I went In Yesterday Saturday for some new bras. I have always had an issue with bras as my chest is…read morevery large. When i walked in the associates were at the register talking no greeting. People all thru the store. I started to look for the size I had on which I couldn't find everything is color coded not by size. Finally after 5 mins of searching an older lady with blonde and grey hair came out from the back and asked me if I needed help. I said yes and expressed the concerns I had she said your not that size. She sounded as she didn't want to help me so Sent me in the dressing room and started to bring in some sizes that I knew just by looking at them they wouldn't fit. After trying on two bras she brought me in the bra that I told her I had on I showed her it was big and she then says "you should just get a breast reduction we won't find anything for you today". Then calls over another younger girl and tells her the same thing she looks at me and says yea you should. I've worked in customer service and I would never be this forward with people. I could have suggested online since in store they don't carry my size. Or maybe try resizing me again. Nope I left that store without buying anything and felt so defeated. It's always a hard experience when I go shopping and yesterday I felt like crying because the way that older lady made me feel. I will not be returning to this store as they don't understand that you should treat your customers good. I hope corporate sees this and does something about this I can't be the only one this has happened to.

This one in Garden City is smaller than the Providence Place Mall one, I think. Their men's section is limited, but they did have a nice selection of jackets, shirts, pants, etc..... The clothes seem high quality, well curated and stylish and I love the way the store is laid out ... especially the dressing rooms, which I want to live in. The staff here is my issue. They seem overly pretentious, judgy and just not very helpful. Often, they speak to you as if you are a high school student who walks into a Ferrari dealership asking for a test drive. Noses in the air. Even when you chase them down to help you ... they act like the waiter in Ferris Beauller's Day Off. I do find myself shopping here more than I'd like and each time I feel ignored by the staff, or like I am annoying them with anything I ask. I have been to other Banana Republic stores which are much friendlier and the staff actually seem to want to help me buy clothes. The Garden City location is just terrible.

I was in the store for 20-30 minutes. I noticed this trend when any older lady came in. They only greeted the younger teens. They had personal conversations about the Hunger Games and Harry Potter while I was the only one in the store. On the other hand, the woman named Diamond was very nice and respectful. She noticed that I was not being helped and was not judgmental at all. I was put off by the other 2 ladies and felt that they were very unprofessional. Thank you to Diamond who swooped in at the end to help !

They even encourage you to call if you have questions about items and a link to support sales for their store location. Located among the many other businesses in the Cranston Garden City Center, parking is dynamic in this busy shopping venue. Signing up to become a rewards member ensures that you receive notifications about flash sales, coupons and alerts when new items are added. The price point can range from moderate to higher prices for items. This is where your coupons come in to offset the full price of items if you're trying to save money on your purchases. Ship to store, ship to home or curbside pickup are available when you're shopping online or by phone. Depending on your body composition, I do recommend taking some time to try things on so you're informed on how it'll fit or if you need it ordered and shipped to you. This location does not have a lot of square footage so some items such as shoes may be limited to what's available in store. Accessories such as belts, scarves, jewelers and handbags to complete your look. I would recommend this business if you are looking for wear to work, day to play or other dressier options. Definitely worth a return visit.
