This was by far the worst experience I've had with Verizon. I waited in the store for over 25 minutes without being greeted or given any indication of how long the wait would be. The lack of professionalism was obvious. Another customer actually had to speak up and point out that I had been waiting a while before anyone acknowledged me. To make things worse, someone who walked in after me--by at least 10 minutes--was greeted immediately and assisted. As someone who works in customer service, I know this is absolutely not how you treat people. When an employee finally came over, all they did was hand me a number to call--no explanation, no assistance. It was a complete waste of time. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience here was extremely disappointing. The staff was unhelpful, unprofessional, and lacked basic customer service skills. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. The brick and mortar has officially become obsolete. I came in at 5:45, waited patiently for 15 minutes for the only two people in the store to finish up with the two employees. Then at 6pm was told I'd have to order my phone and wait two days. And that they close at 7 so he wouldn't be able to get to me since he had a 6pm appointment so to make an appointment for another day. So I'm going to make an appointment for them to order me a phone when I'm already there in person? That makes no sense and would have been a lot more helpful to know when I walked in. I said I'd order it with the manager but was told the manager can't order phones. Anyone with a Verizon polo shirt in should be able to do something as simple as that. I went to this store because I was told by another store that Seekonk is a corporate store. I was trying to stop the automatic payment on an account for a lady who is no longer capable. They said they can't get into the account without the phone and gave me a number to call who told me to go back into the store with the poa. I went back into the store to ask if they could help if I brought the poa. They said yes. Then one of them said "I believe you but I'm not going into that account. Corporate won't like that, I'm just a salesman" My point being don't say you can't get into the account when you obviously can, don't give me a number to call when they are telling me to go back into the store. If you don't know how to help how about saying to the customer "I don't know the answer but I will make a call and find out if you don't mind waiting a few minutes" That would be a lot better than what they did say. I did go on the community page and got an appropriate response as to where to send the poa. If I had brought it to the Seekonk corporate store they still wouldn't be able to access her account as it needs to be sent to the New Jersey office to be in the lady's account so I can get access. I don't blame the reps at the store, they seem to be poorly trained as to how to help people and they are not trained to say they will find out. They are trained to give you bad information that causes a lot of unnecessary trips to the store. Please train your reps to be more helpful than that. This corporate location has come a long way in the past few years. when they first moved to the current location they had a crew that would pressure sale you the second you stepped foot in the doorway and they were incredibly inflexible and at times rude. I think the company wide changes have made a big difference with how sales associates interact with new and existing customers now. I no longer feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when I visit now. I had exceptional in store customer support service today and felt like my voice was heard and my concerns were addressed in a timely and professional manner. I would definitely recommend visiting this location if your looking to open an account or make changes to existing one. read more

We had to go in because of storm damage to my phone. Malthik was quick to say "Hello, can I help you." He wasn't on the floor he was behind the desk and was quick to help us right along. He was very knowledgable, informative, and he listened patiently. He completely understood what we were looking for ( at times we didn't) and how to help us. He did what needed to be done, all the while explain everything he was doing and never rushed us or got annoyed by all our questions. Great customer service! Very attentive and willing to help. We had trouble with our bill from our home phone but Verizon customer service was no help. We walked into this store and were greeted promptly and the employee at the service desk was able to help us resolve our issue. Even the floor manager stayed close by to make sure we didnt leave without our issue being resolved. read more

The person at the counter gave me absolutely no information to what he was doing well he ran a credit report on me even though I had no intent in signing a contract and now I have a hard inquiry on my credit that will never be removed for the rest of my life. I purposely delay going to get my phone upgraded when it comes time because of the sheer hell that ensues just by walking into these places. I encountered a 1hr wait so I ran some errands, came back and was called right at the hour mark. Thank JESUS I had Mike as my tech who was able to hook me up with a great phone and accessories for minimal hassle and out of pocket expenses. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient as the mobile carrier process is incredibly complicated. Thank you for making that not as awful as it could have been! read more

Also, brought to our attention of a $700 discount for her broken phone that we we applied to my new phone that the other store never mentioned when I upgraded my phone and it was expiring that night!! Once again I was bowled over by the first class service at this Verizon store in Seekonk, MA. It wasn't my first time to have a chance to be impressed by this team. I made a switch to Verizon in January, 2022 and they walked me though every step to help me get the discounts for making a switch. Fast forward to mid-April and I had an issue with my most recent payment. I couldn't figure out of if the gift card with credit for the switch had a balance or not. The experts that greeted me, Mahlik and Mike, got right to it and let me know that indeed the card didn't have a remaining balance so it was time to change my method of auto-payment. They figured out in short order what the customer service line couldn't help me with. Kudos to Verizon, especially Mahlik and Mike! read more

