Went to this AT&T store to upgrade iPhones with one I had purchased online, expecting a simple SIM card swap and to be on my way. The customer service representative I spoke with did so quickly, even though I overestimated the driving time and I arrived an hour before my online scheduled appointment. I then had plenty of time to switch my phone number to a local one and to have a glass screen protector applied. As I waited, he (Matthew Silva) recalled a promotion I might've been eligible for as I had bought my first phone around two years ago through AT&T... to my surprise, I walked out having DOUBLED my data plan, added insurance in the event of losing or breaking my phone, AND saving $25 on my monthly bill. This was all because he took the time to look into this promotion he remembered. I was already satisfied with my service, but with that, could hardly believe my luck. He also spoke with me about a new deal AT&T has with DirectTV that would likely fall just over the amount of money I'm now saving on my phone bill for many channels, that I may just have to look into. The experience felt very personalized and like I was a valued customer with them. Outstanding customer service like this is what keeps me loyal to AT&T and now, to the Seekonk, MA location. read more

Horrible customer service and rude manager. Was told wifi is $35/month but was charged $105. Can't get access to billing and manager didn't help and cussed at us and told us to call customer service. This was particularly frustrating because I had already contacted customer service earlier that same day and was specifically instructed to go into the store for help. Still no access to billing or an itemized receipt. I have wifi and mobile through them and will be changing both! read more

AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Seekonk, Massachusetts

Discriminatory customer service, topped off by a manager who said he didn't care about their behavior being escalated because their store is not under corporate AT&T. Connected with another customer who was present upon leaving who agreed to serve as a witness if I pursue legal actions. read more

Unethical sales practice. Poor customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. This location lies to customers and uses unethical sale techniques about promotions. I am not the first to be scammed. Read reviews on FB, GOOGLE, YELP, and heed this warning. They're not an ATT corporate store. They are Prime Communications who are authorized to sell ATT services. Summary: Initial encounter in December 2024 was good. Was sold promotion discount for an Apple Watch and IPad. Now March and still no discount. Called ATT multiples times for a resolution. ATT suggested going to store. Employees and employee "Mike" at store REFUSED to help or provide any customer support stating they are unable to look up account, billing, contracts. Refused to give names of employee or manager. Ended going to another location on the same day (South Attleboro) and the Manager was able to provide information about promotion and what led to denial of promotion on my account. Unfortunately, ATT does not value their customers and will not apply the discount that was promised. Manager at S Attleboro location also said they've have multiple customers complain about Seekonk ATT and was not surprised about my experience. read more

If you came here to see if you should get AT&T as carrier! Well don't! Unless you want bad service high bill and customer service that rivals your local Waffle House at 2 a.m. Do yourself a favor! Look elsewhere. read more

Do not go here unless you enjoy getting scammed. I went to this store with the intention to trade in my iPhone 13 Pro for an iPhone 16 pro. When I asked the sales associate about my iPhone 13 pro's trade-in value, he said that AT&T would give me $850 for my iPhone 13 Pro. I was surprised by this number, since I showed him that the back of my phone was cracked, but he insisted that this did not matter. He then displayed onscreen what my monthly payment would be with the $850 trade-in over a span of 36 months. Since the alleged monthly payment would only be $2 and change, I was open to it. Upon taking a closer look at the screen, I saw that this guy was displaying the monthly cost of an iPhone 16, after I said repeatedly that I wanted the 16 pro. I pointed this out, and when he changed it to the phone I actually wanted, suddenly my monthly payment went up to $7 and change per month. I trusted at the time that this mistake was a harmless oversight, so I continued with the purchase. This man explicitly told me that whenever I am ready, as long as it's within 21 days of receiving the phone, I can come into any AT&T and trade in my old phone. After transferring my data from my old phone to my new phone, I went back to AT&T Seekonk with the plan to trade in my old phone. I went up to another employee and told him I was ready to trade in my phone. This man discouraged me from doing a trade-in in the store. He told me that it would be a complicated process and that it would negatively impact my monthly reimbursement. He said that I am much better off getting a prepaid shipping label and mailing the phone back to AT&T, or visiting a corporate AT&T store. I told him that I was told I could come back to any AT&T to trade in my phone and it would be a simple and quick process. This man told me that I was misinformed. This did not sit right with me, so I called the AT&T store in Swansea. I asked the gentleman on the phone if I could trade in my old phone at any AT&T, and he said I absolutely could. I then told him what the man at Seekonk told me about the complications of doing in-store trade-ins, and he said that this is completely not true. Disgusted by being lied to by the man at AT&T Seekonk, I decided to take my business to the Swansea AT&T store instead. Upon looking at my iPhone 13 Pro, the Swansea employee informed me that my phone's trade-in value was only $350. I was utterly flabbergasted. I told him that AT&T Seekonk had quoted me $850. He said that a phone's trade-in value is not determined until the moment you actually trade it in. Of course, no one at AT&T Seekonk told me this. They had insisted without a shadow of a doubt that my phone's trade-in value was $850, regardless of the cracked back side. To say the people at this place lied straight to my face is an understatement. So, my calculated monthly payment went from $2 a month to $7 a month to now over $20 per month. I was offered the option to get the phone fixed before trading it in, but the cost and hassle of repairing it, only to get not even close to what I was initially quoted, was just not worth it to me. So, I was left with no choice but to accept the $350 trade-in value. I was scammed. I was lied to. I was manipulated into unknowingly spending more money than what I was quoted. I sincerely hope that these employees at AT&T Seekonk are held accountable for their immoral business practices. read more

