However, on our last visit there was no one to check us out. We stood by one of their 'customer service' desks on the lower level and a line began to form. One of the customers mentioned this has happened to her before. We decided to take a walk around to see if any other register had staff. We did find one cashier on the upper level who was happy to ring up our purchases. She was very friendly and we chatted a bit about how understaffed the store seemed to be. It's always sad to see a store that has been in business for so long go into distress. It's one of the anchor stores at the Warwick Mall. They offer salon services here also. The racks are seperated by item - tops, bottoms, jeans, shorts, athletic wear etc - and then by size so easy to hone in on what you want. The racks were tidy. The store is a good size and well signed overhead so you can see at a distance where the items you need are located. The parking lot is shared with many businesses and is busy. Accessible parking is nearby the entrance. Changing rooms were in good condition, clean with a good deal of places to hang things. The attendant who gives out the number tags was very pleasant. Plenty of cashiers available and ours was very pleasant and chatty. A quick look around shows they carry intimates, belts, bags, hats, jewelry, shoes, dressy and casual clothes as well as homegoods. An employee who was close enough to hear us made a bee-line away being sure not to make eye contact. Once we found the department, we are talking to each other about where the flannel sets may be located. A second employee followed the example of our previous encounter. We did find what we wanted. No prices are listed nearby or on the garments. Now to find a cashier. We walk around looking. None of the customer service desks are manned. We finally find an employee who is able, and willing, to check us out. That was an unpleasant interaction.
