I've taken a number of laptops, tablets, and cell phones to Dtown Tech. The quality of service has always been exceptional. Today I asked them to look at my wife's Galaxy S9. She ran an update on it and then couldn't start her phone. Dtown Tech took a look at it, determined that something caused the update to not complete. They completed the update and restarted her phone. It took just a few minutes and they didn't charge me. Those few minutes they gave me could've been spent on a billable project for them. I will always recommend Dtown Tech. read more

Blake really helped me out of a bind when I got a screw stuck in the back of my monitor.

Taylor is very knowledgeable and helpful every time I've been in. Also doesn't make me feel dumb for not knowing things about my computer!

Great service. Walked in (without an appointment) with a laptop that I was unable to use and walked out a few days later with a fully operational laptop. Communication was great and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. read more

Was in the market for a new display screen for a MacBook Air. The hinge that kept the screen at a suitable angle broke and it laid completely flat open. Apple Store in KoP say it's not a repair they do and recommended I check out Dtown Tech. They had refurbished screens on hand for my model and in less than 20 minutes my MacBook was fixed at a reasonable price in my opinion. The team there knows their stuff. read more

please do not assure a customer that you can fix something and they take time out of the day to drive all the way down for you to tell them you can't do anything for them. if you would've said on the initial call this morning you're not sure if you can fix it but I'll give it a try. I might've reassessed driving all the way down and wasting my whole day. thanks, Pagan.. read more

What more can be said? Straight shooter, honest shop, A1 service and parts. They're not in business to hold your hand and blow smoke up any orifices. If it can be fixed, they'll do it better than anyone. If it can't, they'll tell you straight up. It's refreshing to find a repair shop that won't at least try to bill themselves some time before returning your broken device. read more

Listen, Dtown Tech Rocks!!!!! 10 Stars!!!! Wondering if I had a real or fake virus, I called, they answered the phone on first ring (amazing) . . . and assured me it was fake, so I made the drive, but before I could pay the meter, these guys, slayed the fake. They wouldn't take any money and accepted two older Macs and other hardware to recycle. What a high! The whole atmosphere brought this Philly native back to her long ago west coast days of early CGI. I didn't know what to say. I just felt so proud. Dtown is what Apple was originally about. Well worth the drive. Rock On Dtown, Great Support!!! read more

My iPhone/screen was going bonkers so I had to take it at Dtown Tech, and boy I was happy that I did... After being quoted a fancy high sum for screen replacement by local Apple Store, and a proposal for replacing the phone itself by Apple overseas, it took merely a few mins for Dtown Tech to resolve my screen issue. Apparently, the only resolution for screen issues (per Apple) is a "total replacement". But Blake said it would take less than 15 mins for him to fix it. And so he did (at a price ~2/3rd of what was quoted by Apple)! The service shop is located right in the heart of Doylestown. There is '15-min-Parking' outside on the street, but I didn't have to pay that either as I was out of there within NO time! Blake should be awarded a medal of honor for his technical prowess!!! read more

Blake is fabulous. I was having serious speed problems with my 9-year-old iMac. Blake suggested installing a new hard drive and having seen him be right so many times, I went along eventhough it felt like I was leaving my baby at the hospital. Even worse, I had a ton of licensed software on the machine and was worried if any of it would run after the swap. I picked it up earlier today, EVERYTHING RUNS and at new machine speeds. Blake is your guy! read more

These guys are great, no b.s. quick and efficient, small/local business well worth supporting.

They are the best for tech repairs and they are honest!! Several times I stopped in with a phone or a laptop and they fixed it so quick they didn't even charge me. They have replaced several iphone screens very reasonably priced. They will also tell you when it's not worth fixing and to replace your item. read more

Went to Dtown with the granddaughter. Her laptop froze in the middle of one of her school classes. They fixed the computer and said goodbye. No charge for the service. These guys are the best Jerry, the best. read more

These guys saved my Macbook from disaster. My daughter spilled water on it and I thought it was doomed. I contacted Apple and they told me it was going to cost over $400 plus I had to pay for shipping with a processing time of 2-3 weeks. After reading about them on our local Facebook page, I decided to call. They are really down to earth and don't talk to you like you are an idiot. Not only did they save my computer, but it was also literally 1/4 of what Apple was going to charge me and it was ready in hours. I highly recommend them. read more

