Every single time I have ever gone to the store I am told in accurate information and given the runaround. I came in a few days ago to do a trade-in, but they said I couldn't do it yet, because my order was not showing as picked up even though I had done it two days earlier so they told me I could go to any Verizon store and do it in a couple of days. Detail version: Incredibly rude and lazy staff. I called to see if they had my new phone's screen protector in stock and I was assured twice that they had it. After getting my 3 month old and 4 year old in the car, I drove 20 mins in traffic to find out that they did NOT have my S9 screen protector in stock. I realized that the girl that I talked with would rather be texting with the other lazy workers (see photo uploaded here) than walk 50 ft over to see if it was actually in stock. Anyone with kids knows how fun it is bringing little ones around, so needless to say, I wasn't very happy. I then asked for the manager and Nathan comes over. I tell him what happened and his response was, "well I can't just make it appear." Incredible...one would think that a smart and caring manager would have apologized and made an order to be shipped to my house overnight. I would have happily paid for it in that case--and I would have bought the otterbox case that I wanted there to. Verizon, if you even read these, I suggest making half an effort in training your staff to care about people who are still willing to buy from your brick and mortar stores. This experience made me realize that I should be buying my screen protectors and phone covers online from the manufacturer from now on. I'm sure they'll give me much better service! read more

Switched to Verizon and traded in 4 phones which they had us mail in. When they received them they said they were all defective and all had broken screens which they did not when we sent them, so they would give us no credit for nor would send back to us. They had sent us packaging they wanted us to ship them in. We have screen shots of them telling us our bill would be one price then they charge us another. And extremely poor customer service. They do not care for or about their customers. We will be switching as soon as our contract is up. read more

I have never written a review about a business my entire life until know. My experience and the way I was treated was horrible and unprofessional. I'm 63 years old and have been a loyal customer of Verizon for over 20 years and never have I been treated in a such an unprofessional and degrading way as a customer. I cannot believe that such a toxic business environment and practices exist today. Both managers are the epitome of what a manager should not be! The apples don't fall far from the tree either as several other employees adhere to the same business behaviors as management. For those wanting to visit a Verizon store, I would suggest you take your business over to the Verizon store on Keene in Richland. There you will see a major contrast in employee and management styles in which customers are treated with dignity and respect. read more

If you have had a problem with this company, you know it is impossible to speak to a manager of any importance. If your lucky and pushy enough, they may give you the snail mail address, for the "Correspondence Team" its a post office box in Connecticut. I believe they do it this way because they know at least some people will not go through the trouble of sending mail. However, this is your lucky day!! Guy named Ricky helped me. I went in and asked him some questions about plans, contacts, prices. Showed me a couple phones and told him I would be back next week. I went back later the next week and he remembered who I was. Picked up right where we left off. Excellent service. Guy could multi task like a ninja master. Simply hands down great. read more

They're all idiots and only hired because they're minorities, or air headed girls with big boobs and pretty face to try and get sells but have zero idea about the products they're selling. Ordered new phones through them and was promised $100 off each new iPhone as part of black friday and it didn't work out. Spoke with the manager and all they have to say is "sorry our employee messed up." No attempt to make it right whatsoever. Staff is poorly trained and give you the run around. Your better off calling the Tech support number and waiting 20mins on hold to get answers. Tech support was amazing by the way, they took care of my plan and new address which this location apparently couldn't handle. Waited for 30 minutes to buy a phone charger and was never helped. There were at least 10 othee people standing around waiting too. Finally asked an employee, "who can I get to buy this from?" She just said, "we'll be with you in a mintue." I already waited 30 minutes! Left and went to Radio Shack bought the same $40 charger for $10. If I were in prison with these employees, I wouldn't protect them. I would totally rat them out to the guards. read more

My husband broke his phone when it feel off his forklift at work. Granted he is rough on stuff, but that is why he has the "unbreakable" phone AND we pay for insurance on it. They would not replace his phone for less than $100 unless we upgraded and renewed our contract! They do have the best reception, but also the highest prices. Very on the fence with these people. Would almost rather crap coverage for better customer service! read more

I almost never write reviews, but after the service here I had to write one to warn others. My mother visited this store so that we could change from US Cellular to Verizon. We purchased three phones, and since we weren't sure if we would stay with the service or not, we were informed that there were no termination fees if we wanted to cancel within a 14 day period. Unfortunately the phones kept dropping calls around our house (just a reception problem in the area), so we decided not to keep them. My mother went to cancel the lines and return the phones, but was told that she had to pay the activation, termination, and other fees - somehow that all totaled around $1100.00 for ONE WEEK OF SERVICE. She visited the store multiple times, and each time was told differing information regarding all of this, so at the end she just felt like she was being blatantly lied to. Eventually she wanted to speak with a manager (who was there in the store on the last visit, and overheard everything), but the manager refused to speak with my mother because she was "no longer a Verizon customer" since we didn't have active lines any longer. After six months back and forth with Verizon Customer Service, this issue is almost - but still not completely - resolved. We are also reporting to the BBB. While I understand this may not apply to all Verizon stores (otherwise the company wouldn't be so successful), the corporate office definitely needs to take a look at this store in particular. Employees at least should be polite, and need to be educated on information that's given to customers. read more

