We found him randomly at a time when my elderly mom was having a lot of computer issues and was getting confused easily. Which can be scary given the world of scammers looking to take advantage of elderly folks online, etc. I live far away from my mom so couldn't help her directly, but happened to meet Mitch when I was in town when we needed someone and now I have him go help my mom all the time. From everything to do with the printer, her phone, her computer, her wireless router, even her cable TV. And now I have him helping my elderly Aunt - again across all the electronics and computer and phone kinds of things. I'm super super grateful for his services. He's reasonably priced (we can't afford anything but what we need), he's communicative and he looks out to anticipate problems not just react to the ones that have already happened - which is great. I built my own PC from parts, for example. Recently I came across an issue that, try as I might, I could not solve. For about two weeks, I ran every test I knew of, searched the Internet for ideas, wiped and reinstalled the HD, all to no avail. Lacking options, I brought my PC into the local shop, Saba Solutions, due to it's good reviews here and elsewhere. They did not disappoint. While it did take several days, the shop was able to diagnose the issue and fix it, all the while providing daily feedback via email. It is service you will not get at the chain shops like Geek Squad. Then, when I went to pick up my newly-repaired PC, Saba charged me a price that was maybe 1/3 what I expected to pay. Don't be put off by the small storefront and utilitarian interior. This shop knows it's stuff and the price is right.

The young lady working tonight, at around 7:00 PM, was wonderful. She was polite, professional, and got the job done rather quickly. I had a crack on my Galaxy S10 and just needed the front screen repaired. Only downside is that it costed more than it would have if I went to a Samsung affiliated store, but other than that then this seems to be a wonderful alternative. Only took roughly 30~45 minutes of my time, in and out.

Great people and great service... but for $130 to fix a screen, the touch is all out of sync…read more The first time, they put too many layers of glue so the screen wouldn't sense my fingers and they blamed me for potentially breaking my lcd (not just the glass) or that there is glass under the screen from the previously shattered glass (which they should've removed!). The actual technician was helpful and realized the problem with the glue and reapplied the screen and while it's better, it still is wonky in some spots. Either it doesn't register, or it registers a touch as a double touch, or it's just dead at certain angles (when i use it as a gps). They guarantee the work for 3 months, but I don't even want to go back for a 3rd try after the first two. And there is crap (dust, glue) under my screen which gives me ocd.

We had a power surge by PECO and among other appliances that were blown, was our 1yr and 4 mo. washing machine bought at Sears. We had purchased an extended warranty and Sears agreed to replace the burnt circuit panel of the washing machine. However, their service representative would not move the stacked dryer and washer located in the designated laundry cubicle of our 10 year old home. We contacted several plumbers and appliance servicer's we have contracted in the past but none would move the machines unless they were going to service them. We did a google search and contacted MFIG. The representative we spoke to quoted the dispatch price and we agreed to it. On the scheduled day of the appointment one of the best repairmen we have ever worked with,"Rich", arrived on time. He and another repair man( which he had to call because of the sheer muscle power needed to move our machines) made them accessible. He also then helped me figure out a plan to keep the machines available. We had asked various installers/plumbers etc. in the past if they could suggest a way to eliviate the problem and their suggestion's were always complicated and expensive. Rich invented a plan that would keep the machines attainable for any future problems at a relatively lower price then any other estimate we had received. He was very professional in the way he looked and conducted himself. As far as cost? I feel that unless you have a friend or a family member in the above professions, or are a DIY individual, all repairs are costly. As far as Sears? The extended warranty you might purchase is not worth the extra cost.