Have you ever been to a place where the person/ people are so in charge that you can just relax, be taken care of and just let go? My iPhone had been crapping out due to bad battery for a month. I just ignored it like we all do. Until I couldn't take it anymore. Walked into D-town tech, slapped my phone on the counter and I was walking out ten minutes later with a new battery!! No joke, I think I waited longer for my turn to talk to Blake than it took for him to fix my phone. All the while, Blake was fielding phone calls, helping a Dad with his kids computer after a fatal crash, and another guy with his phone issues. It was amazing actually. He was cheerful and clear. No fluff. Blake definitely a 5 degree black belt in tech services. It's been awhile since I've been in a place of mastery. Thank you. You just got a client for life. read more

White tall dude is very rude and not professional. Sounds like a crackhead! He was rude when I called asking for address. I went to the store to get my phone fixed. He did not check the phone at all and said $140. He also coursed several times. Never coming back! read more

This place is incredible. My MacBook Pro hard drive crashed and the apple store couldnt do anything about saving my information so I went on a huge search around the Philadelphia area for someone who could help me without breaking the bank. Dtown Tech saved all my information off my corrupted hard drive and uploaded it back to my computer and gave me a few upgrades for a great price. I feel like I have a new computer now. Blake, the owner, is a real solid dude who is extremely knowledgable in his field and tells you how it is. Zero bs. We need more places like this in the world so people aren't getting ripped off at Geek Squad or some other big outfit. I will definitely be a lifelong customer of this place. read more

I really can not begin to express how highly I recommend Dtown Tech. In addition to fixing my iphones and MacBook Pro, a year or so ago, they saved me easily $1,500 when they cleaned up and upgraded said Macbook Pro - opposed to replacing it, which is what Apple and another repair service said was my only option. Today, I picked it up, once again working like fresh out of the box - (it's a 2011.) They also loaded an external drive with 3 other old hard drives data, which I was previously told by Apple and others that it would be impossible to do so for less than an astronomically prohibitive cost. Pretty cool seeing pics of my babies that I thought were lost forever! To the reviews that say Blake is rude - I wouldn't say rude, maybe not be a chatty guy - but I'm there to get my computer fixed, not socialize. Extremely happy with Dtown Tech's service, timeliness, and price. read more

Dtown Tech is amazing. Blake, the owner, and his staff are the most laid-back, yet hardest workers I've ever seen, and they answer any and every question you could possibly have about your device. I took an old slow workhorse MacBook Pro into Blake and he turned it into a blazing fast new machine...and for a great price. I have almost triple the storage and the computer is actually faster than when I bought it. The best part is, that the service (a complete overhaul of my system, as well as a complete system & software update) were done the SAME day. In less than 6 hours I basically had a completely brand new computer at a fraction of the price. Dtown Tech is amazing. Period. read more

I've been taking my apple products to Blake for years (since he was at the old little window office) and have would rate each and every experience 5 stars!!! My best experience was 2 years ago - I was mid finals week at Penn State when my 2012 macbook pro decided to malfunction (when I needed it most). I took it to the tech desk in Paterno Library where they told me the motherboard was fried ($800 fix) and my best option was to buy a new computer. Went for a second opinion downtown State College and they told me the same thing, also charged a $50 "diagnosis fee". So, being in the tough position - I went to best buy and bought a new macbook thinking my 2012 was toast. Fast forward 2 weeks, finals are over and I'm back in Doylestown . I figured I would take my "unfixable" macbook to Blake just to see if he could work some magic on it. Blake told me that my specific model had a factory recall and apple would replace the motherboard free of charge!!!! Blake printed out a sheet and told me to take it to a certified apple retailer and they would fix it free of charge. Blake charged me $0. Blake is a computer wizard. I sent my 2012 to apple and received it back a few weeks later in 100% working condition. It's because of this experience and countless others that I will only take my products to Dtown Tech. read more

