Caleb, the store manager, convinced me to switch from a personal to a business account, telling my I'd save a few bucks a month. Why not, right? Well I get the bill and it's more than double what I was paying before. Looking into it, he didn't transfer over my previous trade in credit, which was not disclosed to me. He also didn't disclose that the fees and surcharges for the business account would be much higher than what I was paying on the personal. He also added a third line to our account "to transfer the service over" but didn't disclose that I'd be charged a monthly fee for this dummy line that goes nowhere. Now I'm not one to resort to reviews, preferring so solve this face to face, but since this happened he's been avoiding my calls and texts. I even went into the store physically and was told he was moved to another store. Can't get through on the Verizon customer service line either because the verification won't go through and apparently there is no way around this. Extremely frustrated and wishing I'd never walked into the store. Exceptionally poor service after the fact. Either he doesn't know what he's doing or he intentionally swindled me. read more

I spent the last 3 weeks trying to get internet service that I contracted with Verizon to provide. They lost the equipment that was shipped to me which included space on their system. Since they lost the equipment they are cancelling the order and the space on the system they sold me. Their story is that the space reserved for me will no longer be available when they cancel the order as their system wont allow them to provide me what i already had. This is without a doubt the worst customer service I have received from any company ever. Their answer to everything is that the system wont allow it, and that means no one there is accountable for anything. read more

I stepped into this location to inquire about my bill. I was then upsold to a plan that promised to lower my bill as well as provide me with new phones for the lines on my plan .Instead of my bill being lowered it has now increased over $600 when previously it was around $300. When I go back to inquire of why my bill has increased I speak to Christian who had sold me on this plan. Christian then goes ahead and swears that he will get this fixed. I go ahead and pay it that month hoping that Christian had fixed my bill for the next month and get the promised rate which roughly $240. I receive my second bill and it was over $550. I go back to the store and ask him once again why am I still receiving an outrageous bill. Christian then speaks to the manager and states we'll fix this. For the second time I was told this and was told to remove myself off autopay while they got it fixed. 3 weeks had passed and I received no call from Christian or the manager. I go ahead and call customer service and ask what is going on with my bill. The representative goes ahead and explains to me that Christian not only upsold me on a plan but they had no way to bring it down to what was promised and that I was given misinformation by Christian. I recommend going elsewhere unless you want to deal with crooks. Christian was just out to get his commission and didn't care to scam people to do so. I have been a loyal customer for over 13 years and you would think they would treat their customers better. I WOULD AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. read more

After a very dissatisfying experience at the 7th Street and Bell location, we went here to swap out a new but not properly functioning Samsung S25+. This was pre-arranged through corporate so the experience was as close to flawless as you can get. The sales person "T.." was polite, knowledgeable of the product line and efficient. This place is a joke. Came in a few weeks ago THINKING about buying a fitbit. Of course they were able to not only have me convinced to buy it but had it rang up & in a bag & out the door in less than 10 minutes. The sales guy eliminated my uncertainty with the "if it doesn't work out for you, you can always bring it back". Well here I am, trying to bring it back, I have been standing here waiting for way longer than any return should ever take. They keep saying "oh we only have 2 people working", but I see 4. Other than the 2 employees actually working there's a manager (who evidently doesn't work) & a girl standing off to the side texting. When I asked if she could help me she said her job is "to check people in". Been standing here for 15min so far and still not being helped. Yes Verizon is expensive but it has good connection in the US. But when I had my IPhone 7s it was getting bad connection. Also my cousin had connection problems until we upgraded phones. But the IPhone MaxS still has some connection problems. I was in a different state and my connection just lost. My brother and dads phone had connectionn but mine. I hate when they make your phone go slow just so you can upgrade. It is the manufactured fault thou. They have some good deals like buy a phone get one free. Love the unlimited data plan. Hated when we had to pay for gbs. read more

I specifically told PERRY more than once that I DO NOT want the device protection plan for my phone and he added it anyway! It wasn't an accident as they get a commission. Beware, as this is outright FRAUD and I've filed a complaint with the FTC and State Atty General's office as this became a MAJOR HASSLE to remove! If nothing is done they will keep getting away with this! On Tuesday, February 25, 2020 AD I visited this Verizon location. This location is a Verizon company store, so the prices are much better! This store is located in a strip mall. I've wanted to buy a new tablet for a few years; the technology had eclipsed what I was using. Daniel B. explained my options, helped find the right tablet for my needs and suggested some accessories. Daniel set everything up for me and I was out the door happy. The entire transaction took about 25 minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend this Verizon company store location - ask for Daniel B. - he is great! Went in to Verizon today to use our eligible phone upgrades. We made an appointment online so we were seen within 5 minutes. This is a busy location so I definitely recommend to make an appointment. Taylor helped us with our purchases. He was very friendly and helped recommend a few items. He was also very efficient so we were out in 30min with brand new phones. Make sure to back up your phone to iCloud/computer before you go in so your all set to switch phones since they do have many new phones in stock. If they don't, they will ship them to you for free 2 day shipping which is nice. They also have the option to check other stores for phones if you want it sooner. Taylor was very nice with checking with other stores and calling around since we wanted a specific color. We ended up changing our mind though and went with the phones in stock. Phone cases can be expensive from the store but they do run deals during holidays and when you get a new phone so make sure to ask. Otherwise I just purchase from amazon. We are loving our new iPhone 8pluses. Quick to setup and loving the features. We have had Verizon were awhile and though it can be more pricey, the service beats any other provider. They partner with a lot of business's for discounts so make sure to ask about your employer discounts! I work for USAA and we got a 20% off discount from our monthly bill which is awesome! My husband went to the store to ask questions about our phones. He was told it would be an hour, maybe an hour and a half. It was more than 2 hours. He watched people come in and if they had an issue with their phone, the were taken care of pretty quickly. They told my husband he needed to speak to a specialist. I guess they all aren't specialist, and only specialist have knowledge about your account and programs. Very poor customer service. read more

