Comcast in general is just THE WORST!! Go to BEST BUY or AMAZON, buy whatever equipment you need outright (router, security system, phone, etc) upfront initially it'll cost you more but the amount you'll save in the long term is so much better. COMCAST IS A THIEVE! read more

There are very few Comcast Service Center's on Cape Cod and I would avoid this one specifically due to the horrific attitude of just a SINGLE person who happens to be a customer service person. The fact is that the world is not the same and the internet infrastructure assistance that is actually provided for by the government is a nightmare. The fact is that I had to actually go to the service center after months of already having been approved for the $50 credit for the internet and $100 credit for a device. It is one thing to have the government offer the $100 credit and given that Comcast refused to participate in that part is irrelevant to the problem with the store and the specific person who I had the unfortunate experience of her not only trying not to help, but she was also telling me what she wasn't able to do even after she actually did it (I had her apply the credit towards my account a few weeks earlier but when I went back with a neighbor who has a developmental disability, she actually said she would not do do anything with her because she first had to get the internet added to her account and pay full price and THEN she would be able to apply). The fact is that it is one thing that Comcast is not assisting with the necessary item like a phone, it's another thing that the woman created the account to include the internet. The neighbor is on SSI so she has little income (~$688/mo) but now her Comcast bill is $220/mo! I even wrote to the CEO and they didn't seem to understand that they are actually doing damage to the woman who pays more for the cable bill than her Section 8 home. I don't know what exactly happened to the customer service department but that they know the customer who is approved for the internet assistance program is certainly not financially in a good place. Every person who has Comcast cannot get the credit for a device that they can't afford to begin with but the audacity of the woman talking down and sometimes seems to be frustrated has created a horrific situation and unfortunately, I am the person who has to help her get her bill down. She watches one channel period but somehow when she originally set up her cable and phone, she didn't realize that she was actually getting the most expensive package that they offer. The fact that they are aware of this and now having to escalate to the CEO's assistant is not what I want to spend my time with. And, it is not exactly like you just call and get it straight, I have to write it all out and send it through email. Every single question is several days delay.
