Two years ago, my husband and I broke up with our wireless carrier at that time and rebounded quickly. We decided to go with Verizon and signed up at this location. It was around Black Friday too, so Verizon had some really great packages and some military discounts, so the heartbreak didn't last too long. Back then, a guy by the name of Justin took care of us and he was fantastic! He made sure that all applicable promotions were applied and was super patient with the phone data transfer (GUILTY as charged on the 10,000+ photos...sorry, not sorry) and made sure I did not lose a single one of the 20 different angles of dishes I ate or cooked that year and yes, of my family too. He was a really nice guy. Two years later, we came looking for Justin and we were sad to hear that he no longer worked at the shop, but we got referred to Ed who was just as wonderful and thorough. Ed also made sure that all applicable promotions were applied. When I returned to pick up the phone, he double checked to make sure that the promotion we had discussed was the better of the new promotions that went into effect between the time we ordered the phone and the time I picked up the phone at the store. Now, 20,000+ photos later, (nope, still not sorry), Ed was equally patient (and laughing with me or dare I say laughing AT me? but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say laughing WITH me) to transfer all the data over to the new phone. Ed was great at multitasking too. He was helping me and another customer at the same time, but not in a rude way, more in an efficient way. While he was on the phone with Verizon helping the other customer, he started the process on my phone while he was on hold. I was happy to be reading while waiting and socially distancing in the seating area, while Ed and the other customer was seated at Ed's workstation. Ed came over any time he had questions. Ed made it pleasant and gave us another reason as to why we had made the right choice with Verizon. After 2 years of our relationship with Verizon, our old carrier seems to be a distant memory. What was their name again? COVID-19 observations: All employees are wearing masks. Notes on Verizon: in the past year, we have enjoyed Disney+ free for one year due to the partnership with Verizon. Now that the free year has ended, we were going to sign up for the paid plan, but we found out that Verizon was offering a bundle of Disney+, ESPN and Hulu for about the same price as Disney+ by itself so that was a no brainer. Another one that seemed like she was working on getting a date in and one that seemed like she was actually working. Verizon was always my go to but these past few months I've noticed my signal showing lackluster performance to the point where I end up being lost in traffic due to my gps not recognizing my location at some points when searching the web I even have to switch to 3G in order to get service even my co workers who have t mobile / cricket get better service than me, every month there always seems to be a hidden fee (random surcharges) it is time to come to my senses and switch, here is a screen shot of my past 3 monthly bills for 2 iPhones and a hotspot jet pack with "unlimited LTE" I highly suggest you guys take your money elsewhere unless you like be robbed. read more

My husband and I went in this store to do an Android to IPhone 14 transfer. From the beginning, we received poor customer service from the lady we first met. I think her name was Gabriella, not entirely sure because she was extremely unfriendly to begin with. She first started out with a few transfer apps that were obviously frustrating her because she kept giving out an annoyed sigh. Once she got frustrated enough, she began aggressively tapping the screen of his brand new iPhone until she gave up and asked her manager if there were any other apps to transfer his data. The manager replied that there was only one way you should do that transfer and it was going to take a few hours. She understood that it would be awhile and told us it would be a nightmare getting his phone set up. So not only was she attempting to shortcut his data transfer but it had sounded like she was doing it incorrectly to get out of doing more work. We eventually took his phone back home to do it ourselves. I have not wrote a bad review about any service, anywhere, since I understand that everyone has bad days and things happen. However, this was bad. She was very rude, visibly annoyed to be helping us, and was texting the entire time she didn't have to do something on his phone. read more

By far THE worst verizon store I have ever been to. I have used them multiple times in the past year, and every single time, I have spoken with a salesperson who had no idea what they were talking about. Not only that, but they were extremely unprofessional and talked about how they were hung over or going out to party that night. This past time, in particular, I was talked into preordering the new iPhone 6s plus. I originally wanted the older version just because I wanted it that day. However, the guy told me one week and it would be in my hands. Well, today is one week, I called to see if I could pick it up, and I was informed that when I preordered, it was already on back order and I would have to wait another week or two. RIDICULOUS! They are very deceptive. He also told me that with the bundle, I could get the phone, a case, a screen protector, and an accessory (car mount) for $167. Made it sound like I was getting the phone + everything for that price, when actually I paid $167 for the other three things. The phone is being paid for monthly on my phone bill. I could have saved the $167 and gotten all of those accessories on Amazon for less than $50. I am absolutely never using this store again. read more