Totally adequate service at this Verizon wireless. I went in to get a new phone and therefore had to switch plans (from unlimited data to a new contract) and the three different people I spoke to were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were fine with me taking my time in picking out a new phone, and best of all weren't pushy at trying to get me to buy services and accessories I didn't want. This location can get pretty busy on the weekend, so I recommend going during off-peak hours. read more

Beware iPhone customers! If you have any issues with your iPhone Verizon's generic response is that has been subjected to moisture. I was having problems hearing the ringer with the volume up and was shown the pink dot in the charging port and informed my only option was a new phone at full price($600). I have to bump this review because, although the service was quite friendly and seemed to be above and beyond, the individual helping me the other day was indeed not knowledgeable and turned my small task into an all-afternoon event. I wanted to update my phone and somehow the taxes weren't adding up so I needed to go to a Verizon store in my home state instead or allow them to order online and send the phone to my home. Well, I wanted it now. So, I went to RI and started the process all over again. The rep also said he had backed up my phone to cloud and that it was ready to trade in. When I showed up at the other store, it had indeed not been backed up and I had to go home, back it up, and then come back again to get my new phone. Literally four hours of my day were gone because of this dude. read more

The last two times I've been in this location I've had the best service. Today Tony helped me set up an international plan, helped me with a bill related question, and put my invisible shield cover on for me. This location started carrying much better phone cases so I was able to replace my tech 21 case with a clean new one without having to go to Apple. Tony even pointed out the lifetime warranty on the glass screen protector. Why call Verizon and receive terrible service and have your services messed up when you can drive 2 miles for perfect service? read more

Had a great experience at this location. I came for a phone upgrade and was in and out in 30 minutes. Mike helped me and answered all my questions. He was wonderful. Please note: this is an official Verizon location. The store in Swansea is an authorized retailer, which comes with extra fees. If you are debating between the two, I couldn't recommend this one enough as the representatives are great and it doesn't come with extra fees. read more

I came in here yesterday looking to have my new phone activated. It didn't have a SIM card, so I had to go in store to have my old SIM card transferred to the new phone. I left my car at 4:40 and walked out of the store at 4:41. An employee here helped me and activated my phone in literally under a minute. Great customer service! read more

I been with verizon fios for over 3 yrs they dont even deserve 1 star I and my neighbors have been having outages on the bundle package. They are so bad at customer service I called about the outage and the verizons rep tried selling me insurance for the wiring in my house what gall to try to sell me more of the same worthless services. I wont let verizon hook up my new tenants verizon is no longer allowed in this building. Please trust me when I tell you they are the worst I tried getting money off my bill and the rep gave me a hard time that was the 1st time I called I dont bother now. The neighbors and I will not be renewing that crappy service. They should be ashamed of them selves. If you dont want any headaches dont bother with them its not worth it. read more

So my phone was acting crazy for about 2 weeks, it's 2+years old. I avoided going to a Verizon for help because I thought they would automatically try and get me to upgrade and buy a new phone. Not the case...went to this store yesterday . After a brief wait..Chris came to assist me. I told him what problems the phone had...he immediately knew my sims card was defective . Criminals!! I had an old flip phone and a truck drove by me and splashed me while I was walking. As a result, my phone died. I went to Verizon asking for the cheapest flip phone they had because I didn't want a smart phone, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a replacement phone. They wanted to charge me $175 for a flip phone that only makes calls and texts. The iphone was only $200!! Why would the cheapest flip phone at the Verizon store cost only $25 less than an iphone? Seems criminal! Verizon makes all their money from people cancelling their plans and from phone replacement. Slick way of doing business. read more

This Verizon store is the best one I have come across. I have dealt with at least 6 different employees, all super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It gets busy sometimes and the wait may be long but it is worth it when dealing with experts every time. This Verizon store has got to be one of the worst. Went to get our phones activated, made an appointment for 12:30. we were there til 2:45. I made my appointment for 12:30 my boyfriend mistakenly made his for 4:30. Got berated by the girl greeting customers. So, when you have to go to this store, bring your lunch you're going to be there a while. Big problems with my rebate still ongoing after 5 days. Weekend employees seem very miserable, no one smiling. By the looks of it it seems all Verizon stores have poor reviews. Verizon, you either need more help or ramp up your service times, because the waits are long. Won't be going to Seekonk anymore.