I was having difficulty changing mobile devices and had a live chat with a customer service rep online. He was very kind, professional and helpful but was unable to resolve my problem. He knew what needed to be done but was unable to do it remotely and told me I needed to take the devices in to a Verizon store. At the mall store I was assisted by "Lupe". This woman was one of the most unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of working with. She laughed at the phone I was trying to switch to (even though it was a Verizon phone, new in the box). She proceeded to loudly chew gum with her mouth open while talking to me and essentially told me she didn't know what I was talking about and there was nothing she could do to help me. If you have to go to this store and "Lupe" tries to help you, I would ask for someone else. I was helped by a wonderful woman at the Clearwater store who (even though she was also not able to resolve my problem) was very kind, helpful and professional. I would say that the staff at the Mall store should go for a customer service training day at the Clearwater store but as I was told at the mall store by "Lupe", "We are not affiliated with them, this is CORPORATE!!" Well, yet another unsatisfied customer! I have never been to a Corporate Store and will NEVER go again. What Corporate Store would not have in stock a glass protector for a Galaxy 9????? Not even a Galaxy 8!!! So after buying my new 9 online I went to pick it up and the girl online said the only store that had the color I wanted was here. Not to mention there are several Franchised Stores near me... I had to drive 20 miles to this store at the Mall. Now I get there and want to buy a case for the new 9 and a glass protector in their famous "Bundle". But they don't have the protectors. Can't mail it to my PO Box, so have to make another trip 40 miles Round Trip to pick it and the one for my hubby's 8 after it is shipped to the store. Get there, didn't get the one for 8 because it was not made clear to me that in the "Bundle" I only got 3 things. Asked to have the protector I just bought put on and they didn't want to do it really but agreed to do it. (Of course had to also set up my own new phone as they said they didn't do it anymore!!!!) So as she was doing the protector she broke it!!!!! No problem... just grab another one. NOPE~ still don't have any 9;s in the store! So I said well just order another one and I will keep this one on my phone and bring it back when you get the new one and give it to you. NOPE~ got to take it off myself and send it back myself and get a new one and pay $5.00 that they will give me credit for!!!!!!!!!!! OHMYGOSH!!!!!!!!!! NEVER going in there again!!!!!! NOW, I have to go to the Post Office and send back a protector and wait till they ship me another new one ... you guessed it.... to the STORE!!!!!!!!! Another 40 miles R/T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes a total of 240 miles of gas just to get 2 phone cases and 1 broken protector and another one to replace the one I purchased and I still have to buy one more for my husbands 8!!!!! I wouldn't even give them one star but we have to. This place is a joke! First we get there and the place is packed (which I expected). However I counted more than 3 employees in the back talking or texting on their phone. However the manager was out in the lobby clearly not giving two craps texting away on her phone. After waiting almost an hour it was finally our turn. We were told all kinds of new information from what the guy two day before had told us on the same device and with ordering. Fast forward TWO HOURS we finally are ready to check out and order our phones and their system declines our card. We call cc company. They have no record of Verizon even trying to run an order. Shady?! Try again, nothing! The girl next to us is going through the same thing. This after we have now moved to three different computers to try. After three hours we left. I walked in with a positive attitude despite the bad reviews. I had an upgrade on my phone, and I was just looking to get the iPhone 6 rather than it's expensive counterpart- the 6s. As I wasn't the account holder, I had to get the holder on the phone to verify I was able to do so. Well, after a representative talked on the phone for a few minutes, although I asked for the 6, I was being given the 6s. Okay, no sweat, I can afford it and it's nicer. Things only went downhill from here. After running my card she activated the phone...to the wrong line. Strike one. This caused my sister to lose service on her phone over in Seattle, where she constantly needs to be on call from work. I was given two options, both of which seemed more complicated than they needed to be. I chose to have the fee refunded and to just rerun the card. I was told I needed to get ahold of my sister somehow to tell her how to get her service back...um, her phone doesn't have service, how am I supposed to get ahold of her? Strike two. After rerunning my card, there was an error saying it wouldn't run because it was showing up as a double charge at the bank. After going back several times to see her manager, and after overhearing the conversations they were having, I was pretty done. Strike 3. After being in the store for a full hour longer than I should've been for a simple transaction, I told her to cancel the entire transaction, I'd come back when I could deal with someone who knew what they were doing. Now, I understand things happen, but the girl helping me seemed uneducated in her job, more focused on selling an expensive product than catering to what I was asking for, and the manager didn't come out at all from behind the back wall to handle the situation himself, despite the repetitive mishaps. 1/5. I would recommend the shop further down on Clearwater. read more
