It was not this store, but it was t-mobile and people need to be aware of the disconnect between stores and corporate, that hurts consumers. Buyer beware - they "Supposedly" have revamped their rebate system... THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND SPIT IN YOUR FACE. The rebate department messed up $1200 worth of rebates on me. The manager in the store promised me a $600 credit on three occasions due to a corporate error that ended up costing me $1400. I never received this either. Now I know, they messed up and it cost me $1400 - i should have gotten $1400, I was desperate and I never even got that. The kicker - the rebated department was so RUDE! I went in here for a screen issue with my phone. It was usable until the young girl working there did something and I ended up with no screen. I ended up having to get a new phone but she did not know how to move my info over. I asked questions and she thought it was ok to say "I don't know what to tell you" and walked away. Ended up costing me more to take the phone to a reputable repair shop and paying for that in addition to paying for a new phone. I dont recommend this T-Mobile location. read more

1-Star Review (If I could give zero, I would) I've never had a worse experience at any T-Mobile location than I did at the Rio Rancho store. Last week, my phone suddenly developed a line across the screen, froze, and stopped turning on or off. I called T-Mobile customer support, and the representative confirmed it was a warranty issue since there was no physical damage, no water damage, and the phone had never been dropped. He arranged for a replacement phone to be sent to this store and told me all I needed to do was bring mine in and swap it out. I arrived right when the store opened and still waited over an hour because the only employee working--Carlos--was completely alone. When he finally helped me, he took one look at my phone and immediately refused to assist, claiming I had "clearly damaged" it. I explained exactly what happened and repeated what customer service told me, but he still refused to help. I then called customer support again while standing in the store. The representative on the phone confirmed I was correct and that Carlos was required to process the warranty exchange. She even read him the warranty policy word for word. He still refused. She asked for a manager, and Carlos claimed he wasn't there but that he had "sent a photo" of my phone to him. I asked to see proof of that, and he couldn't show anything--because it never happened. The customer support rep was shocked at how he was speaking to her and how blatantly he was refusing to do his job. She apologized repeatedly and told me not to let this employee represent T-Mobile as a whole. She and her manager filed a formal complaint on my behalf and resolved my issue so I would never have to deal with this location again. It's honestly embarrassing that this store is allowed to operate with customer service this bad. I wish I had read the other reviews beforehand, because clearly this location has a pattern of treating customers terribly. Every time I go there the younger girl with the black hair is just soo rude or just doesn't seem to help at all. The girl was even mean to my mom once. I went in there recently to get a screen protector under my protection plan and she wouldn't order one for me. She said I had to do that myself. After trying on my own and talking to customer service on the phone I was told that in order to get the protection and not pay I have to be in person. SO WHY DID SHE MAKE ME DO IT ON MY OWN. Like was she seriously that lazy. I waited In line for nothing and now have to go back because of her! The guys have always been great! I've had some crappy service at local TMobiles (ACADEMY LOCATION BEING THE WORST) but this one was awesome! Although they couldn't help us with what we initially went in for, he made sure we knew how to handle it in our own. Alan answered all of our questions and was super nice! We just recently transfer our accounts from AT&T and did not have the greatest experience, but Cisco was able to take his time to fix the issue. My husband was not happy with his phone a couple days after and asked to exchange it since things was not properly transferred over and did not want to risk much more time since we have a business to run. So, he spoke to Armando, and he told us we had to pay 100 for a restocking fee. I asked if possible if they can waive the fee since we already been through so much and he said it's not possible and that T--mobile would not credit as well. I called and expressed my frustration with T-Mobile directly and they kindly credit me the full amount. I would give TMOBILE & Cisco 5 stars but because Armando refused to help us or at least would have told us to call T-Mobile to try I would have given the Store a better review. When customers deal with so many issues the first few days as a new customer the manager should at least do all they can do to help, and I felt I was totally ignored and felt it was a horrible experience. read more

On Aug 6 2018 after 20 years with Sprint. I made the Switch. With T-Mobile I was able to get 3 lines of service, all of our numbers went with us, and we got 3 new smart phones. With that said, I'm still saving $80.00 each month on my bill. Smart phone charges GONE. Data access foer smart phone GONE. NO hidden charges. GONE! Called ahead was told they had the phone I wanted in stock . Waited for almost a half an hour to be told they didn't have my phone in stock. Then they tried to up sell me a higher cost phone . I honestly wouldn't be upset about this if I had gone been a walk in and they didn't have my phone. But for the guy I talked to on the phone blatantly lie to me about having in stock. Then not only did they not actually have it they tried to pressure me into a more expensive phone that I had already told them on the phone I didn't want that one. The sales manager lied to us about not charging us for 3 loaner phones that she volunteered to us while our phones were switched over. My husband asked her. "What happens if I drop it and break it since I work construction." She says, "Don't worry about it since I'm the manager." My son dropped the phone and she charged us $165.00. She not only lied but also failed to change one of the lines. The customer service is so bad. She walked to the back of the store and ignored us. I had to have another associate change my last line. I had to get a phone for my husband so I called T-Mobile. I made an appointment and met with Margaret (curbside). She is an asset to your company. She set up the phone and also put on the case and screen protector. She was very friendly and courteous. Margaret was very patient with me as I asked her several questions. I worked in customer service for many years before retiring in 2011. It felt so good to be on the receiving end of such excellent customer service given to me today by Margaret. Kudos to Margaret!!! Be expected to step in the door and no longer have privacy or personal space, the sales associates are very pushy at this location. I have to honestly ask them to leave me alone multiple times so I can browse and think and make a decision with out someone breathing down my neck. I'm going to buy a phone but let me think for a minute, gosh. They have phones, accessories and can do upgrades or new services. One thing that I would suggest is if a phone is out of stock, put a sign or something to inform the customer. Many times they have been out of the phone I'm looking at and have to drive down to another store, unnecessary waste of time for both of us. parking can be tricky at busy times, but there is a small parking lot to the side of the building that is easy to get in and out of read more
