Bought my phone here with extended warranty. I was having issues with it and took it in. Four people in the store and the only help I got was a phone number to call. They did nothing! Only excuse after excuse about why they can't do this or that. The number was to some Asian country that could barely speak English. The call took an hour due to the language barrier. In the end everything they told me to do failed because they screwed it up! Avoid this store! They absolutely suck and you WILL be screwed. If you need anything! You have been warned! read more

I would give this store zero stars if I could. My elderly father went to this location to have his phone fixed. Not only did they not utilize his phone insurance, they sold him an unneeded, new phone and and a random iPad. He was completely taken advantage of. We have already reported this location to Verizon Corporate. Please do yourself a favor and drive to their North Main location or to their location in Monterey. read more

ARMANDO DESERVES A 5. The service he provided was excellent. I watched him handle an overcrowded store with grace. He took time and care handling a difficult situation with the person before me whom had been to the store many times with her issues and Armando and the customers grace were a nice to observe in society for a change. The level of integrity and professionalism by the reps at this site are the worst I have ever seen. You are much better off going to the actual Verizon Store on North Main than to this satellite store. Also, this store is dirty, the are wires hanging from the wall, and the floor needs repair. If I could give zero stars I would. On my first visit I was told I would need to wait 15 minutes for the door to unlock to pick up my phone and when I came back 15 minutes later the door was locked and a taped sign that said out to lunch. It was 5:30 and the store closed at 7. The next time I went in another man got my phone and ended up charging me full price when it was supposed to be free. I took it back the next day and retuned it. The third guy that I dealt with actually helped me. It was a $50 lesson for the return, but it was worth it. Never again. read more

I had a similar experience as another Yelper on here. Switched from Sprint to Verizon on Black Friday in November. Asked that my lines be transferred to Verizon and that I could get one of the numbers then switched. I traded in my Sprint phones. The manager there said they took care of everything and I wouldn't need to contact Sprint because it was all taken care of on their end with Verizon. Months go by and I get a call from collections saying that I owe over $600 to Sprint. I pay it thinking it was the remainder on my phones from my Sprint plan. It wasn't. Because months later I got another bill from Sprint and they are saying I owe them another $394. All because the account was not closed like she said it was. She took my Sprint phone as a trade in and left it connected with Sprint. I had no access to it and I used no data...because I didn't have it. So now Sprint is charging me for four months of service and for another couple hundred bucks for the remainder owed on my old phone. I contacted Verizon and they said this retailer is not a corporate Berizon store and they can't help me. It's all pushing off responsibility. If they would have done it right in the first place I wouldn't be out an extra $1000 all because of an employee's lack of knowledge...not just an employee...a manager. This is a nightmare and they didn't help me. Berizon is only giving me a $25 credit for the inconvenience...thanks Verizon...that helps me almost bring my bill owed down to $1000 which was caused by your employee under your company name. read more

