I been a loyal customer for the last 16 years, I came into this Verizon store back in August to get a new phone for my mom. We didn't need accessories but they said that if we bought some accessories we will get a credit on our bill. I had a weird feeling so I asked the employee to sign his name next to the credit and I took a picture of the promise. They told me, it will take 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to be on the bill. I came back in September because they didn't add the correct plan to my account and also mentioned that the credit was not applied. The manager then told me it takes 2-3 billing cycles for it to be applied. October and November went and gone and still no credit on bill. It's now end of December and still no credit so I decided to call Verizon directly and complained. They were able to help and apologized for what was promised but never received. This was bad customer service and employees should not promise something that they could not deliver. read more

I first went to the Verizon store at 18922 Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach. The employee there told me they were having "technical difficulties" and couldn't help me set up a new line or transfer my phone. Then he mentioned it was his last day, so he clearly had no interest in helping at all. No urgency, no solution, no professionalism. Just someone counting down the hours until they're out the door. So I drove to another Verizon store at 16401 Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach, hoping someone there would actually be willing to do their job. I walked in and saw three employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. Not one of them greeted me or offered to help. When I asked for assistance, one of them told me they wouldn't help me because they were closing in 5 to 10 minutes. They were not helping anyone. They were not with customers. They just didn't want to lift a finger. I came in to do something simple. Add a new line and switch a phone. It would have taken less time than they spent trying to avoid helping me. But they made it clear they just didn't care. This is what Verizon has become. Lazy employees with no work ethic and no accountability. No respect for the time or loyalty of the customers who pay their salaries. I will be canceling every service I have with Verizon. That includes all four of my mobile lines, my mobile hotspot, and my landline. That's 23 years of loyalty thrown away without a second thought. I hope someone at Verizon corporate reads this and realizes how far the company has fallen. You are losing customers not because of your prices or your coverage, but because your stores are now filled with people who make zero effort to help anyone. You lost me as a customer. In May, Iwent into the store to upgrade my phone. The sales rep asked if i wanted verizon internet. I said, no, I am happy with spectum. He said, after 6 months of having verizon internet, you get a free lg tv. I said, okay, I will try it out. In december, I called 611 and asked the rep I had not received my tv. She said, do not worry, i will escalate this. Aloow up to two weeks for our response. I waited two weeks and called back 611. The rep said wait for an email next friday of when you want the tv delivered. I waited until friday and said i did not get an email. The sales rep said you are out of the period of receiving the tv and cancelled my request. read more

Amateurs run this store... I scheduled an appointment at this Verizon store. When I arrived there was only one person working. (Day after launch of iPhone 15 - genius.) I asked if there was a check in for appointments. The associate said no. He was taking customers in the order they arrived. So what's the point of wasting my time to set an appointment? All I needed was a copy of my last bill to include with my T-Mobile rebate forms which would have taken less than 5 minutes. I left and drove to the Verizon store at Beach and Heil, also in Huntington Beach. There they had 7 or 8 associates. Within minutes I had a copy of my bill to send along with my T-Mobile rebate forms for about $1,000 to switch over from Verizon. If you want something done at the Verizon store, skip the Beach and Garfield location unless you have a lot of time to waste waiting in line. read more

The customer service in this store is amazing, from both Sergio and Misha. My husband and I went in with my son, after I had already spent 6 hours on the phone with Verizon customer service over the last two weeks. We had been trying to transfer 4 lines over from Spectrum, two of the lines were still not working properly, and we still had one line left to transfer after all that time on the phone. Sergio fixed all the issues and transferred the remaining line in 20 minutes. They were kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable and experienced with technical issues. I'm just so grateful, if you need any help with your Verizon phone or account, this is the place to go. I personally am not going to bother with customer service over the phone at all, I know if I come here it will get taken care of. read more

Deceitful staff. TLDR: This store and all other authorized retailers should not be in business. We were charged $250/phone out-the-door when we should've only paid $70-90/phone. Go to corporate Verizon stores only if you want to avoid hidden fees. My family came in to discuss switching from T-Mobile to Verizon and trading in some of our phones for the new iPhone 13s. We were quoted $220/month for 4 lines and a $750 OTD fee. After expressing disinterest in the monthly bill as it was more expensive than our current, they admitted that it could be reduced by $50/month without the phone insurance plan they added on their own accord. We then questioned what the $750 OTD cost was for and they explained it was a $250 package charged for setting up new phones with the current promotion and in accordance with "California law". Trying to privately clarify questions I had on my phone, Jeff, the store manager, quickly came over and looked at my phone while I did so. When we stepped away to privately discuss again, Jeff immediately inserted himself into our conversation and disregarded our privacy. Jeff then prompted us to pick out our phone accessories. When we told him we were not interested in these accessories, we were told it was included in the promotional package for each phone. We decided to move forward with what we were offered, given we were unsatisfied with T-Mobile's coverage. During this entire process, we felt incredibly rushed and pressured to accept the conditions. The next day, we discovered the package did not exist; my sister in NY added to our plan and only paid $70 OTD for taxes on her new phone. She was not charged (1) in-store service fees nor (2) for accessories like we were. We spoke to Verizon corporate and they said that we should not have been forced to pay for anything other than the tax on the phones. After this discovery, we returned to the store and received a refund on all accessories but were still charged a $35 restocking fee. We are currently working with Verizon corporate to refund the superfluous service fees. Needless to say, we feel completely disrespected and taken advantage of. It's unbelievable that this business is still open given their deceitful tactics and disregard for their customers. read more

