Victra offered me some 36 month promotions to bring our phone bill down to what ATT was offering. One year later one of the promotions was flagged as an error and was removed from my account AND I was charged back the total amount of the promotion. Just spent 3 hours on the phone with Verizon to rectify and will still need to call back next month. Beware of bad practices. read more

My mother added a line for a phone that was supposed to be free via monthly billing credits, she was then charged every month for the phone. She was told she would save money by switching to a business account but they never closed out her residential service. Very scammy. First, Steve ruined my daughters Christmas gift by not making sure she didn't get a text when I ordered her a new phone 2 appx 2 weeks before Christmas. I clearly stated to him that this was a Christmas gift for her. Additionally, I told him I had $250 Verizon GC to put towards phone, pay for anything she "had" to have. He told me there was nothing, I couldn't pay towards phone, all charges had to go on bill. When she picked up the phone she had to pay the 6% sales tax for the phone. On $1010 dollar phone. Why wasn't that on the bill? Customer service reached out to me yesterday to see if there was anything else I needed. I told him my issues with the above. He, Art, seemed very blasé towards my dissatisfaction. Not going there again. I recommend doing business with another location. UPDATE: I see that they replied by giving me an email address "in case I'd like to offer more details." SERIOUSLY?! All the details are pretty clear above. Thank you for nothing. In May 2023, I decided to switch from AT&T to Verizon because I saw that they offered significant discounts if you purchase mobile and home internet, which they in fact do. I visited the Verizon store in Langhorne (the one in the shopping center with Bonefish Grill and Golf Galaxy), in order to switch carriers. At the time I had two iPhone 11's and the salesman told me that if I traded them in I could get iPhone 14s for free. I decided to get one iPhone 14 and one iPhone 14 plus. I asked the salesman if that would be possible (given that the iPhone plus was more expensive than the standard iPhone) and he said it would be, the only caveat was that I would have to pay the difference between the cost of the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 plus which was approximately $100. As it turns out that was not true. After receiving my first monthly bill, I found that the cost of the iPhone 14 plus was actually $10 a month for 36 months which totals $360, as opposed to the $100 that was stated at the time I switch plans. I spoke with Verizon about this and they were unable to correct the issue. Additionally, at the time that I switched services, I was signed up for phone protection plans, which I never agreed to (the were approximately $15 per phone, per month). As it turns out this store and all other stores in the area are not actually operated by Verizon. They are operated by a company named Victra, which is contracted with Verizon to operate their stores. Doing a little research (after the fact, unfortunately) I found that Victra has a very bad reputation for scamming customers. I highly recommend that people stay away from the store because their sales people are not truthful. If you do decide to go to the store (or any other Verizon store operated by Victra), I highly recommend that you review the full terms of any transaction or agreement before signing anything. read more

Original review: You can't trust them. They sell you a deal, misrepresent the terms of the deal, and then later deny that those terms were ever possible. They are also rude. My experience with Verizon hasn't always been this disconcerting, but I have now had multiple poor experiences with different employees at this location. Some transactions have been good, and some so-so, and some just super suck. Record the details of your transaction and keep that record. Maybe then they won't be so glib and misleading. Addendum to my review (11/1/19): Shortly after I submitted my review, I was contacted by a regional manager for GoWireless named Mallory. Mallory was very understanding and helpful in trying to address my concerns. She offered to assist me one-on-one at the local location, and did so, even though it was out of her way. If not for Mallory, I would likely no longer be a Verizon customer. Thank you Mallory. The level of service outside of Mallory is inconsistent at best. However, with new leadership and Mallory's professionalism and attention to customer service, hopefully this location will turn around, and her level of intervention will no longer be necessary. Now there is nothing they can do, and our bill is over $100 more than what we were told it would be. Went in to switch my service from AT&T to Verizon. I walk in and the service people chilling on the couch I had to look around because I thought the store was empty! When someone finally said hello i explained why I was there. The trainee first complained that she hadn't ported a prepaid # then acted like she was doing me a favor by workin! The knowledgeable person indicated that the company had been having issues porting numbers as of late so it didn't make me super comfy that my issue could be resolved. What was the most disturbing is despite the lazy greeting I received upon entry as others entered the store the greeting afforded them was stellar. At the end of the day, I was unable to port my phone because I didn't know my current acct number. Needless to say I won't be back and I even questioned if I should switch at all. read more

