My husband, who is black and (I am a white woman) went and dropped off my phone early this morning for a cracked screen. Tonight we went to pick it up and he was told my phone was sent to the Stow store to be fixed because they could not fix it. The reason he went in to pick get it, was because I broke my foot today and he did not want me walking on it and he was the one that dropped it off. He proceeded to come out to the truck and get me and when I, "the white woman" walked back into the store, all of sudden my phone was there and fixed, within 2 seconds. They literally lied to my husband about the phone. No apology, no explanation, no nothing. This is why a lot of unnecessary racism crimes happen. My husband was very highly frustrated and upset, felt disgraces, discriminated, everything!!! He did not want me walking on my injured foot and then got lied to for no reason! Something should be done about this employee. The other employee, we believe John G, helped us and gave us the phone without issue. You could tell he was embarrassed about what happened... but still no apology or anything. Just said, I'll talk to him. Something more needed done to stop this type of discrimination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prior to leaving I requested a receipt, he said we don't do receipts and wrote his name, amount paid and date on a sheet of paper! Return the following day to now a phone that won't work with any LCDs and turn on! Owner looked me in the face to say "it's not his fault I took the risk when allowing them to fix my phone" . The "Owner" then handed my my phone back returned my money with an extra twenty for my trouble, while telling me to take it to apple store. Fast forward today took to Apple store to find out they didn't replace all the components, screws are missing and the heating elements are missing. This store basically gave me a shell of a phone and a $600 problem. I have to now buy another phone while still under contract with this phone! Do not go to this place!
