There didn't seem to be much in the way of merchandise. Plenty of empty shelves. We looked around, selected a model and then went on the hunt for a sales person. None around. Went back to the front & were told to go wait at the register in the back. After 15 minutes gave up. Stopped an employee walking by to ask for help. He went looking for the stock of our selected TV and after awhile we found it ourselves in another part of the store. Such poor customer service, disinterested staff and a deserted, lifeless environment. Would not go back to this location.

I said okay thank you and walked away. Mind you I don't look into the details on the tags I saw it on the item and look at the price Thats.all.. I went to tell my husband about it and was debating if I should still take it for the actual price . Then I hear another worker with glasses walking by laughing about it on his headset while carrying a water bottle to the original worker who helped me . Made me feel uncomfortable, because it's not my fault it was tagged wrong , and I was just asking honestly if it could be honored . Maybe focus more on making sure you don't tag items wrong instead of making fun of customers . I still bought $250 headphones and $159 worth of legos. Maybe I need to start taking my business elsewhere .

So, I have a unique perspective on the customer experience and what it takes for a business to provide consistent excellence in service. The Microcenter store in Westmont is beyond exceptional! The commitment showed by the staff to treat their guests well goes far beyond most typical retail locations. I visit often and feel so valued as a customer. Having been in the industry for so long, most in multi store management, I observe different aspects of the experience when I'm personally shopping stores. And at Micro Center Westmont, I observe a clean, well-organized store with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team members who have a genuine interest in ensuring their guests are treated well. Far too many positive personal examples from my many visits to share, but the consistency is truly admirable. Now do they occasionally make a mistake or does something not go as planned? Of course! If it didn't they wouldn't be human beings as we all make mistakes, right? But I am so impressed with how hard the team works to correct those issues, big or small. The prices are fair, the price matching policy is very good and the return policies are exceptional. Micro Center is ALWAYS my first choice for tech and it's due mainly to the dedicated staff at the store who go above and beyond. If you've never been to a Micro Center, I'd highly suggest the Westmont location. Like me, you'll probably become a customer for life!

So I start looking around for someone to help me. 5 min passed and not one employee was available to help. Not one. So I decided I'll go find the splitters in the meantime, found one that I needed but other one was evading me. This time I go around the store looking for someone to help me out. Finally gave up and asked an employee to help me out after they finished with their current customer. The kid wasnt even looking in my direction just nodded his head. I had every single item i needed in my Amazon cart, but I still chose to drive here to give them my business. A few minutes of waiting, I just put back whatever I picked up and left. Ordered it on Amazon instead right there in the store. Employees here don't want to help, you can walk miles in that store before anyone will even bat an eye. I don't recommend this place at all. Far from what it used to be.

I wasn't really looking for anything specific, but I had some returns and wanted to casually browse around to try to find some deals. I didn't get any Starbucks, but that's definitely the fanciest Starbucks in a Target I've ever seen in my life. Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the front of the store towards the middle near the checkout area. The bathroom was very clean! Always love a clean public bathroom! Customer Service: The staff were friendly. I went when it wasn't busy and didn't even have to wait in line. The cashier was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Merchandise: This Target location had a lot of great inventory. Lately, I've been shopping in the clearance sections at Targets and I always find a really good deal on clothing items in particular. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great shopping experience at Target at the Hodgkins location. I totally recommend this location. It's towards the end of the plaza, so you can't miss it and there are so many other good stores in the plaza as well.     ***BEWARE*** I had a…read moretruly disappointing experience at G7 Electronics while trying to get my iPhone 13 screen fixed. I went in with high hopes, having had positive interactions in the past, but this time was very different. I explained to the technician that my screen wasn't functioning. He confidently offered to replace it in about 5-7 minutes for $157 (or $155 via Zelle). After a quick comparison with another store that quoted $225, I decided to proceed. When he finished, I noticed the screen looked blurry, and there was a warning that said "unidentified part detected." When I inquired about it, he mentioned a genuine part costs more and didn't let me know a non-genuine part would be used. I would've preferred to pay for the real deal! Things escalated quickly. He became visibly frustrated, saying he'd need to talk to his boss. After some time, he returned but had reverted my phone back to the non-functioning screen! When I asked why, he couldn't give a clear answer. In the end, he refused to give me my phone back and actually demanded $50 for the service I never received. Feeling cornered and frustrated, I ended up having to call the police--something I've never had to do before! If you're considering G7 Electronics, I really don't recommend it unless you're looking to experience disappointment.

    DO NOT GO HERE! I came in with a xbox series s to fix a broken hdmi port. I noticed it says "same…read moreday fix" in the front of the store so I assumed I was gonna receive it the same day but it took at least 2 weeks for the owner to fix. When I came in to receive my xbox it looked good at first but after i plugged it in and played it said "no signal" and I unplugged the hdmi cable to check the hdmi port only to find the port LOOSE and DETACHED from the motherboard. The owner gave me a warranty for 2 weeks if anything happens and I went back to the shop to see if he can fix it for me again and he said I HAVE TO PAY 70 DOLLARS TO FIX IT AGAIN? What is the whole point of the warranty? This place is a money hungry scam! I later then decided not to fix it and then a few weeks later i texted the owner and asked if my own xbox is in the shop AND I WAS LEFT ON READ! Do not go here!