Nobody there seems to understand how anything you purchase will change your bill, they can't explain the fees, and then tried to charge double what the Verizon.com website was for a gift for our child. Terrible experience over the course of two days. Representatives from this location gave us misinformation on our Extended Warranty coverage causing several hours of being bounced back and forth between Assurian and Verizon before we finally got Apple involved and some solid customer care from them. We drove to Jacksonville and back to get our phone replaced, then returned to this location to pay our bill, and buy a glass screen cover. We wanted to pay cash and were told we needed exact change. We started to leave to get change and then returned as we realized the representative didn't include the screen cover in the amount we needed to pay. He became very offended when we pointed this out and asked what we owed in total, and then refused to help us walking away from us. A manager came and finished the transaction after we asked for assistance in finishing. Unbelievably poor customer care at this Verizon store!! read more

Alvin seems very confused about the Verizon billing process, and gave me the WRONG info about the monthly bill- I'm now paying $30 extra per month from what he told me I would pay- I've talked/ texted to him numerous times to get it straightened out to no avail. Also, an extra $65.00 fee was on my first bill that he and I both, had no knowledge of,, he didn't know why it was on the bill or how to remove- I paid taxes for the $800 plus phone the day I got the phone in the store, which I expected, but he always says he will get back to me- Problem will never be solved and I will be stuck with high bills for 2 years. I will never go the Richmond Hill, Verizon store again- Other reviews use the words, SCAM and JOKE- I agree- Stay away from this location. Choose a Verizon factory store instead. Cellular Sales misrepresent themselves as Verizon Wireless. I found out the hard way. I paid the early termination on my Verizon account and thought that I was done, but one day I received a notice from some attorney's office saying that since Cellular Sales was not Verizon, that I owed them an additional $430 to pay off the smartphone I got when I initiated my account, since my Verizon account was no longer active. They conveniently did not explain that they were not Verizon, don't be misled by their Verizon shirts and the signs on the building. read more

Yea, a huge joke. We spent a bunch of money changing from Sprint. Bought 2 phones, top notch phones I might add, with $400 in accessories. They gave us free pads (cheap ones), and never said it would cost us an additional $40 per month for the lines. In fact, he was stressing how we could use them with our mobile hotspot. Then Alvin said he would fix this since it was a misunderstanding. He said, bring the pads back (they were still in the box and never used), and the problem will be taken care of. He never mentioned it would cost each of us $166 for cancellation fee. When we called him about it, he ignored us. He promised us $600 in rebates - one military rebate and one rebate for changing from Sprint to Verizon. That was May....haven't seen a rebate yet, even though we went back in the interim to try and solve these problems. He has cost us over $1500 in phone bills in less than 3 months. Ridiculous! Dont believe all these Google ratings either. It doesn't seem right, because I've run into plenty of disgruntled customers here in town. This isnt even a true Verizon store....its Cellular Sales. Go to Savannah, you will be better served. read more

I would recommend not going to an "authorized dealer" or at least not this one! Long story short, they charge you fees that a corporate store wouldn't "to transfer your information from one phone to another". The sad part is they never even transferred any information. They also send you on your way without giving you all the details needed to get your rebate or switch your service. This place is terrible! Wow! I have never experienced such low customer service level in my entire life. Today we have tried to purchase a new phone and they wouldn't sell it to us for the mysterious reason that it could be sold ONLY to the eligible for the upgrade customers (if you sign for a 2 year contract). We were willing to pay a full price for the devise, but still heard "no" to our request. They were implying that this is Verizon corporate policy, which Verizon customer service, that I've reached over the phone was not aware of. Then we have called this exact store again and some incredibly well-mannered "gentlemen" said first that this is Verizon corp policy, then I confronted him with my previous conversation with the corporate office if Verizon and he replied: "well, then it is our store policy" and hung up on me. First we were promised 2g of data free and after we got the phones found out the only way we could get it was if we switched plans and paid more money. We weren't happy but let it go.
