We had lightning hit our property which took out a bunch of electronics including our Yamaha RX-V 683 receiver. Web search indicated these guys as a service center and the reviews were positive. So I loaded up and headed that way as I had another errand in the same neighborhood. Lugged the unit in, set it on the counter where the man (owner) said "What you got there?". "My dead Yamaha AV receiver.". "We don't work on audio anymore.". Hmm. Geez. Most of their reviews are for audio stuff. He said they really only work on TVs now. Posted as a PSA. Call before you haul. And they need to get their listing on Yamaha's Service Centers page removed.

Replacement of that TV would have been over $2000. As an added bonus, he reinstalled my sound bar and subwoofer in the way that it should have been installed from the beginning and the sound is 100 times better. I cannot recommend this business in any stronger terms. Check with them before you throw away a TV that can be saved.

BG has lost me as a customer back in 2018, to EBay. EBay gift cards are also free to use with no transaction fees. Also a few of the companies even on eBay will accept money orders as well. I thought nothing of it. Now here we are 4 months later and I am still paying the device payment plan for it, and the monthly service fee for it. I've had both AT&T and Best Buy on the line together no fewer than 2 times to resolve the issue. I spent hours on the phone with AT&T. The conclusion? As part of the refund process, it is on Best Buy to cancel out the Device Payment Plan that is linked to the device. They didn't. AT&T has nothing on their records showing that this process has taken place. Now I'm on the phone with AT&T. Kevin and Imrant at Best Buy, who is a specialist for things regarding issues with communication between Best Buy and AT&T is stalling me to talk to someone to get this resolved. This has been 4 months. My only recommendation is that if you have to do ANYTHING with a carrier avoid Best Buy I hear horror stories all the time and figured "It's an iPad, surely they can ring it up" then "Surely they can handle a return.".

The initial representative was incredibly aggressive, refusing a simple callback and forcing me to wait on hold. When a man finally picked up claiming to be from "delivery," it became obvious he and the first agent were wrking together to waste my time. I was repeatedly put on hold for 5-minute increments for no reason. While waiting on the line, I actually caught them laughing together at my expense. It was deeply disrespectful and humiliating. ​To make matters worse, they flat-out lied to me. They claimed Best Buy only offers a 12-hour delivery window (7 AM to 7 PM), which is false. They then mocked me with a ridiculous "solution," claiming they would deliver my item on Monday but wouldn't haul away the old one or install the new one until Tuesday. Sure enough, my Best Buy app updated to show a standard 3 PM to 7 PM window for today, proving everything they told me was a fabricated lie just to mess with me. ​It is heartbreaking that 15 years of loyalty means nothing to this team. They played games with my time, lied about company policy, and literally laughed at a customer on the phone. A corporate supervisor needs to investigate who was on the phones immediately. Until this is resolved, I am taking a complete break from shopping at Best Buy.
