We lost a phone and unfortunately didn't write down the passwords. our mistake but we are not young people. Anyway, salesperson happy to sell us an $800 phone and stuff we don't need but wouldn't assist with trying out a few passwords to see if they worked. said "three strikes you're out," "other people in the store to wait, no time to do it.". there were 2 other people in the store at the time and other staff. We went to upgrade two phones. We wanted a specific model iPhone (16e smaller size) because we don't like carrying around a iPAD size phone. Salesperson tried talking us into changing our plan to save money. But we would have to add two "ghost lines" to our "new" plan. This is the point where the red flags started to show. He told us that he just came off a couple of days off and he would check with his manager to see if this "special" was still offered. I thought to myself this guy is going to come back with something like 'oh, that's no longer available' blah, blah, blah. Sure enough. He says "we can't offer the special in that model." But he can offer it on the laptop size iPhone 17. I felt like I was at a used car lot. He then went away again to check on something. This is when I told my wife that I'm leaving now and I'll be in the car. We left feeling so frustrated. Ghost Lines? why would any carrier want to give a customer a couple lines / phone numbers on there system that aren't even being used? This is a corporate owned store! we have been loyal customers of Verizon for almost 25 years. read more

they have a bunch of employees standing around and people waiting to be helped, but they claim they're too busy to help their customers. Today I voiced my opinion and I got told off by two of the staff. I told him to show some respect and to never speak to a woman in that manner. I have been warned about this location by other Verizon locations and told they are really unfriendly.. I returned my phone and the guy forgot to clear my data or transfer my Sim card. didn't even give me a receipt for a return on a $1200 phone. When I asked for one, he went out back and came back 10 minutes later with it and told me to never come back to their store again. Uhhh ok. This is the most miserable group of people you'll ever find condensed into one location. working is the last thing these people want to do. You could get more effort from somebody standing out on the street corner. like the other reviewer's of said, they just make you stand around waiting a couple of hours before you are even acknowledged. read more

Customer service needs work. Took my daughter's phone to get transfered to her new phone, they chose to use mobil internet instead of connecting me to the store. It was taking way to long after waiting for 1/2 hour and the transfer wasn't even 1/2 way done we left, went to the Mashpee location in the commons and Hunter was very helpful he took care of us, only took 10 mins. thanks Mashpee read more

I asked if i could just buy a phone off the shelf in an effort to save their time. I would setup later at home. They said they could not help me, it was not even busy. They asked if i had a phone to use to make an appointment for 20 minutes from now. I didnt, mine was broken... they would not help me unless i made an appointment over the phone, and would not let me borrow a phone (IN A PHONE STORE) to make an appointment at the place i was standing in. Longgg story short- i actually could not purchase a phone from this phone store while standing inside it with cash, debit cards, or even checks in my wallet. Went across the street to Best Buy, was in/out in 20 minutes thanks to Sean B. Skip this Verizon store at all costs, Russian roulette is more productive. read more

Using the Verizon website for support is an excise in frustration. Trying to synch contacts between phone and computer. leads to various dead ends. Tried to schedule an appointment in Hyannis. Website will not allow it as of 1 PM 1/25. Now on Hold with Tech Coaches via Messenger. This Customer Prevention Process just extends the dropped calls, etc. on Cape Cod. read more

Just got off the phone with a representative to try to explain we are receiving notices that the modem they sent us is being phased out as it is out of date and is not secure. They have nothing to offer and it is time to find something else as Verizon has nothing to offer including service. read more

Today we stopped in at this Verizon location to upgrade our phones and we were surprised to see that they moved locations in Hyannis. When we entered we were warmly greeted by the staff who assisted quickly. The employee who worked with us was very efficient but at times a little brisk. That being said, the trip was quick and we received a great deal. In the end, we enjoyed upgrading our phones here and we would come again in the future. read more

Terrible service. Was quoted $280 all in for my phone bill as I was switching providers. Bill came and was $441. Sales rep lied, falsified expectations, zero care for customer satisfaction. Was on the phone phone with corporate for 4 hours and they said $441 was the lowest and the rep was trained inaccurately. read more

While waiting 90 minutes for a SIM card(after being told 40....they forgot about us!), I met a nice older lady who looked distraught. Asked what was wrong, she told me that Verizon had given her the wrong cable- a USB-C, which doesn't work on her iPhone 8. All she needed was to exchange it for a Lightning cable, yet they made her stand around for a long time, waiting. For little things like this, Verizon needs to do better. They need a customer service counter where she could go and just do the exchange on the spot. There must be daily instances like this where customers feel neglected. Their current "system" feels very unorganized and is not a customer friendly as it could be. read more