At the Langhorne Go Wireless store, Chase added some type of Advantage Plan for $80 without asking me if I wanted it (which I didn't), gave me a headset and car charger (that I didn't want) and said they were FREE due to a promotion and then put them both on my bill. Also said my case and screen protector were FREE and they were also on my bill. The most UNDERHANDED salesperson that I have ever worked with. He just got promoted and moved to the Plymouth Meeting store (beware) which is hysterical, probably due to high sales through fraudulent presentation. Beware of these "retailers". They are not Verizon Stores. There was an ADDITIONAL $30 one time fee on my bill and the Verizon rep said it is only charged by these retailers and that I should go to a regular Verizon store in the future. They have had a lot of complaints about people feeling ripped off at these retailers. Luckily she waived the fee for me. Yelp doesn't allow ZERO stars so I had to put one. Update. After posting this review I was immediately contacted by the District Manager and the situation was rectified. Great recovery Brent. I just had the very worse experience in dealing with this GO Wireless store in Oxford Valley. Sorry I did not look at these reviews first, as I am the 6th review to be negative. They are SCAM artisits. Add..I was dealing with the manager, Mario! I went into the store ( which I thought was a Verizon owned store). Do NOT go here! GO to a reputable dealer...this is not one...or go to a Verizon owned store.. So, I purchased an iPhone. Mario told me I was eligibile for a FREE tablet. I really did not want one, because I would not use it. But..he said free..on my receipt, which I paid out of pocket for the Go Advantage screen saver and case etc, it said $0.00 next to the tablet. First..when I looked at my bill, after he reluctantly printed it...I noticed that I paid 80 for the screen protector, not $40. Mario told me there were coupons and discounts in the totals, but they are not "visible" . What ?? Second..when I received my Verizon bill, there were MULTIPLE charges..activation fees, Insurance, which i said I did NOT want..and access fees. Mario said that there would be a device activation fee..from Veria\zon..he made it sound like he was not part of Verizon!..but that I should call them and they "always take it off". BUT, like another customer here wrote, there were 2 activation fees and the new "number" associated with the tablet ?? Mario NEVER said any of this.. So, I called Verizon and they said this happens often with certain dealers..they apologized and removed the fees. but only after I went back to see Mario and return the tablet. He was rude and condescending. He claims he told me all of the information..he did NOT..he claims I just didn't hear/ understand.He also said, that the Verizon reps on the phone " are picked up off the street and taught to read from a script"..they know nothing ! Really ? and you are the Manager of an Authorized dealer for Verizon? I called and told Verizon this and am filing a complaint with Verizon corporate. He should NOT be representing ( falsely and rudely ) their products. I have NEVER written a review..this is my first...that is how angry I am at how I was treated by this manager. We went in last night to get a family plan with an iPhone 6s and a Samsung edge. We were told we had to buy the glass screen protectors or else no service. I was going to decline and she said ok buy them ($40 each) and I'll give you $20 off each phone plus s $20 accessory credit. Ok fine. Then they say we had to scan our social sec cards in. We have beyond perfect credit and high salary positions so I have no clue what this was about. I had a conference call for work an hour later do I had to leave and return today. The salesman this time said the screen protectors are actually $80 each and yes we HAVE to buy them and NO we cannot get the deal the girl last night offered. He even went so far as to say she was a "crappy salesperson". He then asked for my credit card and we said, Nope. We will not do business here. I purchased a set of earphones specially made for women for my iphone 6. The instructions were difficult to follow so I brought them to the store for help. I was helped by Ryan, who was not at all helpful and admitted he didn't know anything about them. He attempted to help me, but did so in a very condescending manner, as if I were too stupid to follow the simple directions. I then asked to speak to someone else and was then helped by another salesperson, who also didn''t know how to use them,but was at least respectful and spoke to me in an appropriate way. He admitted that the directions were not user friendly. I left not knowing much more than when I came in. It was disconcerting to be spoken to in such a manner. I have never had that experience in a Verizon store or kiosk before. Perhaps Ryan is in the wrong profession or else needs some more training. read more

Purchased a defective phone case, went back for replacement, they ordered another one and told me to return in a week, When I returned I was told that they sold me case to another customer. Went on a Saturday afternoon to upgrade my iPhone to a newer model and hopefully switch to Verizon Wireless. None of this happened unfortunately. I was just discussing my options with one of the workers and also checking the trade in values of older iPhone models. The trade in offers weren't appealing and the price difference to switch carriers with a new phone fee just wasn't worth it at that time. I wasn't really bothered by the service at the store from the employee until two days later and I checked my credit report. Completely shocked that my credit had been ran without my authorization. I've been waiting to remove all old hard inquiries off of my report and now there's a brand new one from Verizon. I wouldn't recommended anyone going to this wireless retailer. Go to Best Buy or directly to the carrier. This place just isn't worth the hassle that I now have to go through to get the inquiry removed. read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Verizon store on Oxford Valley Rd in Langhorne, PA this past Saturday. We got there around 1:30pm and were helped right away by Ryan Hayes. We were switching our mobile plan, and we also decided to up-grade both of our phones. There were a few computer glitches during the process, which made it take longer than it should have, but Ryan was nothing but courteous and professional throughout. I can't say enough good things about him. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the phones and accessories. He made the long process of upgrading our phones and re-evaluating our plan a less stressful, even an enjoyable, experience. My boyfriend and I look forward to visiting Ryan in the future for all of our mobile phone needs. read more
