This store has the worst customer service with the worst employees I've ever met in my entire life not to mention I'm a manager and when never treat people the way that the people and the manager at this location treat anybody. If your number is not linked to a business or anything they'll probably help you other than that good luck. I came into this location today to get a new phone because I was in need signed in waited about 15 minutes because I did notice that the other employees were helping people and there's this one shorter guy his name is David I'm not sure what he has against me besides being friends with a family member that used to work here that didn't like me I'm thinking I'm not sure I have nothing to do with the work though. As I was waiting I noticed David and somebody else just keep looking back on me and they kept saying something about good luck helping her and so I just kept listening to see what they were talking about and it seemed like to me they were talking about me because what they did was they didn't help me another person walked in and didn't even put their name down and David walked up to that person so I walk to the person with David who turns out to be the supervisor and his name is Ruben and I told him why am I so waiting when you guys just helped the guy that just walked in and he said oh it must have took your name out of queue and I said oh just randomly but you guys kept looking at me I said I want to speak to manager or supervisor and he said he was the manager and then I said why I want to speak to someone above you and he said wall take your name and I gave him my name and I said I still want to speak to someone above you and all he kept repeating after that with have a good day and when someone's already upset to keep telling them to have a good day especially for a manager will set them off with the anybody off I do not appreciate the manager at this location nor do I appreciate the employee that just walked over me for whatever reason that he has in his head about me I want to speak to a supervisor that someone above them to make this right because we're a business account and to be treated like that when I walk in there is a horrible way to be dealing with customers. read more

Unbelievably, the stories are true. Every 2 years or so, my wife and I upgrade to a newer model IPhone. We always use the Grossmont location. The sales rep has always been overly helpful...and as part of the customer service, switched my phone numbers over to my newly purchased phone. Not pictures...I understand that's an iCloud thing. But phone numbers each and every time. This young lady was not interested in that. She said we could do it at home. With coercion, she set up mine but really wanted to get in cue for the next sale instead of helping my wife set up hers. As my wife was having an issue logging in, Natalia our specialist kept repeating, "it's an Apple thing". When we informed her that we don't like to use the iCloud... because it would be more of a hassle for Natalia... she slightly chastised us by mentioning that "it's only one dollar per month". I let her know I don't want things on the iCloud. At that point the transaction ended. There was no, "Thank you"... There was no, " if you have any questions here's my card"...like every single time prior. Not even a good-bye. See you in 2yrs...Maybe. read more

BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE In my experience, Jeanette Alvarez straight up sold me a dream and disappeared when reality hit. She promised that if I left T Mobile, my bill would drop from $450 to $300 with two months of no payments. Sounded great right? Turns out that was a lie. Bills were stacking up at almost $600 a month behind the scenes while she kept telling me everything was handled. Now the situation is blowing up and guess what... she magically stopped answering calls and texts. Funny how she was calling and texting me every single day when she wanted the transfer done. Once the deal went bad? Ghosted. And don't get me started on Verizon's overseas call center. Zero help. Just script readers with no real solutions. To top it off, the service is NOT better than T Mobile. My Apple Music buffers while driving around. In 2026. Embarrassing. So yeah. Great job Jeanette Alvarez and Verizon. You got me once but not again. I'm heading back to T Mobile or AT&T where at least the bills match what they promise. SMH ‍ read more

ROB,ROB,ROB,ROB...that's the managers name who Robbed us of $35.00 re-stocking fee because my wife wasn't told about it on a $100.00 iPad mini if she spent $850.00 on a iPhone 6 plus. Oh they circled it on the receipt and said they showed her. 12 years we have been loyal to them and this is what ROB the Robber does as a manager. He's a petty little man that said he was going to call the police on me for being upset. It's hard living on Social Security, I guess Rob the manager must have a really high paying job that $35.00 is nothing. On the other hand he and Emmanuel made their money by pulling a fast one on 65 year old seniors...they pulled a fast one earlier this year by taking our unlimited data plan. Didn't see that one coming either..So if you like ABUSE, by all means go there. Because ELDER ABUSE is running around that store and ROB the ROBBER is leading them, ready to beat you over the head, take your $35.00 and say....Have a nice day you old F read more