Whoever was working yesterday (4.23.22) should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treated a lady who was having trouble with a phone and her Sim card. Your blatant disrespect is disgusting. I do hope you do not present with that attitude every day. I reccomended she come to you all for help, however you xan be sure that will be the last time! I wish she had gotten your name since there 3 of you standing there at the time. I hope you feel better about yourself now that you treated her the way you did. read more

A couple of months ago, I first took my 2010 MacBook to the Apple store in KOP. My computer screen wasn't fully loading and was pixelated. My laptop was rendered useless. After having it for over a half hour, my "Genius Bar" representative came back and told me that he had no clue what was wrong. He said that he thought my motherboard probably needed replacing, and suggested that I send my computer to a lab of theirs. It was going to be an expensive undertaking. He also said that, once receiving my laptop, they would more than likely wipe out my entire hard drive. Uhhhhh, what? That's your default action? No thanks. Upon recommendation, I visited D-Town Tech. I was pretty desperate, and was praying for some good news. These guys are amazing!!!! It took Blake 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong. He not only fixed the problem, he doubled my RAM, had me in and out in 15 minutes, and charged me waaaaaayyyyy less than those Apple $%#&@s. On top of it all, those guys are genuinely really nice dudes. I truly can't say enough positive things about D-Town Tech. They've earned my business moving forward and all of my recommendations! Thanks, guys!! read more

The staff is incredibly rude, with a attitude of superiority and judgement. I felt attacked when I said my phone had water damage and they claimed my phone was "falling apart", the screen is a bit loose but that was not what i was coming in for. read more

Honest and excellent customer service! I stopped in with my old 2011 MacBook Pro that was having display issues. The shop was busy but I was helped quickly. One look after powering my Mac the tech behind the counter immediately recognized the problem. He said my graphics card was bad but that I was in luck because Apple had extended their warranty. "Go get your free motherboard repair!" he said. This info surprised me since I had another shop tell me otherwise. The other servicer took my Mac overnight, charged me $85 to diagnose the issue that DTown Tech spotted in a few seconds at no charge and then the other shop quoted me almost $800 to make the repair that was covered under an extended warranty! I followed DTown Tech's advice and I took my Mac in to the Apple Store. 1-1/2 days later the repair was made for a grand total of $0. Thank you DTown Tech for your huge money saving diagnosis! Also, thank you Apple Store Willow Grove for great customer service and super fast repair turn-around time. read more

I brought my laptop in today to assess why I wasn't able to log in. Blake and his team do an incredible job fixing my iPhone and my Mac Book Air. I used to have to drive all the way to King of Prussia and then Willow Grove (which is 60 min and 30 min away) but what was more of a pain is that they would make me schedule an appointment to look at my Mac. What's worse was often times I'd leave without actually getting my laptop issue fixed or it would take the several hours to get the repair done. Blake has fixed my tech problems every time. Plus, I'm in and out. I would highly recommend Dtown Tech. Their service is awesome! And, they just really know what they're doing. read more

I will start off with the bad.....Blake does not charge enough money for his excellent services!!! Every time that I have been in I have always expected to pay more that I have, I have said to him....are you sure that is enough? I feel like you did so much more that what you are charging me for!!! But seriously, this place is hands down the best! They team is highly knowledgeable and tells it like it is! If something is not worth fixing they are forthright and let you know. That is tough to find in this day and age! If everyone did business like Dtown Tech, people would be happier and the world would be a better place!!! read more

Very impressed with these guys, had an iMac that was on its way out, the drive was failing, contacted Dtown and they assured me it can be replaced, took in the computer and was told turn around for it should be 24hrs, they weren't wrong, I could pick it up the next day although data recovery wasn't complete (I suspected that it might be that way so no surprise), Blake told me it was taking time to do a recovery and I could wait another day or so or I could take the computer as is (it was ready to go with the OS reinstalled). Blake was honest and upfront, he won't BS you or try to scam you for services that aren't needed or are pointless, he tells you exactly what the problems are and the best way forward to fix it and if it's even fixable (I witnessed this while waiting as he dealt with another customer), the work bench he uses is next to the service desk so you can see these guys working while waiting, nothing is contracted out, these guys know what they are doing. I would advise making sure you have quarters when you visit, it's all meter parking on the street and the meter people are like ninjas in Doylestown. read more