I purchased a new iPhone here and made a second visit to correct a transfer of data. When I was getting nowhere with the snarky person I was dealing with I asked for the manager. He said he was the manager. Sure he was. No wonder their rating is so low, the lowest of all the local AT&T stores. Shop only at Apple when buying an iPhone. Their employees are knowledgeable about their products and smart enough to be courteous to their customers. read more

I was in this store on 1/18/22 at about 3:45pm I wish zero stars was an option. I've been an ATT customer since the first iPhone came out. My bill is always paid on time and I upgrade regularly. I'm the customer they won't want to lose. Well if anything will lose me it's the treatment I just got at this store. I wish I knew the clerks name, but I don't recall. I went in to upgrade a phone. They didn't have it. I asked for pricing info and he gave me vague numbers. When I asked questions he gave vague answers and didn't offer to look anything up. I asked again he said how much is the phone you want. Yes, he asked me! He did not get up from his seat to look at the sign. He just sat there while I went to look. When I questioned something on the sign that contradicted what what he said he questioned why I was that worked up about $5.00. I said, it's $5 a month for 36 months! He still didn't answer me and just said "I do this every day forget the sign" he never went to look at the sign and barely listened to me. He blamed me for not comprehending what he was saying and at that point I lost my cool then stormed out. I went back in a minute later asking to speak to the manager. He responded "go right ahead my man" and went to get the manager. Once they were both in front of me he told the manager verbally assaulted him and was told to stop by the manager. The manager then offered me the assistance I wanted as far as pricing and payments, but did little to nothing to remedy or apologize for the situation even tho I apologized for cursing in his store. My outburst may not have been called for but the fact that not one employee apologized to me is 100% wrong. Attention AT&T... the customer is always right! There are WAY to many cell providers out there offering amazing deals for new customers for me to be treated the way I was. Perhaps you need to train your employees to get off their asses when they are selling a $1300 phone. Might want to remind him of the sign says MASKS REQUIRED that means he should properly wear his also. Needless to say, I'm not happy and I'll be exploiting my options outside or AT&T. read more

This place is a shit show. The salesperson was really nice and was trying to make the best of a bad situation, but this place is disorganized, they have limited inventory, and the tables are even dirty. It seems really poorly managed. Also they need to use iPads to verify the account, and both of the stores iPads didn't work even after multiple tries. This store sucks. Go 10 minutes up the road to Swansea, it's a million times better. We actually had to go here to finish the transaction we tried to start at Seekonk. It was a night & day experience read more

Go to any other AT&T besides this one. Super dishonest manager and staff. Lied to our faces regarding our plan and fees. Plan was upgraded without being told. Instead of adding a line to my account, they opened a business plan to the other line without consent. Bill was almost more than 2x what we were told it would be. Several calls were not returned and finally had to make an appointment to "look into things". Super sketchy!! Visited a different AT&T store and they couldn't believe how my account was handled and were willing and able to fix some of the problems. Bunch of scammers. read more

Evan was super nice and helpful even though we didn't buy anything. I would recommend going there is needed.

