It was time for an upgrade and luckily Verizon is having a deal where you can get up to $800 on qualified trade ins. Where else can you get that great of a deal for an iPhone 14 Pro?! Our salesperson was Sebastian who was awesome! We bought a phone from him the other day for myself and came back to get one for my daughter. I learned that you shouldn't use the plug from your old phone for your new phone because it will overheat the battery. He set up the box that we have to send our phone back in and told us that we have 30 days to mail our old phone back to them. The box already had a UPS label so all I had to do was drop it off at a UPS Store. We also bought a screen protector which he carefully put on for us after he made sure there were no finger prints or smudges on the screen. He told us about the warranty on the screen protector and that we should register to take advantage of it if we ever need to replace the protector. I have been very fortunate and have never had an issue with this location (knock on wood). read more

Two weeks ago, my phone randomly told me it had no SIM installed. After fighting with it for over an hour, it fixed itself and I had no issues until this past Friday. On Friday, once again I got the same message and I did everything I could to fix it. Installed updates, restarted the phone, even took the SIM card in and out, and none of this permanently fixed it. I'd be lucky if my phone worked for a few minutes before showing the message again. Needless to say, my friend who is way more tech savvy than I am told me to go to Verizon and I did just that. Time for a new phone or battery . Bought my iPhone here and it's 13 months old but my battery is a going so I'm thinking something needs to change . Apple making their phones to only work good for two years or less without problems . My old iPhones would last at least 4 years but now I think the greed is happening with products not lasting much now my phone is acting up not keeping a stupid charge to last more than a few hours. My fiancé is an attorney who has his office number with XO communications. He was recently told that Verizon bought XO and shut it down. There is no one to talk to to release his phone number and no one at Verizon knows anything about it. Meanwhile none of his clients were can reach him or his law office. Its a nightmare!!! He calls everyday and spends hours on the phone ( during our vacation) on his personal T-Mobile cell number and now Verizon has shut down his business line! He is just asking them to port his business number to T-Mobile so he can continue his law practice. He has talked to at least a dozen Verizon people, asked for supervisors and had 3 way calls with T-mobile on the line. It gets no where. No progress in over a week. Each day it's more of the same. Four years ago I bought a car charger and never would've thought it would last this long. I was amazed at Verizon for building such an awesome product. Thank you so much I will always do business with you. The only reason I broke up was because I kept moving it in and out of the truck this year. I knocked and the manager, (female - wish I had her name) would not allow me back in the store because they were closing! No one addressed me and when I approached a salesman he said I had to wait until someone was finished. i am not sure why appointments are offered if they are not honored. I came here to open a line and buy an iPhone 12 Pro Max 128gb in full 4 days ago. The Colombian guy that attended me lied to me the entire sale. I used my knowledge as leverage to act clueless to see how much more false information he would give me. Verizon has had a common issue where the phone loses service when switching from 5G to LTE or vice versa. (I came to find this out after dealing with minimal to no service the 72 hours I had their service) In order to eliminate that loss of connection, he tells me to turn off 5G completely. He then tells me 5G is only available in two areas in Pembroke Pines for ANY CARRIER anyway so it doesn't matter. I can only imagine how many others have been screwed over with that lie. Mind you, I have a 12 pro max with T-Mobile and have 5G practically anywhere in broward with no issue. What's the point of owning the latest $1200 phone with a $130 monthly Verizon bill if I can't use 5G with Verizon? Anyways, he then tells me he had no 128gb in graphite only 256gb. That sounds like an up-sale to me. Go figure, when I left the store I called an hour later and they said they had a graphite 128gb in stock. Fast forward 2 days, the service is terrible, even on 5G I would not pass 20mbps download speed, can't load anything in any app even with 3 bars of signal via LTE. I hit boiling point with the cellular service, and decided to return the phone and cancel the service. Customer service rep on the phone was at home with a baby screaming and running around everywhere. I couldn't believe they don't have a call center dedicated to Verizon after having a reputation of being the leader in cellular service. Spoke to another customer service rep Mark, seemed to understand my frustration and tells me he waved the restock fee of the phone, and my next step is to go back to the store I purchased the phone from to return it. Of course, the Colombian associate tells me there's no note on the account about it. The manager then comes along (a young girl in her early 30's or late 20's) and tells me the same. She explains to me (aka lies to me) there's nothing she can do. I end up getting refunded $1233 instead of $1283 that I originally paid back to my debit card, and tells me to take it upon customer service the next day for the $50 return fee which I had already done that. I just got off the phone with another customer service rep named Ross. He was very nice, and understanding and issued a $50 check from Verizon to my billing address after the account gets updated to a $0 balance which is after the Verizon warehouse receives the returned phone. Let's see how long that's going to take, and let's also see if Verizon doesn't charge me after I canceled the line after barely 72hours of use. In conclusion, Verizon sucks. Their 5G coverage is terrible.Terrible data speeds, their return policy, and their employees at this branch. I will never in my life refer anyone, or personally purchase any service from them again. The customer service is really horrible. We went here since we are due for an upgrade. We were "helped" by an Africa American associate who really did not want to be there. He was unresponsive to all our questions and gave us the impression he couldn't wait for us to get out of there..so he could leave for the day. If there is a manager here, they need to really reconsider how customers are treated. We have been with Verizon for more than 10 years now..and are thinking of switching to at&t just because of this. My experience was very dissatisfying, I was in the store 4 hours and standing up, there was not even a chair to seat. The agent who assisted me was nice at first and then she was very rude, despite that I was transferring 4 line from T Mobile and buying 2 I Phone on the spot. At the end of the transaction I ask her to transfer my information to my new phone and she said no, that was only done as a courtesy and that was my own responsibility, so I left with a blank phone . I left without a copy of the transaction. In fact I do not