Verizon is the absolutely worst company I have ever had dealings with! They WILL NOT let me log into my account, giving me invalid security questions which they never assigned to my account in the first place and saying my zip code doesn't jive with my account information, which is totally untrue! They WILL NOT let you call and talk to a live representative to straighten out problems, which is a real problem when they don't let you log into your account. The chat option works okay but again, if you can't log into your account, you don't have access to it. To be fair, we are switching to another much cheaper company, but according to them, or account is still active. Our phones show a Verizon signal but we can't call from them, so what is that? They just sent my husband a bill for $76 for NEXT month's service but we cancelled the service, so obviously, that should not be. We'd block the transaction but by removing the bank account from our Verizon account but again, they won't let us log in. Are they just incompetent or are they trying to rip us off? A friendly greeting and expedient offer to help quickly turned sour at this particular Verizon location today--daughter was looking to upgrade her phone to an Iphone and was told the only option was "full retail." A second query on my part a few minutes after my daughter left the store in frustration resulted in more "can't really help you" talk. A brief chat with my preferred "home base" Verizon store (near our former residence back in CT) as well as some on-line checking quickly established that one of our lines can easily be "bought out" at this point and would have resulted in a nearly "free" Iphone, and the wife could have then started over. So what gives here at this location? Apathetic staff that can't be bothered to think even a little creatively? Or sheer incompetence? Natalia was an AMAZING help and so wasn't Keinan! Natalia handled my sale until a Spanish speaking customer came in. She was perfect! Knew everything that I needed to do and didn't try to upsell me anything with the new 6s. Keinan was also a huge help! What BLOWS my mind was how Everyone was dressed so nicely and looked professional- except for a young male named Zack. His jeans barely fit, so he could not walk right, he wore pretty new Jordan's and looked pretty sloppy next to everyone else! Other than that, it was a great experience! Would give negative stars if possible. After spending a long time listening to an in-depth sales spiel that was of no interest to me I finally purchased a iPhone with cover and screen saver. Spent $1000. I was told they could not and would not help me set it up and transfer information from my old iphone. Of course it crashed and locked me out. As a senior citizen I found this unacceptable. He was very rude and not helpful to me. Go anyplace else for a new phone. ICape Apple in Mashpee was wonderful. read more

Purchased new phone from Best Buy, had a few issues, called customer service at Verizon, they said to go here. Their was a short wait, Dominic ended up helping with the phone, syncing with my computer, adjusting settings and taking the time to walk me through everything the phone can do. He should write a book on customer service, he answered all of my questions with patience and product knowledge. His commitment to customer satisfaction truly showed. read more

Great staff! I had a horrendous experience with the manager at the independent Verizon store in BJ's Wholesale Club also in Hyannis. After that, I was ready to switch providers but came here and found out that there is a major difference between independently owned stores and corporate stores. I was greeted at the door and had a brief wait to be taken care of. The staff was accommodating, friendly and patient. Wow! I had a fantastic experience today in this store! First, I was greeted at the front door by a friendly representative and told I would have about a 10 minute wait. Despite the volume of customers, I was quickly greeted and promptly assisted by Anthony - a knowledgeable, personable and capable individual who facilitated in the purchase, and thorough set-up, of my new iPhone. He was very patient in answering many questions and in showing me options for phone cases. On my way out, I made a point to express to the manager, Kim, my delight with the service I had received. She was equally as pleasant. For someone who used to get nervous about the process getting a new phone entailed, I was thoroughly impressed with the ease of this exchange. I ordered an IPhone 6 in early October and bought an IPad . The phone never arrived and Apple updated the IPad to an IPad Air 2 a few days after my purchase. I went by Verizon to see if I could upgrade the iPad and was told that as soon as they got them in, I could exchange it. More than 14 days lapsed and I was told that I could not get the new Air 2. After several phone calls with promises to get back to me, I finally was able to speak to Manager Sherry in Hyannis where I originally made the purchases. After many attempts, Sherry was able to help me through Walter, assistant manager in the Framingham Store on Rt. 9. Walter was patient with the details of my explanation; he ordered me an iPhone 6 and sent my 4s back to Hyannis so that I could get a $200 credit. Walter ordered me an IPad Air 2, which was delivered to my home. He took back the iPad Air that I purchased. Walter credited me and straightened out the entire issue. He helped me set up the new iPad Air and the iPhone 6. Both Sherry in Hyannis and Walter in Framingham made special effort to see that this customer was happy. Many thanks! Betty read more

I had a very similar experience to Joern T., and completely the opposite of Dave M. I, too, was greeted very cheerfully and quickly assisted on a Saturday afternoon. The sales rep. was very eager to "talk up" the Galaxy 7S that I was thinking about, and quick to "sell" me on the benefits of a high-priced super-duty case and Verizon car charger. He told me I could "buy" the phone at full retail and pay it off over the two-year lease. Since I was eligible for an upgrade, I asked if I could just purchase the phone outright for a discount like I always have in the past. He said Verizon doesn't do that anymore. Since I lost my phone and needed a new one immediately, I was ready to purchase until the rep started talking about car chargers. I told him I'd pass on that since I could buy a car charger at the nearby CVS or Christmas Tree Shop for $5. He lost me when he then said, "You put that on your phone and it will explode!" Well, I've been using one of those $5 chargers I bought over a year ago for my old phone (which was also a Samsung Galaxy) and had no problems. As a matter of fact, it's lasted longer than any of the high-priced Verizon car chargers I've ever had, which tend to break fairly quickly. I left that store and went to the Best Buy across the street, where a very kind and helpful young woman calmed me down, answered all my questions and didn't try to box me into a corner to "buy, buy, buy. "I was able to buy that same Galaxy 7 up front for $99 and no "monthly fee," and got the "heavy duty" case for less than Verizon was charging. I also received a free Samsung Gear VR which was part of a promotion. I will definitely shop at Best Buy, rather than the corporate Verizon store, whenever I need accessories or a new phone from here on in. read more
