I was expecting to wait around 20 minutes to be helped but I was helped in about 10 minutes. I am a 72 Year old widow. Even though I have a master's degree, I am technically challenged when it comes to telephones.Meg at the Verizon store went above and beyond the call of duty to help transfer everything from my phone that no longer would hold a charge, to the new phone that Verizon had overnighted to me. She connected my new phone to the speaker I purchased and also set up blue tooth in my car. She even took the time to mail my defective phone back to Verizon. She totally took charge and made what could have been a very stressful situation into a relaxing one. read more

I went in yesterday to trade in my phone for a new iPhone 6S Plus. Ali helped me (with backup from Theresa the manager). The team work in the store was evident with the manager backing people up. Ali was competent, quick and cheerful. All went off without a hitch. Great staff here, good music, fun videos to watch while you are waiting for things to backup and download. great customer service by Troy. We moved from a blackberry to a galaxy S7 and Troy was very helpful explaining everything and the new plan we qualified for is GREAT! Don't go here. This is the heart of bad knowledge by employee's. Manager is awesome, but his people have no idea how to treat a customer. Never again will I go to this branch. I wasted three hours of my time just to use my insurance that the guy wouldn't even help me figure out. What a waste of my precious time. Oh... and I called ahead of time to try an get on a waiting list or avoid going to the store... eventually, the automated system told me to come into the branch an hung up on me. I could go on and on about how bad this was.... but there is no point. Verizon has now surpassed Qwest/Century Link for the worst service EVER. I've had a host of issues and moved up the ranks of service from store associates, to the general manager of the store and finally to the district manager and it got worse the higher I went. It must be in ingrained in the corporate culture to do the worst possible job you can for the customers. Maybe they get paid bonuses for this approach to service? Do your homework before going in. David G and possibly other employees will take advantage of you. My sister went in to add a line to our plan and get a new phone. David G convinced her that it was cheaper to create a new phone plan and then transfer her line to our plan. David G did not even look up my plan to actually compare plan details or notice that my account receives a discount through my employer. My sister was signed up with a much more expensive plan (she didn't know the details of my plan, expecting David G to match it), and did not receive any discounts on her accessories (which I receive through my employer discount program). I have since transferred my sister's account to my plan but she was never refunded the accessory discounts or the difference in plan price for the pro-rated period even after going in to the store twice to resolve this. I've decided not to go back to this location or even deal with them over the phone because it is apparent that it will be more trouble than it is worth. Like many other Verizon customers, I'll just have to eat it. They will never address this Yelp review. Prove me wrong. read more