I have been a Verizon customer for quite some time. I have always had excellent customer service at the stores as well as over the phone. The price point is a little higher than the other competitors but I never minded since the customer service was always excellent. Until just about 3 weeks ago. I had upgraded my dad's phone and was unable to get it activated and the phone support was not helpful and advised me to go into a store. I was the first customer inline that day. Dyonna assisted me. When I explained to her what I was there for and what I had tried already with the phone support, she seems uninterested and proceeded to go through the motions on the phone like she knew what she was doing not acknowledging what I was saying or tried. She got the same outcome I had at home. I couldn't help but to think that if she had listened to what I had already tried, we could've avoided her repeating it. And then when she found out that is was a prepaid plan, her demeanor changed to even worse. I already felt like she didn't value me as a customer and after learning that the phone was a prepaid plan, her attitude got even worse. She proceeded to go through the motions on the phone not saying anything or telling me what she was doing, then she took the phone to the back and didn't say anything and came back with another SIM card. All the while just going through the motions without telling me what she was doing. Next thing I know, she pushes the phone toward me and says it's ready after that's done updating, or whatever the phone was doing. I waited until the phone was done and I used my phone to call and send texts to it and it worked. Dyonna this whole time, had been walking back and forth and never once asked if the phone was ok or finished. I gathered up my things and left after I was sure the phone was working. Her customer service or lack of is a real disappointment to me. If my dad had gone in on his own, there would've been a bit of a communication barrier since English is not his fist language and he doesn't feel comfortable speaking up. I shudder to think about the experience he would've had if he had encountered Dyonna. Who knows how long my dad would've been standing there unsure if his phone was done or not and no way to check it. Or how impatient she would've been with him because of the language barrier. read more

Verizon keeps sending me mail telling me I could get 5g internet service at my home. My son lives just 2 streets over from me and I always see that people in my neighborhood have 5g service. I contacted Verizon to ask about changing over to their service only to be told that they had to run a credit check on me and then when I refused that they told me that 5 g internet was not available in my area odd how that works. How is it one part of a neighborhood can get service, but another can't. Sound fishy to me and Verizon should not offer it if it is not available in the area. Person on the chat could not explain why. Sad that they will keep sending mail to you but not give you service they say they can. read more

I have been a customer for MANY years. This store always has a 2 hour wait. So I always go online to make an appointment. Today, I was greeted by the store manager. He asked me to wait 10 min while he looked into my billing issue. I waited 30 min. Then went up to him, "excuse me. How you found out anything?" His answer was, "no, I haven't even looking into it - I've got other people to help and a whole store to run". I told him my bill increased by $100 unexpectedly - he eyes got wide and he just stared at me. Seriously? This is the store manager? I drove straight to T Mobile down the street. What do dentists, proctologists, and cell phone companies all have in common? Yes, that's correct-no one wants to visit any of them. Verizon is doing its best to change that. Since I'm "blessed" to have four phones (no I'm not bitter) on my plan, upgrading at least one of them a year requires a trip to this Verizon location. Each visit has been professional with the expected but not overly pushy amount of upselling one expects when going to these stores. There is a certain IT component I've come to expect during this process and Verizon does a terrific job of training to make sure each Rep is fully able to transfer contacts, pictures, videos, apps to your new phone. They do it cheerfully and without giving you the sense they would rather be chasing the next customer/commission. Honestly they may work without commission given how chill they are. The P got the new IPhone 7, fair price, cool phone, and the ability to save an extra 25% on a case since we purchased a new phone. We passed on the case as I think you can get better deals on Amazon but it's still a good deal for some customers. Verizon is clearly the cell phone leader and they put space between them and their nearest competitor every time I do business with them. read more

Finally they had me call the Verizon support number and they were able to get me the promotion. While I was there the store got robbed and the police had to come. HANDS DOWN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! The associates are not only condescending and will talk down to you in the utmost negative way but THROUGHLY enjoy saying that you're wrong! I understand you might not want to service my phone for 10 minutes to replace my screen but that is part of your job! Somebody please spend time with these associates to educate them on how to RESPECTFULLY communicate with clients. Oh and don't forget to teach them body language, a client should never have an associate roll their eyes at them and acting like they're a nescience. THE WORST CLIENT TREATMENT AND OVERALL EXPERIENCE! Is there a 0 stars option? Here is another kicker, if you ask to make an appointment to come back later the associates will lie to your face and say that they do not offer appointments! If appointments are not available then why is there an option for it on the Verizon site??
