DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS! Went to get my cracked screen replaced back in November 2025, since then been back 3x for screen malfunctions that I've never had before. Screens & LCD's are unreliable. Even after purchasing a screen protector and a new Otterbox case from their store, the phone has given me more issues then ever. Each time I presented this issue, they would still charge me full price for replacement, just for the phone to have more issues after completion. Would not recommend giving this establishment your hard earned money, these screens are low quality, and their business model is reliant on their product breaking so you can return and give them more of your money. read more

Let the record show if I could pick negative to 0 stars it would be my first pick. About 4 weeks ago my phone shut off on me while I was using it. In a panic knowing that my main source of income is through my phone I started to try to think of what to do. Without use of the internet or any way to look that up I remembered seeing a you crack I fix store on olden avenue. I go there and show them my phone they say that they have to have a technician look at it and tried saying I dropped the phone even though I didn't keep it in an OtterBox case usually kept it very protected never damaged the screen at all. They say in 2 hours after the technician reviews they will let me know what we can do. 2 hours later they say they don't have the tools to assess this and I have to wait till tomorrow. At their Mercy I agree because I don't know what else to do. The next day they informed me that the screen had burnt out and that's why I no longer could see anything they say the screen has to be replaced. Them knowing that I'm at their Mercy with no alternative and nothing else I can really do they go and price gouge me and say that these are the most expensive screens on the market right now and tell me that it's going to be $380. Mind blown I said wow okay I guess I'll have to pay it then. So 2 hours later again I go to pick up the phone when I get it I noticed the border around the phone is a different color than what it used to be so again I asked them is this Samsung brand. They begin to tell me that they only use name brand on the devices it's their policy. Reluctant to pay I have no other option because the screens already on there so I pay. On my way back to work not even using the device I begin to smell burning plastic from it sitting in between my legs which actually at first made me nervous that it was going to blow up or something because of how hot it was getting so I put it on the floor of my car just to be safe. When I get to work I call them to notify them of what's happening, and all the sudden their English becomes so bad that they don't understand me and can't respond back very strange huh? But within a few hours after returning to work the smell goes away so I decide to let it ride. I then begin to notice that when the phone vibrates it gets a very loud rattling sound that does not sound good or like it should be with the phone. Here I am a few weeks later and the phone screen was even worse off than it was the first time around. Since then I had signed up for insurance through Verizon, luckily they have me go to a covered store called you break I fix which at first I thought was the same thing as the place I just went to but it's not really the you crack I fix is like a knock-off store that's just piggybacking off of their name. After having a real legitimate technician look at it they notify me that not only is the knockoff screen that they put on there a crappy garbage screen to begin with but that when putting the components back together inside of the phone they use some type of glue that made the phone unfixable. They said taking apart the screen would damage or destroy the phone trying to get it off of the board that it's on. I told them that they told me that this was the most expensive screen on the market and how much I paid, and they told me that they robbed me and that without insurance I would have only paid $200. And that the screen that they got me was most likely a third party Chinese manufactured screen which sell on the market for about 80 to 100 bucks if that. So what I've learned from this is that not only am I out the 380 that they charge me to have this destruction of my phone done to it I now also have a $250 copay to get a new phone because they've made mine completely unfixable. So unless you want to get taken advantage of or scammed I would suggest going to the legitimate store ubreakifix. Not ucrackifix.​ read more

I am a college professor whose (sad, I know) life is put on hold when a computer problem arises. I've used a very small "boutique" repair service in the area that is now temporarily out of business. I went to Ucrackifix the other day in desperate need of a replacement hard drive for a laptop that would hardly boot up. They fixed EVERYTHING (including some nagging small problems with the computer I didn't even mention) in less than 48 hours, and reinstalled most of my software without my asking. The price was MUCH lower than I ever expected to pay. Six stars! read more

They did a good job with my ps4. It needed a new power supply and they did fine replacing it. But they completely messed up my macbook, I would rate them higher but they were are disingenuous about the replacement part. My macbook needed a keyboard replacement and I paid full price for it which was around 135 dollars I think but they clearly did not use official apple parts as it is very apparent that the keyboard is some kind of Chinese knock off, its clunky, uncomfortable to use and the keys don't function half the time . At the time I didn't think anything of it, thought it would take some time to adjust but after a while the lack of quality was quite apparent and additionally they only have a 15 day guarantee on their work which was also a little suspicious and kind of confirmed the fact that maybe not everything was on the up and up even though they charged for it. Not a good overall experience really. Will go to a more established store next time. read more

The very first time i got my phone fix at this company Ucrackifixit, they took over two hours plus they totally messed up my iphone 5& when i called this place, they told me that they put a false positive battery after they totally messed up my old iphone 5. They saved my laptop and data for a very reasonable price. I've now unfortunately had 2 instances where I needed their services. They are extremely professional. The service tech left for the day and they gave me a way to contact him if I still had issues since I was scrambling to complete a paper. Highly recommend. read more