I went in yesterday due to a faulty battery recall. It's an Apple issue. Not Verizon So the 2 young men in there were extremely friendly and so helpful. Sinaad went way beyond any customer service expectations!! He suggested exactly what I needed in a case for my IPhone 6. Then I mentioned a device I had purchased to hold my phone in the car. And that I had difficulty installing it. I'm pretty challenged with minor issues. He offered to come out and take a look. I was like. Gosh so nice of you. And accepting his help. He worked diligently to get it attached. Unfortunately we ran into complications. But managed to get the job done!! Not often do we encounter such nice respectful young Men. I waited a few days to write my review because of how pissed I was when I actually left the store the other day. I came in when my Father passed away, presented the death certificate and asked that his account be shut down. The gal then told me it wasn't a problem and STATED she did just that. Now, keep in mind...I live out of state. When I managed to go back to California to continue dealing with my Fathers estate, I had bills from Verizon. They never shut the account down. LOVELY! Awesome! Lovin' it. So. I went back into Verizon on Monday, with my documents yet again to have this matter addressed. The gal at the counter proceeded to tell me that they're a retail store, not a corporate store. Sorry. Excuse me? What does that have to do with anything? You sign people up for accounts, sell them expensive phones, accessories up the ying yang, take payments and do authorizations, yet, couldn't give me customer service? Ya see, the gal there told me I need to go all the way to the other side of town to get help since she was "really new and didn't know anything so the corporate store could do my stuff for me". Seriously? Management? What's up with that? Soooo I gotta go across town, deal with more traffic and wait for another unknown amount of time to possibly get some sort of customer service from them? * thumbs up * Obviously, I'm still pissed. I'm very angry that people cannot do their jobs correctly and that their lack of attention & detail effected me while I'm in the midst of dealing with an estate. Who would know there's a difference between their location THERE, which is classified as a retail store, verses the one in North Salinas, which is corporate. What's the difference between them? They both have access to accounts, authorizations and billing information. Don't waste your time coming here. As for the person who left a review about how amazing they are, I find it funny that you only commented for this store and specifically listed employees. I spent a couple of hours with an employee named Carlos Z on Saturday afternoon. He told me I still owe $233 on my existing iPhone 8, but that there was a promotion for the IPhone 12 that would allow for a $425 discount on the 12 phone. He was supposed to send my 8 phone back in order to get the discount. He told me that I would continue to pay off that phone monthly and my bill would only go up $15 per month. None of this was in writing and the employee could not explain it very well. I went in the next day and he had not gotten the promotion put on my account. He very much thought he had done it. I told him that he had put my phone back in the bag which surprised me when I got home. The next day I went to bring the phone back. Carlos wasn't there, and Brizna informed me that I could not get the promotion of $425 off if I had not paid off my phone. Carlos had made a mistake. He told me I would continue to pay off the new and the old phone monthly. I told Brozna that I did not want the phone then. She took care of the credit but made me pay $35 restocking fee. I told her I do not believe I should pay that fee cuz the mistakes were on their side and I had wasted at least 3 hours in there. I t was not my fault that they hadn't submitted my phone and told me I had to make the big payment on the old phone all at once. I have been with Verizon for years. As soon as my phone is paid off I will get a new carrier. DONT USE VERIZON read more

Customer service was terrible, we went in to get my boyfriend a new phone and open a new line, and the man at the counter had proceeded to say we have to talk to another person, when he was just standing there doing nothing. When we told him what we were there for he said to call verizon and file a claim to get a new phone. My boyfriend needed a phone THEN and THERE he needs it for work. We left empty handed and decided to make our way to the Verizon in Northridge mall, I suggest going in there, my boyfriend was able to get a new line and phone in under 30 minutes. I clearly asked if I switched from AT&T with my corporate discount that I avail from my work place will be honored by Verizon, manager replied" yes, I don't see no reason why they won't. Thought I could help a local retailer out but got nothing out of it except a higher bill... I ordered a new phone for my daughter - her first phone - should be an exciting experience, right? Was told it would be in tomorrow on Friday, then in on Monday when I went to pick it up on Saturday, then tomorrow on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. By the time Thursday came around, I didn't even want to go pick it up but I had already paid for half of it... The fees ended up about $200 more than purchasing directly through Apple store... I was also told that I could pay off the balance of the phone at any time - which also is not true. Verizon applies any additional payment to future bills, so I will be reminded every month for the next 2 years of how bad the service at this store was. Will never go back - go directly to Verizon store instead, not this reseller. read more

I have been in this store many, many times needing service and sales of various iPhones, Verizon products, and just recently an iPad. Karla, Sofia, and Sanad have been outstanding. Technology can get confusing and frustrating, but nothing has been a problem for the three sales associates to fix for me. They are calm, knowledgeable, and patient when working through any problems. Everything has always been resolved to my complete satisfaction. It is so nice to know that whatever comes up, I can go into the Verizon store and will be treated kindly, and with complete professionalism. Best customer service in the Salinas/Monterey area. I always come to this location when it is time for an upgrade or if I have any phone issues. Each time I upgrade to a new phone they activate it for me, transfer my contacts and number, apply a glass screen protector and answer all of my questions. Great selection of cases also! read more

Husband bought a phone for me as a Christmas gift. Opened box, did not tear sku label. Returned phone before the 30 days and was charged a "restocking fee" of $50.00. I spoke with Verizon from my car and was told restocking is $35.00. They suggested I do not reurn my pnone there...but it was too late. Phone and Wireless said they could not resell my phone because I opened the box. All cords/charger/book was still sealed. They had a very poor attitude and extremely poor custumer service. I have purchased my phone, two phones for my husband and 2 for my Mom there previously. I will no longer do business at that location. Beware of them selling you a phone with features you don;t need or want. I don't text so they said just close the phone and don't use the slide out keyboard! read more