Every time...every time we get a new smartphone (we have five on our plan) something gets screwed up. Last time it screwed up my husbands work email when I got a new phone (go figure) and made him look bad for his clients who contact him via email. Lots of time wasted figuring out what was going wrong. This time, my daughter was going out of town and we wanted her to have a new phone. She got the phone and it would not make calls and it would not let her use data and when she texted someone it came from my husbands email address. They sent her a new sim card while she was out of town, and it didn't work either. Much time lost on the phone, again, trying to figure it out, then going to the Tatum and Shea location to sit and wait for someone to deal with it. We have been with Verizon for years and years. I wish I could give them a 0! When we arrived it was about 3:40. We walked in and the manager (forgot his name) asked us to sign us in. I said if you could pull up my account real quick it is very complicated. He sort of cut me off and said well I am here just to sign you in and we have six people ahead of you... Well, sitting in a store with a five year old until 4:30. We are finally called and a blonde girl who had been there only about a month, she admitted, was in charge of trying to settle this. I explained the WHOLE situation again and when she ran it by the manager she came out and said that there was nothing they could do because the accounts were locked due to pending transactions. At this point I just about lost it. The blonde and the manager said although it may take only about a half hour to process the cancellation from Jasmine, it could take up to 24 hours to clear... None of this was related to me and I had now wasted an hour of my time sitting and waiting. I asked to speak to the manager again and when he came out he looked annoyed. I said with everything going on this all could have been avoided from when I asked you to pull my account. If you had done just that, you could have said from the beginning that my account was blocked. He said that his job was just to sign people in and it would not have been fair to bypass the six other people. I said that I was not asking him to actually do any maintenance or sales. I was asking him to just look at my account and review the notes. He repeats himself and said no disrespect to me, and nothing personal, but that's not what he can do. He was there to sign people in and could not bypass the other six people. At this point I was about to blow. Instead of going off on everyone there I just turned around and left. At this point, all I am asking for is for Verizon to honor the promotion Justin presented to me yesterday. I want to trade in my phones for the iPhone 6, change from the two year contract to the new Verizon 6 GB plan and I want to have $300 credited towards our purchase for the new phones OR I'll accept a statement credit. So my 6 week phone is not holding a charge - even with a Mophie. I am told by MATT that it is not the mophie it is the phone. He tells me i have to get a new phone but not a NEW PHONE a new used phone because mine is pass the 14 day return policy. I get new phone and take in today. Sean assists me and I tell him the situation. Hmmmmmm - yes the mophie works, yes your phone will charge with it you just need to turn it on. Now why wouldn't MATT have told be that and saved me hours of time???? Thinking maybe, just maybe Verizon should train better or MATT should pay attention better. Thanks for YOUR HELP SEAN! Omar is by far the best Verizon representative I have ever worked with, I've never seen anybody go above and beyond like he did. We've been with Verizon for almost 15 years now always had a regular personal consumer account and no one ever told us about the benefits of switching to a business account and all the extra perks until we worked with Omar and he got us going with that! He also set us up with the new HUM service from Verizon for our two cars and I can't tell you how much of an amazing product it is! I'm giving this store one star as zero is not an option. I attempted to order a phone online and it had an In store pick up option so I called to determine that it would be ready by store closing. A manager, josh, answered the phone and told me to just come into the store instead because he couldn't promise that my In store pick would be ready but the store could process a new order. I was very irritated as I had gone through the entire checkout process but needed to catch a flight so rushed over to the store. I waited for 20 minutes before Greg came to assist me. I told him I knew exactly what I wanted so this should be quick. He returned with my new phone and a screen protector which I never even asked for and he added it on to my transaction as if I had to purchase it. After he input my account info he asked for a signature which at that point I asked what insurance he selected. He never asked me and again defaulted to what he thought I should have. I said please change it to the one I wanted. He began loudly questioning me as to why I didn't want the coverage he selected. I was beyond irritated at this point and rolled my eyes at his aggressive behavior. At that point he lost his mind and started yelling at me that I would be without a phone with my insurance for 3 days and made a comment about me rolling my eyes. It was actually scary, he then slammed iPad down and threw my credit card on the counter. I cannot believe they would hire such unstable and unprofessional people. Any man that screams at a woman clearly has major issues. They need to reexamine who they hire. read more

Similar to the other reviews I too went from liking this store to finding it has the worst customer service ever. We also were 'misled' about getting a FREE tablet and have discovered that its not free, we are paying monthly for it. If we dont want it then they told us to do a buy back for $260 - WHY? The salesperson (who no longer works there of course!) told us it was free but the manager told me the salesperson had put it on the Edge Plan so now they are asking me to pay to get it off my account. The manager NICK MATH was horrid, had no emotion and really didn't care. I said we had been with Verizon for many many years and might switch companies as we were very disappointed with the service, he said go ahead and that the new company would be able to take over our numbers! Wow. The funny thing is when i called the main Customer Service center about another issue i had with this store a couple of weeks ago they told me this store sucks and they get so many complaints about it. I just received my third HTC phone from Verizon. The first one (new, supposedly) quit in about two weeks, the second one lasted about 4 months and wasn't even programmed to talk to cell towers., I had to do myself while a rep walked me through this very technical procedure. As for third phone, I called a rep and they directed me to a store, so I went to this store. The sales rep, an older man, was very patronizing, and said he would order replacement which I would receive the next day. That did not happen and when I called Verizon, I found that he had never placed the order. The order was placed with the Verizon phone rep and did get today. I pleaded with them to be able to change to a different brand, but was told that couldn't happen. The store manager was very rude when I tried to explain re the phone not being ordered and his attitude made me realize just how little individual customers mean to Corporate America. Anyway, here I am on my third phone in six months. Wonder how long this one will last? read more
