I went to the closest Verizon store, and got excellent help from a nice Western European Verizon employee first name Maoura, I think. After discussion, I decide to not try and get my phone number moved from Metro because my brother was waiting in his Toyata running because it was so cold. She did try and sell me a "free" 600 dollar phone, but after the first run to my apartment for documents, I gave up on a credit application and purchased outright a cheaper phone. She told me Verizon would charge me $30 to migrate the apps and contacts off my old phone, and I have a 2 ended USB-C cable, so I did it myself, it took about 20 minutes. She did warn me the CPU's in the new phone were slower. It does take 60-90 seconds to load after a reboot, my Metro phone was about 20 to 30 seconds faster. I also saw several customer come in for help, they always willing to help a customer instead of screaming at them and chasing the customer out of the store, which was my Metro by T-Mobile experience. I would recommend Verizon to all IT personnel. I have been a Systems Administrator for over 30 years, worked with every branch I know of AT&T Unix System 5 Release 4, Redhat linux, Oracle Enterprise Server, and every viable release of Windows Server. I have never experienced this level of service from a cell phone vendor sales person! They do have a problem with so many new customers coming in, I did have to wait in line a half an hour. read more

My wife needed a new phone so we went to a Verizon authorized dealer on Pat d'Arco. We were met immediately upon entering the store by Carla Nielsen. She backed up the phone to insure we could transfer everything to a new phone. She showed us our options and costs for upgrades. We made our choice on the iPhone 12. Carla was most pleasant to work with, insured my wife's phone was all set up and that my wife knew how to use it. She showed us several protective cases, again letting us decide. A very pleasant experience at this store and with Carla. We will definitely go back here when I need a new phone. read more

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Isaiah Garcia at Verizon during the purchase of my new I-phone. Several years ago I felt like I was over sold at another location and have been hesitant to buy in person since that time. He was very friendly and patient and helped me make an informed decision on which phone would meet my needs. We discovered a swelling battery on my wife's phone so we went to Cellular Sales in Rio Rancho on a Saturday. Don Gallegoes greeted us at the door and worked with us to select a new phone and get everything transferred over. He also help setup fingerprint recognition, connect the phone to fitbit, and adjust the size of the keyboard. I was also impressed by Don's encouragement to contact him for any issues, even billing.
