It seems like my wife cracks about 2 or 3 phone screens a year. As a result, we've become increasingly familiar with We Fix It Phone Repair, a service provided by Batteries Plus Bulbs. I've actually always wondered who went to batteries plus bulbs, assuming that most people get these things from Target or Walmart. But they actually offer quite a few essential services beyond ordinary batteries and bulbs, such as car key fob replacement and reprogramming, tablet and phone screen replacement, Razr scooter repair and auto battery installation (much faster than at auto parts shops). They also sell smart home products, RV and marine batteries and more. They actually did quite a nice job with our screen repairs, and it didn't take them all that long either. The end result looked like an out of the box screen to me. Very pleased with the work they did and the price was fair. Five stars for sure. If your wife likes to drop phones on sidewalks, definitely check these guys out! read more

I am disabled and use a scooter to get around. I passed The store on my way to another in the shopping center-as I passed the front bumper fell off. I tried to Fix it but I needed an Allen key. Went in the store and asked if they had an Allen key and the young man not only had one but he fixed it for me and also tightened the other side. They wouldn't take any money-they just said no worries have a good afternoon. He was opening the door for me when another employee was on his way way in he also held The door. I would highly recommend going to batteries plus. Without a doubt they will assist you in any way they can. I didn't catch his name but the young man has no idea how much he helped me. I was BPB last week for a key battery. I saw a sign while there about reprogramming keys. When my Mom has an issue with keys not working I called and spoke with Ben about the service. He was super helpful. I went and got my Mom's car from the dealer and brought it to the store. Ben came outside and looked at the car with me and we both agreed that the issue was more then a key programming issue. I took the cat over to Pep Boys where they are going to fix the problem tomorrow. Ben was able to fix my problem but he provided a superb level of customer support on the phone and in person. I hoping not to return so quickly but when I do need assistance I will certainly be taking my business to BPB. Thank you Ben! read more

I contacted this business through the app to inquire whether or not they could replace the back of my cellphone, which is made of glass. Its becoming an older phone but they did have it in stock, while another business did not. The owner was honest that the phone would no longer be waterproof to manufacturer's specs, which was fine. They did a great job. The wait was just so the glue would seal. It went in at 10:30 and was back in my hands by 12:00. I barely noticed it was missing. I also got $10 off for scheduling my appt on line. I recommend this business. read more

After a horrific experience at an appliance store in Levittown, my husband went to this store to make a purchase. The associates were friendly, courteous and very helpful! He had a conversation with one of your associates and she felt so bad about his experience at the previous business, she even went as far to apologize for his experience at the other business. Small businesses are fighting to keep their businesses open and this place showed us that there is still excellent customer service out there and please go see these associates that truly care about their customers! read more

My phone wasn't charging, so I made an appointment to have my charging port replaced. When I got there the guy told me that he had tried to call to say he couldn't replace the port on my phone, but since my phone was dead I didn't get the call. He said he'd take a look anyway and see if it was maybe just dirt. He pulled out a bunch of lint and 5 minutes later it was charging. I asked what I owed, and he said that was free, just part of inspection. Great service, if I were to need something else I'd definitely go back. read more

Samsung 8 like new I cracked my first phone screen since I've owned smart phones like a month after I got my $800 Samsung 8. I took it to several places and they told me that not only would it cost over 400 bucks to fix they didnt even want to touch it because it's a hard phone to service. bummed, i decided i had to live with it for years. I waited a few months and decided to try again. I looked at Batteries Plus and they had a deal that was going to cost 1/2 what I had been quoted in the past. I took it in and they fixed it like new! Came to this location today, looked around, noticed there were no business cards. When someone showed up (no name tags), asked for a business card. He looked confused, as if no one had ever asked that before. But he went and got me one. Told him I needed two UPS batteries, was telling him the model numbers when he interrupted me and pointed me to one of the racks of batteries in the store. I was told that I needed the exact dimensions and specs of the batteries I needed or they couldn't help. Frustrated, I moved on, showed him the picture of the moped replacement battery I needed, told him the name of the original OEM, etc. He looked it up, found nothing. I thanked him and left. If you need a specialty battery, you're better off ordering online. If you know exactly what you want and need it now, it might be Ok. read more