know exactly how much is my monthly bill, next day she sent me and e mail with the information for my first bill, the consecutive months I still do not know what is my monthly bill be. The only reason Im putting the 5 stars is because of one person there: Trenell. The best customer service and technical support representative at a cellphone store. I have been there several times with different problems and issues, device replacements, changing plans, for my husband's phone and mine, and I can't say that I have ever come out of the store without a solution or unresolved issue. Trenell has patience to explain and review what technical issues might be happening with our devices, always offer tips and advice on updates and has no problem if we have any questions about our plans and pricing (he's actually on the technical support area). Unfortunately they are liars. The guys try to tell you that if you don't buy a hotspot device and just use your phone your phone will be ruined. I bought into this and bought a device for 45$ plus 2GB for a total of 90$. Once I spoke with my bf who told me I could use my phone as a hotspot with no damage to my phone I tried to return it. Granted we showed up here at 8:45 pm (after an epic fail at nearby Best Buy) when the store closes at 9:00... This isn't by any means the fault of the employees but they cannot price match their own company website, in store. So we went in for a cell phone that was advertised at $50 online and cost $300 in store. The sales associates were nice about trying to offer different options such as purchasing it online and then picking up in store... I asked how long that process would take and he said 15-20 minutes. So I suggested that we just do that while standing there in the store and the guy said that wouldn't work because they would be closed by the time we were done with the process. I thought that was kind of shitty of him to say. I understand being an hourly employee and all, and wanting to go home after a long days work... But was disappointed with that response. When you see how badly a customer wants something and when they are being nice about it and not giving you attitude, going that extra mile makes a big difference. Horrible customer service from the manager, Jim. We took a little extended vacation and since we came back my wife's phone has been loosing signal, mostly saying 'No Service'. So we went to the Verizon store for some help. After waiting 13 minutes for someone to ask us if we had been helped, finally someone started helping us. The associate asked for our information, and then asked for my Driver License, well I had left my wallet home, but my wife has hers and I have a picture of my license on my phone. Nope, not good enough, since I am the main person on the account (4 phones), I need to have my driver license. So he asked the manager Jim, who said that it was Florida law that they had to ask for a driver license (wrong Jim), I mentioned to him that it might be store policy, but it's not Florida law, I also told him that I had a picture of my driver license and could give him any account information he wanted, and that my wife also had her driver license with her. Manager Jim refused to help us. I mentioned to him that we had just gotten back and that it might be something simple with the settings or location, yet he still refused to help. Jim, very poor customer service, specially for a so-called store manager, and in front of several other customer who were there. This is the worst experience I have had a any cellphone company ever. I was in this store on yesterday I walked in and patiently awaited for help. The first available rep was Gil, I proceeded to tell him my issue and he instantly became annoyed. I had purchased a hotspot device a week prior right after hurricane Irma when I was without power, the same day I purchased the device the power came on I never even took the device out the bag the entire week. I paid 31.74 for the device and was told I could return it in 14 days that's it period. Gil told me I would have to pay Verizon $35 to restock the unused item. I told him I was never told that and for that reason, the company needed to reimburse me. He was unapologetic, face angry Shrugging his shoulders and blatantly anoid. I ask for a district manager number he said he was not authorized to give me and he walked away while I was talking to him in mid sentence. I spoke with the general manager Charlotte who made excuses for his bad behavior mentioned that he was the top Verizon salesman in Florida. I told her countless times how offended I was and she basically said oh well I had to pay and she didn't believe her employer could act in such a manor. Once I ask for her district manager she offered half the amount but I declined took her manager number and told her I was going to call, email, and review the store. I left the store, called her manager and instantly now Charlotte decided she could help me. I have never felt so disrespected by any company ever, I was sold something without all the information and then insulted instead of them accepting their part in the situation. Switched from AT&T to Verizon and were told that our iPhone 7s would work with Verizon. After the contract was signed 2 out of 6 iphones were not working. Spent 6 hours restoring our phones and trouble shooting and couldn't get two of the iPhone 7s to work. Then they made us visit apple, Visited apple and apple was not able to replace the phones. So we returned back to Verizon where the solutions manager Jim really managed to offer no solutions to the problem. When we told Jim we already visited apple he went and called apple himself because he did not believe from us that apple didn't replace our phones. After which Jim was rude and condescending states "I did not have to call apple for you", when we never asked him to. On top of it he offered no compensation or solution as to why our unlocked iPhone 7s were not working. Forced us to buy new iPhone 7s when we already had iPhone 7s. When asked Jim why we were told our phones would work and why he hasn't trained his employees to be knowledgeable on which phones work his answer was "I wasn't here the day before and that today is my first day". Terrible service. Jim's only solution was to buy a new iPhone from Verizon and sell my old ones online. Poor solution to a problem that was not my fault. Scammed us into signing a contract and buying new phones from them without telling us our phones wouldn't work. If you're thinking of switching think twice. We went to upgrade my dad's phone and while doing so the employee William told me that we would be able to get out of our tablet contract on that same line with no extra fee, I just had to come back and do it tomorrow. Well I just went back there and now they are saying that it will cost $75 to cancel each tablet, I have three of them. This employee was totally wrong telling me this, and they are doing nothing to rectify the situation. William was also clueless about current promotions. He never once told us about the buyback program for my dad to get paid for his old phone in exchange for a new phone. I had to ask him about it, and after him leaving to go check came back and told me I was right. This employee should be fired. Not only is he uneducated about the business but he also has lied to his customers to get the sale that he wanted.
