Owner called today to find out if I got the cabinet and I said what kind of furniture place just leaves something on your doorstep when you are not home, he says " I was doing you a favor" , and " I had to drive an hour and a half to get the cabinet from Falmouth" ( you can't make this stuff up) oh and would you please bring back the blanket( that they wrapped the cabinet in ) , BUYER BEWARE!

This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. With so many options of companies that renovate kitchens on the Cape, we are so glad we went with Doolan. The owners attended to every detail and made sure we ended up with the kitchen of our dream. Their designer (Mariam) has such a great eye and made recommendations that we would not have thought of and the end result is magazine quality! Everyone who sees it, loves it. The owner (Graham) set realistic expectations on the project completion and the workmanship was great! They have lots of slabs of granite and marble to choose from and we found a beautiful black granite with a leather finish. It has that honed finish and so easy to care for. I don't know where you get a service call at your home no matter what they do, (even walk out after they look at it and say it can't be fixed and you have to replace it) and don't charge at least $100 for the call. It doesn't matter if they live close by or far away, you are paying them for their expertise of being able to figure it out quickly, having the parts they may already have on the truck that took them time to order and pick up and for driving to your house, fixing the problem and driving back to their shop. If it was such and easy fix, why didn't you fix it yourself? Its a very unfair review, Appliance Plus is fantastic.

The quality of these cabinets exceeded our expectations, we are so glad that we chose this brand. Mark and his team can do the whole project or work with you on just the portions that you need.