Stopped by on a whim hoping they might be able to fix my iPhone. The only option I had for charging it was the bulky disc charger. The service technician was reassuring and asked for 5 minutes to try and repair the problem. In a great example of customer service, he went out of his way to help when he didn't need to. He completed it in less time and supportively explained the repair process. He seemed glad to help with what he deemed a simple unfortunate problem. He saved me from putting out hundreds of dollars for a new iphone that I didn't need. THANK YOU "Batteries + Bulbs" for great customer service. Brought my phone to fix a cracked screen. They assured me they needed to have me unlock the phone so they can use the camera to test the touch recognition after they replaced the glass. They use the camera app for that...which is available with the phone locked. All the apps were closed after they were done which assured me they closed the camera app and more. To top it off. My phone still doesn't recognize touch correctly, if it does at all, and the touch pressure is gone. Highly advise against this service if you value your security and actually want your phone fixed. read more

I scheduled an appointment online for phone repair, went in same day. The two men working the counter were very friendly and took my phone right back to inspect it. I was having trouble with the charger port. After about 5 minutes the gentleman came back out and told me he had cleaned out the port and that it was as good as new. My screen broke over the Memorial Day weekend. (Sunday) It was cracked all over. So bad that I couldn't see my screen. I really didn't want to purchase a new phone because I am attached to my 7 plus IPhone. Frantically, I looked online for places that can fix smartphone screens. I came upon Batteries plus Bulbs. Which I never really heard of. (yeah I know) LOL. I called, and a guy named Mike answered. He told me to come by after he gave me the price. I knew where this store was located after he told me. A guy named Dave was in the store. I showed him my IPhone shattered screen and he said, no problem and proceeded to take it in the back of the store. He started to get busy with other customers. I told him I was in no rush. He managed to fix my screen! I was so grateful he was able to fix it. I thought Dave was a sweetheart and very professional. I recently brought an Iphone 7+ to this B+B location to have screen repaired / replaced after noticing a 10 dollar off coupon. I will document here the most horrendous customer service experience that I have ever had in my life. The first issue is that after repairing the screen the phone became unusable for the most part. Touchscreen didn't work, randomly shut down, ear piece did not work, etc. This in general is not enough to get me worked up since I know technology is fickle, especially smartphones. They state a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so I took it back multiple times. They took it in for repairs once, and other times suggested I update the iOS version. After the 4th time I broke down and took it to the Apple Store, and they had it fixed in an hour. We now know to do this for all phones in the future since the cost is generally the same and Apple backs up their work. Why did we not just complain to the store and B+B to back up their claim of 100% satisfaction you ask? Mainly since every time we brought it in we always saw 2 employees. The first was a nice young man, always helpful but generally new it seemed. Very nice to my children, cracked jokes to make us feel comfortable. The second man was rudest, confrontational store employee I ever met. I can identify him as having gauged earrings and multiple tattoo's, not to cast aspersions on people who look like this, I just want to make sure that you knowsho you are talking to by sight. After our initial repair he told us that we " got the phone wet or dropped it ". When we walked in the store profanity laced music was playing on the radio. The nice employee turned it off, and the other one told us that since this is an adult store ( his actual words ) it was our fault to bring children in there. As children's power wheels ( little cars ) were on display. Lastly, this man talked in a threatening manner, raised his voice, trying to intimidate me to just walk away every time we came in, always on the weekend. I asked the nice employee if he was the owner or owner's son, thinking that is why he felt he could act that way, and I was told he was a regular employee. In summary I recommend to go to Home Depot ( or just Amazon ) for batteries, or the Apple Store for Iphone repairs. Since this is an adult store they should post a sign outside stating 18 or older to enter. read more