This is the only store that does repairs even close to my house. I did want a tech to come to my home during the pandemic. I wanted to fix a minor crack in my phone before upgrading to get the max value of my trade in. I had asked if instead of waiting the 4 hours for my repair to be done. I asked one of the reps if I could just trade it in and they would keep the repaired phone. No, if the tech breaks your phone during the repair then we don't have a trade. I don't understand if the tech breaks my phone then its replaced and you have a trade. What difference does it make? I feel like any store near me would work with me. Add: phone repair took over 5 hours read more

I was just here this past week, as my father had to upgrade his phone for the first time in 10 years. Given the time span, phones have changed dramatically since; i asked for a simple, no-fuss phone, as the only thing he requires is a phone to make/receive calls. The representative assisting me tried to up-sell me on a brand new Samsung, (I love when men underestimate me). After 10 minutes of what my "options" were, I instructed him to process the sale for the phone i wanted, and which was appropriate to the needs of my father. I understand you have numbers to hit every month, but how about keeping the customer's needs in mind when selling? On top of all of that, most of my questions were answered with "I don't know" and when it came to shipping the phone, which they did not have in stock and as a matter of fact were out of many other phone models, he shipped the phone to my place of work, neglecting to advise that i would require an authorization from my father on his account, allowing me to receive the order, (something he could have done on the spot, himself). I also asked him to update contact info and email(s), etc. which he did not do, which was a pain when it came to changing the delivery time and date for the order. At the conclusion of the sale, I was only handed a receipt. No business card was offered, for any queries may have, post the sale, so that we may call directly and avoid their horrendous, automated, computerized system. The whole process was a joke and to think they charge, what they charge for these phones and service - it's highway robbery! read more

I came in 40 minutes before they were closing there were two groups there they walked up to me and said how can I help you I said I just need to get a new phone he said oh well there's two groups ahead of you it'll be a wait I said OK that's fine and he said and I don't know if I'll even be able to help you at that point so there a time is much more valuable than mine? Verizon next door was glad to see time! Sorry for the business owner but your staff is costing you business I was coming in to buy three new phones read more

I was mislead and flat out lied to by a female sales clerk. I went to the store to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy. I was debating between 2 phones. She told me they were doing a promo and the S21 would be free. I kept asking "why would they just give away phones?" but she insisted that was the current promotion because I had been with AT&T for over 20years. I was assured my bill would not go up and in fact she was lowering it by $20. Guess what? My new bill is $235 higher than before and the phone costs $800 read more

By far the worst staff at any retail location for any store, not just ATT. They lied, messed up my plan, and consistently picked up and hung up the phone when I tried to call to resolve the situation. The manager in particular should be fired, terrible service. The representatives when calling the customer service number were much more helpful and after a few calls they were able to fix my issue caused by the store employees. read more

Please avoid this store at ALL costs!! I was lied to over and over again. Tried to return items and the manager "just stepped out". Then told "don't know when he'll be back" then "he won't be in until Thursday". Three lies within 4 minutes. Please go somewhere else people. Any other AT&T store but this one! read more

I had great experiences with Kevin and Javiar (staff is great) but Store Manager Jessy is condescending, rude and damaging to AT&T. Horrible. Complained to corporate and hopefully it will be addressed. Been an customer since 2001 and seriously considering moving over to Verizon after this experience. read more

Honestly, nice people but need training. We switch 3 Lines to AT&T and they never explained to us that there was a website that we had to go on to to photocopy our last bill to get reimbursed for the cell phones that we handed in. It is now 4 months past when we originally signed up and we are still dealing with this issue. Our last carrier is now sending us to collections because AT&T didn't pay the bill. We are the type of people that have extremely good credit and this is ruining it. We signed up for not only three lines of cell phone service but also DirecTV and their home security system. You figure people like us that come in signing up for the complete package they would take care of but they don't. read more

I have been going to this store for years and have always had AT&T wireless. Until today, I've always been satisfied with customer service. In addition, we've had more than a few of each generation of iPhones, so they've gotten plenty of business from us. My daughter and I went in today planning to replace her dying iPhone 4s with a new iPhone 6. We walked in and were greeted by a fellow who pointed us to the displays for the iPhones. We looked at the 6's briefly and told him we wanted to purchase the 6, not the 6 plus. He said they were out of stock (could he have told us that when we asked to look at them?). When would they get more in? Not for a week to fourteen days. But, I told him, we could order one online and get it the next day. Shrug; you could go to one of the other stores, like Cranston (looking just on Yelp, there are more and closer). Could he call them and find out for us whether they had any in stock? No. Of course not. That would be GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My daughter will be sending the complaint to AT&T as well. A little extra effort goes a long way to keeping customers, and this guy didn't have a clue. read more
