to change providers. I returned all equipment a few days before the end of a billing cycle, reducing monthly bill to around $150. Once I had a new internet service installed to go with YouTube TV I had selected, I cancelled all Spectrum service only 3 days into the new billing cycle. My additional obligation should have been about $15, or 10% of monthly cost, right? No, they wanted $83 for 3 days service. Do you want to be treated like that? How likely do you think they are to ever get my business again? read more

Spectrum is an awful company. Please make sure that you find any other provider available. You'd get better service with aluminum foil and a set of rabbit ears. It took them over six weeks and daily phone calls to bury our cable line outside of our house. After 45 minutes of hold time each time, it was always escalated to a supervisor but same zero result. It took the threat of going to social media to get a result. Do yourself a favor and pick someone else. read more

We had nothing but problems with the service. We contacted them over and over again. 2 weeks before we were set to move I contacted them for a disconnect. They could not get it due to "covid" so I took all the equipment to the store, waited in line for over an hour and was told I had to pay for the full month as my bill was 4 days into the billing cycle. I refused. within 5 days it was sent to collections. My husband finally paid it as we were being harassed daily for a bill we did not owe. He figured we would just get a refund. We did not. We are out $98 for 4 days of service (although the moving company had already taken our computers and TV's. as they gave us zero choice but to pay it or keep being harassed. So, go with streaming or Netflix, hulu or any other service and avoid Wow or spectrum unless you want to pay for bad service, the worst customer service, and a company that forces you to pay for a service you don't even use. They make more money over billing, charging for services you dont have and there is nothing you can do about it. read more

If I could give a minus score, I would. They are the horrible. I work from home and the internet service is awful. It keeps kicking me off randomly during the day and night. I have not been able to perform my job due to their sub-standard internet. Spectrum will not reimburse me for loss of work which has cost me hundreds of $$$$. I am switching to AT&T. read more

HIDDEN FEE AND WRONGFUL CHARGES BEWARE OF SPECTRUM AND GET ANOTHER INTERNET SERVICE COMPANY Had a horrible experience with Spectrum, they like to have hidden fees , over charge on their service! When my internet stop working it took them a week to send anyone out which came 2 hours late and to top it off couldn't fix the problem. Then it took them 3 days later to send another person out whom also had not luck for a hour, he had to make call after call and no nothing. 3 hours later he fix it but a hour after he left I was half way through a movie and guess what internet went off yet again. So what did I do simply cancel and went with someone else . I returned there box asap so I wouldn't get charged. Now over a year later they our trying to send me a bill for the month it didn't even work for me. I'm now being wrongfully bill and charged, plus harassment from both emails and mail. read more

Starting in March we returned all but one of our cable boxes. However, between then and now they added 2 additional boxes on my bill without my knowledge. Called and asked for a credit and after an hour on the phone they said that would only credit me for 2 months. Lessen learned look at ur bill every month. I feel ripped off! read more

My recent visit to this location was met by a very helpful sales clerk. The one star is because of the manager of this location who was extremely rude and obnoxious. Their receipt system was down so I suggested an alternate solution and was told that I wasn't allowed to see his screen and to "keep my thoughts and opinions to myself". Interestingly enough, my sales clerk was able to do a screen swipe and provide a receipt. The manager wasn't solution focused and was just a jerk. I appreciate the sales clerk who helped me but the managers unprofessionalism is another reason why people, including myself are dumping cable for more affordable solutions and not having to deal with snarky customer service teams. read more

Quite possibly the most disgusting company I've ever dealt with. Liars and thieves. They will tell you one thing to sell you, then the tune changes once they're in your house. A friend of mine works there and later told me about 1 out of 10 of their installers are worthwhile. I am not exaggerating. I started with them November 10th. I turned my equipment in to them within 2 months. They will never get a dime from me. To share just one of the unpleasant experiences with them - our installer lied and said they wouldn't move my outlets. Even though sales department said they would. He then installed non DVR boxes when I was supposed to have dvr. So he came back out to fix his mistakes. My next bill came and they charged me for his "re-install". I filed a claim to reimburse me and was called about two weeks later and told they wouldn't waive that fee and I was out of luck. Again- this is a VERY SMALL SNIPPET of my overwhelmingly poor experience with this fraudulent, disgusting company. I hope they all rot. My mother went to the Spectrum store with questions about her bill and service. The young black man working on 11/2 was rude and disrespectful. He told her he couldn't help her. He told her she had to call customer service. She came in person thinking she would get better service since she had already tried a phone call. I expected an 89-year-old woman would get more respect. When she tried to cancel the service he told her she had to cancel over the phone. My mother cancelled her service. When I returned the equipment for my mother, the same young man was working and he still has the same poor attitude. I do not recommend this location read more

Exactly what the previous reviewer said, 80 bucks for just internet, are you kidding me? But if you also bundle TV then it's only $30?? This does't make sense... what have they been smoking?! Listen up folks, do what I did, cancel the crappy cable, go sign up with SimpleMobile prepaid $50/mo phone service which comes with unlimited talk & text + high speed internet (that's already $30 cheaper than Scam-trum lol, and you can use the phone as your primary phone which you'd be paying for anyway), and also get DirecTVnow for $35/mo (that's not DirecTV but a new streaming service on your phone or through a free AppleTV box). This way you can stream the same exact same live and regular channels as on cable, but you can watch it on your phone, anywhere, anytime, even 2 separate people can watch at the same time. When you're home simply ChromeCast it from the phone to your TV (get a $35 ChromeCast boy at BestBuy) and you're good to go (the phone becomes the remote, it's amazing!) Once you try this streaming TV service on your phone, you'll never go back to traditional cable. It's just so much more convenient and mobile, you'll never miss another ID channel show ;) They've been raping our wallets far to long, and as insult to injury they have the audacity to raise prices even higher. NOPE, it's not gonna happen!! Folks, use your wallets and vote NO to these insane high cable prices! Very disappointed. Had Time warner for one year then moved. Cancelled it, returned everything, received a credit on bill from the store then a month later received another bill from them. Disputed bill never heard from them and here 8 months later I get a call from a collection agency. The service itself was not reliable in the year I had it. Pretty crappy company. read more