George was rude, condescending and completely unhelpful. He told me the credit had expired and there was nothing he could do for me. We left. I went in because my phone fell in the bird bath. Although it seemed to be working some things were questionable & the case was definitely in need of replacement. Fortunately the amazing team of Josh and Jeff and another young lady who I unfortunately did not get her name (but she is the Queen of droid phones) were able to come to my rescue. They were incredibly patient (as with anything more technical than the level of an Orange & I am at a complete loss). They were able to set me up with a new phone of better quality at a better deal, & we're willing to take the time to explain to me any changes. Not good not good. First things first. If you bought something here or from this particular Verizon retailer, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!! This place is really something... and should be investigated. Parents visited this Verizon store for assistance with trading in their phones that they purchased online. They dealt with Leely and Paul. I come home to find out a receipt for two tempered glass screen protectors ($64.99 each x 2) $130 for something I could have bought elsewhere for a fraction of the price. I found a second receipt for a "Single Line Redux Membership" which costed $29.99. I called the store and Levi looked into my parents transaction. 1. Asked him about the trade in done on 8/11/20 and says there was a trade-in, but could not confirm the amount I was expecting (850$ and $600). Aftermath: did the trade in myself online and got a kit shipped to my house. Verizon website didn't detect any duplicate submissions so I assume the store representative was more focused on selling them over priced screen protectors than helping out with their $1400 trade-in. 2. I questioned the "Single line Redux Membership" and was told it was a service fee for the assistance on the phones that weren't traded in. As the rep was lying to me about this Redux charge, I googled it and at the top was the stores company (Victra Verizon) lies what Redux truly was: REDUX is an electronic device drying machine that can eliminate 100% of the moisture trapped inside your phone or tablet within one hour. I pointed out what I found on the website and he STILL tried to convince me that it's some type of service charge LOL. I wanted to return everything and get a full refund and the bright gentleman broke me the news that screen protectors are nonrefundable. This should have been explained prior to the purchase and if I knew it was non refundable I probably wouldn't have made the purchase to begin with. The rep said all transactions end with a post sales checklist which obviously was no where to be found for my parents. There were so many problems with the transaction and the reps didn't even help my parents with their initial problem. All I can say to whomever is smart enough to check yelp reviews, beware this store. I've provided screenshots of what this redux sham is and looks like I'm not the only victim. Victra is an "authorized retailer," and not an actual Verizon store. The difference is drastically apparent in organization and professionalism. This is just 1 of a few bad encounters with this location and employee, Levi. He first sold me the wrong color phone and said that because he already unpackaged it, I would have to be charged a repackaging fee. So instead I agreed to take the undesired phone. More recently on 2 occasions, this same employee has been condescending and offered no solution in honoring a warranty agreement for their phone accessories, other than trying to make an up-sell and sell me a new phone... even though my current phone works completely fine. It should also be noted that when I asked Levi for a customer service phone number, he replied with another arrogant response and gave me a completely different number. Whether it's lack of training or nonsensical effort, there's definitely an issue with the way this location is run. read more

An amazing staff, I came in the other day to purchase a phone and I was immediately greeted and helped. The manager Jefferey was very helpful and patient with me and explained all different features of the iPhone 13. When it comes to cost breakdown, I never understand but for the first time I was explained the monthly bill and the fees I will be seeing on my bill as well as the cost I will pay walking out the store the same day and the optional charges and what each one offers... safe to say I got all the recommended optional options. Also, he explained my monthly bill really well, and told me about all the expected fees. He also explained the in store cost to me and told me what each charge is and that it's all optional, and for the cost, it's safe to say I got it all. Excellent Customer Service. The Situation. I flipped over in my canoe this morning while paddling out in the deep ocean and I survived but my phone drowned. So I showed up at this Verizon store to get a new iPhone. Overall Experience. Great! Staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Levi was able to help me right away and answered my many questions about deals, discounts, and promotions with up to date information (..credit card available starting today!). He also gave me the good news that everything on my dead phone had been backed up on the iCloud the day before and it didn't take long to download onto my new phone. iPhone 11 Pro Previously I had an iPhone 10. Levi showed me his personal iPhone 11 Pro and shared a few things that he really liked about it. I was already interested in it even before I lost my phone, but he sealed the deal. Verizon Credit Card. I learned about the brand new Verizon credit card with discounts, competitive cash back rates, and no annual fee. Plus, it only took 5 minutes to sign up! Watch Cell Plan. I decided that the phone insurance was too expensive and was surprised to find out that the watch cell plan was significantly cheaper. So now I can paddle without my phone and be able to make a call from my watch if necessary. Plus, if I flip over again, the watch is waterproof and will not sink to the bottom of the ocean! Happy Customer. I left with more than I set out to get--the things listed above as well as some accessories--but I am a happy customer and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

Horrible experience, and I will never be back. This store sold me a phone I did not order, the price for the phone they sold me was for $710 and online at Verizon same phone $0.00 with a new line. Screen protector for $65.00...that was my mistake for not questioning it, $19 grab and go fee (whatever this is) until afterwards the manager said I was getting the "employee discount". Came home looked at everything I was sold and returned within one hour and paid a bunch of fees, a terrible experience. If you wanted to make it right, you would have given me a full refund. Customer service is outstanding. I come here regularly and they fix any issues I run into. I'll never go back to that awful corporate store on Beach & Hiel. Very friendly before they get your money but if you have problems they will drop you like a hot potato and not even be nice about it. Find out the difference between a "Verizon authorized retailer" and a Verizon corporate store....a world of difference. Their Victra Huntington Beach "district manager" is ghost, they won't even give you his phone number.