I went in to the Grossmont Center Verizon Store, all new & remodeled... unfortunately they didn't do much to remodel their customer service. I arrived at about 8:10 pm typed my name into the computer in the waiting area, and then browsed around. After about 10 min. I was done browsing and was ready to be helped, but I waited......while waiting two of the employees who had been helping customers counted out their cash drawers, closed up, and walked through the "high security" door never to be seen again. So I waited......at about 8:40 my name was called. Woo hooo!!! In all the whole process of upgrading my phone took over an hour. The guy that finally helped me was nice. Problem was it was only him an another girl who had been helping the same two women the whole time I was there. I'm starting to dread the Verizon store like I dread the DMV. read more

First off let me start by saying there are a lot of reviews for this store are ridiculous! Those of you who call yourself intelligent are the ones making really asinine statements. None more worse than Anna M. I was at the store the day she was there and the manager Kani and store rep Mackenzie were nothing but helpful to this women. I've been helped by both of these employees before and have had nothing but amazing service! It's people like YOU Anna that give good stores and people a bad rap with your privileged attitude. I hope the next store you go to you figure out how to treat people better. You're a grown ass women if you need someone holding your hand for everything you do I feel sorry for that guy that was with you that day! Next time have HIM set up whatever it is you bought since YOU had NO idea how to set it up that day! read more

I had a truly wonderful experience changing my cell phone service: Kofi, A Verizon Wireless employee, went above and beyond to help me transfer my phone and numbers. He was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process, but what really stood out was his dedication. He took care of me over the course of weeks, making sure my phone, Internet, and everything were working completely. Very grateful for the help and support. It was a fantastic experience, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Mz.Gigi read more

After having a problem with my account and not being able to get an iPhone 13 at the Santee location I thought I would try coming to this store. They were able to help me fix my account and get the new phone along with some accessories. They gave me the best deals and even improved my trade in value for my 8 plus. Mackenzie was helpful from the start and helped make my day a lot better. She used a credit we didn't even know was on our account to lower our bill. I highly recommended this location! read more

this store is a little small for the crowds that can get at Grossmont, however I have had nothing but GREAT service there despite the crowds. Management on numerous occasions have gone beyond the call of duty to resolve issues from incorrect billing to phone upgrades even a few months in advance of my upgrade time. I think overall this store is a very good one. If you prefer a larger store, you should consider the store in Santee, it's much larger. (just off hwy 67) read more

So, when you go in to get a new phone, device or service everything is great. When you have a problem with any of what you have things change. There seems to be only motivation to make a commission. The issues we have we have had to take up with customer servic3e on the phone which they are very helpful but nothing gets resolved. Friends have AT&T which wasnt that great once upon a time but they love it now. This may be our only resolve. read more

I had an outstanding experience with Rafael at Verizon. He was incredibly professional, courteous, and helpful while assisting me and my partner in setting up two new phones and finding the perfect plan. His expertise and attentive service made the process smooth and straightforward. We couldn't be more satisfied with his assistance and highly recommend him for anyone needing help with their Verizon services. Five stars! read more

Disaster. This shop is stuffed with the most incompetent employees I have ever run across. The managers collectively have an IQ of max 40. They screwed me over a 15 dollar item and I left and went to Sprint. I am happy with Sprint too. One manager even had alcohol on his breath at 3pm. What a bunch of twerps. Don't go to this store to buy anything or you will be sorry. read more

Probably worst customer service I had or interaction. Beginning with the host at the front to the wait time here. Not professional at all, host said to me don't tell me your problem because I don't know and I can't help you, so don't repeat yourself twice. I was like well that's welcoming! Obviously she has no customer service training among other things. read more

This place sucks! For some reason this location and over the phone customer service do not coincide with what they say. This location is run by a bunch of buffoons. Seriously they do not know what the hell they are doing and come up weak with their excuses. They should be closed down and the employees fired read more

This store is the worst verizon store ever. i hate coming here. I rather pay to get my phone fixed then to come to a verizon store and get it swapped. The customer service is all about sales. all they want to do is sell even the customer service try to sell you the expensive products read more

Please take my advise, do not use this office for your cell phone business Rude and do not care about customers. Front door employee treats customers very like crap and really doesn't care for our business. Thinks we need them more then they need customers, personality of a wall. read more
